So I weighed my self yesterday and was finally under the weight I had been stuck at. Not sure if the dinner I had last night turned the tables against me but it made me feel hopeful.
This weekend is going to pot. I'm getting up and moving but not intentional exercise except a couple of st. I will be fixing this later today, current just enjoying the day while I can.

Week 6 into blc 25 and I'm disappointed. I had thought setting my goal would be easy but this plateau makes me wonder if I will make the goal. I have 6 weeks and 8.2 pounds left to lose. A few weeks ago that would seem like no big deal but staying at the same weight for 3 weeks makes it more like a hope than a possibility.
This week I plan on continuing working on my problem areas. I found a new work out for kickboxing I will be trying tonight and will be pushing for 400 min of exercise this week.
Really need to up that protein so I will make double sure that happen and getting my freggies in will be another make sure it happens this week.

Well this past week I have been working extra hard and I'm not losing weight. 2 weeks of the same weight means plauto time.
This will be about my changes to see what works and what does not. I was told try something different so today I started with vigorous step ups, st throughout the day is hip flex, seated knee lifts, waist with towel bend, and seated leg lifts. Walk during lunch and kickboxing workout. Repeat for the week and increase protien and cal from 1300 to 1400. I notice ratting a bit more seams to help. More freggies.

I still feel zombie like and it is now getting to be close to lack of motivation.
I'm going to start by posting back in here every day.
I remember putting my feelings in here helped a lot.
Let's start with the blahs. Work block sp, now reading, responding and posting about stuff is harder. That lastest 5% challenge really brings me no motivation and I have an overwhelming desire to drop the challenge.
I want to get back on track and start drinking more water, so I will restart there and be happy that I did that. I also need to get better about exercise. My kickboxing on demand wasn't on and I have been struggling to find a replacement. So replacement needs to be looked into next pay day, even a video or stealing the hubby's computer and looking for a workout on there would make great ideas.

Stressful week and I felt like a zombie most of the week. Just when i think I don't know why I'm pushing I lose weight.
I don't like the zombie feeling I have. The RL moments take it's toll and the autopilot is on during exercise.
I'm taking some me time for the next few days. I need to decompress what is going on and come back strong.
So time for some laughs, stress few, fun moments and time to get out of my own head for a few days.

Well the BLC 12 week challenge is over and with that challenge I lost 29 lbs!! emoticon
Pretty freeking amazing. I ended up in second place overall between all people participating.

Onto the next challenge. emoticon

I'm feeling better about a lot of things. A lot less stressful, a lot less...........obsessed about everything. I'm working on managing RL and weight loss. That will be my next obstance to tackle. I can get through a work week without problems and I have a nice steady rythme that works. Weekends are chaos and exhaustion. So this weekend I'm going to try and plan things out better. Put a list of things I want to get done and when and just do it.
I have 2 parties to work around so this will be a good time to get this idea in place. Soon my son will be starting t-ball with going to a game either Sat or Sun or both. Planning ahead should help. (should being the word to underline).

Really rough week for me. Between being sick with the cold I ended up with a stomach bug on top of it.
This weekend was pretty busy to the point I barely had time to do any exercise on Sunday.
I'm also feeling beat.
Next weekend is promising to be a busy one again. I'm making sure to counter that by planning ahead this week and into next week better.
On top of being busy at home, work is now getting more busy. I'm not feeling overwhelmed just tired. I need to snap out of this. I probably just need a day off but that won't be happening for at least another week.
I decided after the 5% challenge ends I'm going to drop that one. I don't know why I signed up for a third challenge. I'm sure at the time I felt the need for the push but it is becoming too much. I like the 2 blc challenges the best.
Speaking of BLC, one is about to end this Wednesday (wow) and I lost almost 30 pounds during the challenge. emoticon
Very happy with the overall challenge and I'm glad I joined. Really informative and lots of support.
Anyways time to get to work.

Man I hate feeling sick. I feel like I about ready to crash today and it is only 9:30am
I need to get work done before I do anything else today but I just needed a moment to get some thoughts out.

I'm not feeling good about weigh in tomorrow.
usually I push myself all week long but with yesterday and how I feel today I'm not expecting a weight loss and would not be surprised if I had a gain this week. Not really too much food issue, but I know the dinner on Sunday although in moderation could not have done me good for this week.
Next up my walking. I'm trying to beat my time and even jogged some of the mile but somehow my time is worse. I don't get it. I'm going to use my stop watch today instead of the pedometer timer to see what is the true time it takes. I just don't see how my mile is taking longer when I job parts of it.
Anyways I hope I feel better soon.

