You will need to adjust your fitness goals page to reflect the average amount of calories you burn in a week (counting your martial arts). Updating your fitness goals will make sure your nutrition goals are correct for that level of activity.

This page has info on how to adjust your fitness goals page: www.sparkpeople.com/community/help_answer.

.

Hope that helps!

I started on this site when I didn't have a job that allowed me to pay for martial arts classes so I ended up in a mostly sedentary calorie category. Now that I have a better job I will be starting martial arts which means at a minimum 6 hours of hard training a week. If that will affect my caloric intake needs will spark change it automatically or should I reset some stuff in my personal info? Thank you in advance for your input.

Chef Meg's Cheesy Grilled Banana Peppers
Submitted By: CHEF_MEG

Cheese. Bacon. Tomatoes. Yum!
Chef Meg finds a slightly more sophisticated version of the hot pepper poppers found on appetizer menus everywhere. Her version uses mild banana peppers, creamy Gouda cheese, a bit of bacon for a smoky richness, and tomatoes to offer a bit of freshness. She grills them to add another layer of flavor to the dish.

Serve these as an appetizer or unexpected side dish at your next barbecue!

Chef Meg uses panko, or Japanese breadcrumbs in this recipe. You can substitute whatever breadcrumbs you have on hand. Full Recipe
