My error. I just checked the categories on the points page. I must have been thinking of the point given for changing a status but applying it to 'liking' one.

How about 5000 for being addle-brained? Back on track with food after wandering a desert for the past year? For asking nicely?

[I'm jesting.]

What points are you talking about?

There are no points for friend feed activity. According to the points page the only interaction with others that generates a point is making a comment on someone's blog.

I checked it out by 'liking' and commenting a friend's status, and neither generated any points for me.

Sorry, don't get the last bit - you want Sparkpeople to gift you 5000 points so you can give goodies to people? I think you have to earn your goodie points to spend! :)

Does only leaving a comment on a member's status statement earn the SP point? When people comment and "like" a single status, are they shooting a second, unnecessary email at the recipient?

I take for granted that a comment alone yields a point and look forward to the reply.. If I'm correct, how about a gift of 5000 points so I can give friends the extravagant goodies they so deserve?
