My goal is to lose a couple of sizes. Over the past couple of years I have tried a few different methods and saw less then stellar results. This year I am following the virgin diet, cutting out the 7 hiFI (High food intolerance) foods. I am on day 5 and I already feel healthier. I am still tracking my food using an app on my ipod. and find that this plan of elimination makes the meals healthy and calories are satisfying in every way.
my number one short term goal is to fit into the pants i just bought last september. they are a size 16. a size that would have fit last june b4 i fell off the wagon. the next goal after that would be to weigh less then I did last june which was about 200lbs. The ultimate long term goal is to achieve a healthy bmi about 160lbs for me. I have lost about 6lbs since new years just buy cutting out the sugar. Yay!
Then shortly after new years i stumbled across JJ Virgin on PBS. I have been doing the diet for about a week and am very excited to continue. Although I do miss the junk...my daughter has baked cookies twice this week...not one single morsel passed these lips...I know that this junk is going to land me in an early grave or worse more years then I'd care to think of at a nursing home.
oh i just looked at the time....time to go jump around the room with the lovely ladies of the Firm.