It's been a rough week. I'm feeling pretty tired today and a little stressed. Aerin's b-day is right around the corner, I have another challenge I'm going to start next weekend and one challenge ending in 2 weeks.
I also stayed the same weight after 4 days of working my butt off. I'm thinking it's plautue time. Well see. I'm trying to keep working hard but when you feel tired it's hard. I'm looking at the wind outside and thinking I will be taking a bit easy on my walk this afternoon as long as it is not raining. I hope to get 30 minutes today, but if it rains or gets too cold I will be in earlier.
Plenty of things I need to do this weekend and when I feel overwhelmed it is not a good thing. I have to remind myself to do one thing at a time and not over do it. So time for a deep breathe

It's been a long time since I came in here. I have been keeping busy with challenges.
It's motivating to be in the challenges. I feel like I need to do this and when I see my weight loss it keeps me going. I just moved up my cardio 2 weeks ago. I have done over 300 minutes of cardio in a week emoticon
I never tried before and it was hard, but when I did it I was so happy I accomplished it. Then we got the challeng a second week and I felt like I was going to lose it. I didn't want to start doing so much. I felt like a grumbling nay say. Turns out I did over 300 min of cardio a second week and then a 3rd and now I'm coming up on a 4th week and I'm sure I will surpase the 300 minutes of cardio during the week once again. I am about 250 minutes from doing 1,500 minutes of exercise for the month. If I do it, it will be a first for me since I started.

Besides doing the weight loss and work out I started playing games again. I'm not feeling as stressed or angry when i play them. Some of the anxiety I feel is going away more and more, which is great.
As of Monday 03/24 I weighed 236.6. Amazing results and I am so happy. Just to think I started on 291. That seems so long ago. I started to think about where I want to be and realized I still have a ways to go. I decided not to focus on how much is left again, it's depressing. Seeing where I have come from is much more motivational.

I think I'm at peace with my weight. I'm not sure if that seems weird. But it was more like I want to lose weight but I don't feel myself upset if I didn't lose weight for one week.
Lets see if I can explain this at all.
I stepped on the scale for Monday weigh in and mental I took account for the bad day on Wednesday and said as long as I don't gain weight from one bad day I would be happy. I step on the scale and I lost 1.2 pounds from Wednesday. Usually I would be little disappointed and wanting to lose more, but now I'm just happy I lost something. It was like hey I know this is going to get harder now and any lose is a good lose.
I think that is a great mental place to be. Just being satisfied. It sure is a lot less stressful.

Well I have a few things I need to get done today. LCW is a combo of Monday and Tuesday for BLC. Well see what number I will pull on Wednesday.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Well I had a small set back on Wednesday, I had a chocolate egg. At least it was only one. I know I stayed in range, but not only the chocolate but the grilled cheese was not exactly healthy.
This time around I didn't get mad or beat myself up for the slip I just said tomorrow is another day and get right back on the right trap. Finally I'm realizing not every day will be perfect but as long as I don't go back to what I did before I'm feeling good.
I'm getting my exercise done a bit earlier. Still have a few things to do when I get home but I'm starting to do a little in the morning (which is a huge thing for me), some during lunch and the rest after work. If I can keep up pushing my morning to more exercise I can get more done throughout my day and not just bulk at night. But I don't have too much planned for tonight. Just a couple of S.T. assignments and about 20 minute cardio. I'll do my kickboxing tonight so I can burn more calories today.
This weekend my schedule will be a bit different. I hope I don't forget the slight change this week. I tend to get sooo in a runt that I forget when something gets switched.
Oh and I have a list for shopping planned for the next 4 days. I want to make some carmel apple muffins I found a recipe for. They sound fabulous and not high in carb, fat or calories.
Yes please.

I didn't realize how long it had been since I wrote here.
I have been working hard doing some challenges which really have helped me in losing weight. This week I have lost a total of 42.2 lbs and currently weigh under 250 lbs. emoticon
I am currently doing the following challenges; BLC24, 100lbs gues that phrase fitness challenge, weekly challenge morning exercise and just starting the BLC spring into action which is right now just 1 thing but will quickly move to more oh and there is a stair step challenge going on which I really think helped me this week to lose 3.2 lbs in one week.
That one (painful, exhausting, ect) really I believe helped.
Anyways that's the latest and greatest so far. Lots going on and doing one thing at a time. Today I have a 1 mile walk, upper body S.T and I need to roll some dice to find out what my other exercise for the day will be. emoticon

That is a great way to look at it Deb!

Well I did my weigh in and actual lost weight. I don't even know how I did it. This has been a bit busy week for me. I did some walking this week, cardio and bowling on Thursday. In fact I have done more exercise this week then I typically do. emoticon
I have another BLC starting on 03/15, there will be more expectations for the week. Do 30x5 cardio and 10x3 for S.T. I don't typically think about how much time I spend doing my exercise. I just go and do it. It will be good for me to think more about how much i really do of both during my week.
This week's challenge for BLC24 is stretching. Never thought about stretching before too much. It actually helps calm me down and steady myself after doing exercise. It sometimes feels peaceful to just stretch for 2 minutes. Something I will have to learn to incorporate more.

