I have five kids and I remember when my miserable critical husband came home from work and my oldest was 2 and he said "my god, what do you do all day." Right. I should have gotten a divorce then. But, I'd grown up in the 50s/60s and believed that divorce was a failure.
Do this for you. Back then I was 130# and my husband took "fat pictures" of me so I could SEE how overweight I was.
I learned "Critical people have to criticize because that is what they do."
I too am trying this again. I am going to be more serious this time. My boyfriend and my best friend have lost so much weight in the last year and have kept it off. I am hoping that seeing them will give me the motivation I need to keep pushing. If they can do it, why can't I.
