Richard Bernstein M.D. is an expert on Diabetes. I learned so much from his book "The Diabetes Solution." 95% of his patients are Type 2, but he has had Type 1 since he was 12 and he is a healthy 78 now. Check him out on YouTube, and I know he has a web site. I got his book at the library. I have Insulin Resistance and don't want diabetes.
I don't know enough about exercise to answer your question, but my adult children did great doing the Beachbody workouts with Tony Horton.

Does anyone experience low blood sugars with intense workouts ( Insanity by beachbody.com)? How do you prepare: reduced basal rates at a certain hour in the day, no bolus after a meal, detach pump at a certain time, and what carbs are eaten if any?
