I'm not exactly sure what your doctor was referring to for those things. However, you can set up a meal plan with some preferences. To do that, go to your nutrition tracker page and click on the button to show meal plans. You can swap out individual items by clicking on them and choosing another, or you can swap out and entire meal by clicking on the link to the right of the meal to change it. You can also select your meal preferences by clicking on the button at the top of your nutrition tracker page to change nutrition goals. You can then check the boxes for your meal preferences and save your settings.

You can also search for recipes at SparkRecipes.com and add them to your nutrition tracker if you would like.

As for the reminder emails, you can add a reminder to be sent to you about those things using the planner section under the myTools tab.

I hope that helps!

My doctor told me that I could do things on spark people like ask it to give me recipes according to my personal tastes. He said it knows because of your food record. He also mentioned having reminder e-mails sent to you like you haven't been drinking enough water or whatever... I've been looking around the site, but having trouble figuring this out. Can anyone help?
