Weighed in today and I'm down 4.4lbs, feels good! Today I'm up-ing my workouts and I will be adding strength so I can tone this body. I'm feeling very peaceful about this journey, I'm not stressing about losing a bunch of weight, but I'm excited to maintain healthy habits (for me and my family. Wish me luck on this next week!

Well I'm almost done with my first full week! Feeling pretty encouraged. I've been walking two miles a day but it's been pretty casual and I haven't really don't much else (exercise wise) and I probably won't until next week sometime, that way my body has time to adjust to the decrease in calories. Plus I don't want to burn out so I'm just taking it all one day at a time. I'm feeling great though, all this water is really good, minus the bathroom breaks.

I'm thinking Monday I'm going to step up my walking speed and intensity, and Friday I will start doing strength 3 days a week. I don't have a gym membership so I'll be doing some Pinterest workouts I got (they kick butt).

The only/last time I lost weight I had quit drinking it for about 10 months! I'd have an occasional sip off my husbands but that was rare and after the first month it didn't taste like I remembered! I just want the sugar withdrawals to go away! lol, once there gone it's pretty easy sailing

I quit drinking Coke-a-Cola about six years ago and still miss it but know it is NOT good for me. emoticon I've never liked Pepsi, but I'm glad you are cutting it out. I use NuNatural Stevia and drink lemonade that is really good.

I'm sorry for you loss, but know that you DID get pregnant, which is such a big hurdle to get pass, and that each pregnancy runs a 20% chance of being a miscarriage, so do try again.

I have, I can't stand it but even if I could manage to drink it I think I'd rather just cut it out since diet is no better then regular...they're both full of garbage lol

Have u ever tried diet Pepsi? It is awesome & once u get used to the taste, you drink them over & over.... I am also sorry to hear about your loss.... Right now, I would get healthy enough to try again. Time does heal & I think u would be a great Mom!

Final weight goal of 140 pounds & maintain my fitness with excellent blood sugar management.

I've never really been a 'dieter', I've tried to count calories a few times and have failed miserably (within a couple weeks). About 2 years ago I gave up Pepsi for Lent which turned my life around. That one act snowballed into feeling better, then eating better, then exercising, and ultimately I went from 178 to 148 in about 7 months (no counting calories,) I then suffered a miscarriage that sent me into an emotional tail spin. 18 months later I've slowly inched back to 168. But I'm ready to be healthy again, both physically and emotionally. I will not count calories but I'm going to make better choices and eat less. I've dropped Pepsi again and I'm already feeling better. I will continue to log my journey and results.