I live by this. Taking it one day at a time. That's the only way I can get through the days and do what needs to be done. I am so weak when food is around. So, one day I will be the weight I want. That's the way I look at it.

I am dredding tomorrow's weigh in. Thank you TOM for feeling like crap.
Grrrrr
I have been working hard the past 2 days. 53 minute of exercise Sunday and 45 minutes yesterday. I'm hoping for at least 60 tonight. If my TOM has anything to say about it I might want to curl into a ball tonight.
Bright note the ankle is feeling better. I'll still avoid jumping around for a few more days to make sure it's not tempory heal.
I feel like I just want the weigh in now to get it over with. I think that is the lazy, crampy person that feels like crap and doesn't want to do anything that wants it over speaking.

On another note this Friday is not only my 1 year anniversary since I found this place, it happens to be my 100 days since I officially started trying to loss weight. I didn't even realize the 2 days were one and the same. On a bright note, come 1 year anniversary time I will weigh less then I did when I thought about starting.
I'll take that with a grain a salt.

Man what a rough week. My ankle is still tender.
I'm glad to be over that damn cold. I weighed in and thankfully I did not gain weight. I stayed the same weight I was on Wednesday. I'm glad I didn't gain, but I have some work to do before weigh in on Wednesday. I really plan on pushing myself the next 2 days as much as I can. I have a walk during lunch planed out for the next 2 days, S.T., Stretching and kick boxing cardio workout. Yesterday I did 53 minutes of exercise, my goal is to match or beat that for the next 2 days. I'm hoping I can at least lose a pound by Wednesday even with Tom and being careful on my ankle.

ugh I hate, hate, hate being sick. The feeling of mush, achy, exhaustion that does not go away.
Last night while I was bowling my knee was hurting like crazy and I felt so tired. i think I bowled better being sick.

Great attitude Graphic!

I didn't beat myself up for only doing seat workout last night. It felt weird at first and I had felt really sluggish trying to go just a little workout. Turns out I am very much sick, which usually leads to feeling pretty crappy overall.
So in short I'm happy I was able to accomplish the short work out burst I was able to do.

Today is bowling. I love to bowl but a small part thinks I should stay home since I'm not feeling good, but the other part wants to go bowling because I love to bowl and miss it when i can't go. In the end it will just depend how bad I feel when I leave work today.

I'm preparing for weight gain this week. I know it is early and only one day into not working out as hard, but it's pretty typical to be sick, not work out strong for a few days and gain weight, plus TOM is coming. So I'm mentally preparing for a gain. If it doesn't happen you will see me doing a cartwheel (seriously).

I did 30 minutes of exercise yesterday.
Very proud of myself.
And I lost 3 pounds this week. Shock does not even cover how I feel.
Last night I slept like the dead. I'm happy I had that type of sleep I really needed it. My wrist feels better, leg and ankle is another matter but I know the ankle is going to be sore if I keep working on it like I have. Today I will not beat myself up and will take the rest I need.
I think doing seated workouts for the next few days will be best. mmmm I do have bowling Thursday so I will bowl and just sit more instead of walking around this time.
Goals for the next few days, do what I can and not beat myself up for needing to rest.

Officially sick.
I feel miserable, tired and like I just want to curl into a ball and go to sleep.
I'm having trouble processing things, focasing and I have a LCW today. emoticon
I really don't know if I will be able to get much exercise done today. My goal is 20 minutes. I need to keep up with the streakers. I told myself you do 20 today you can have tomorrow off to rest.
I know the body can only do what it is able to do.

Yesterday was busy. I did what I could before I felt ready to drop.
By the end of the night I was exhausted. I realized I'm not very hungry and I might be coming down with a cold. emoticon
Colds do not make it easy. Sure you lose weight because you can't eat but that is not really a good way to loss weight and you could always gain it back.
Sigh
I hope, if I am sick, it holds off till the end of Friday.

Survived weigh in with a 2.2 loss since last week. I was really happy to have lost weight with everything I have gone through this week.
I went for a walk during lunch (so not happening today with the storm), did cardo kickboxing and ST. I played, did homework and read to my son yesterday. I made sure to get out of my own head last night and focus around myself. He was happy and i was happy by the end of the night.
I just need to remind myself to do this everyday. So tonight is a bit of shoping, cook dinner, do homework, clean up, exercise and play. Fitting 3 to 4 hours into so much is overwhelming, but I did it yesterday and I can do it again today.
I'm glad to have bowling tomorrow.

With how I am feeling I just hope I can keep it up without feeling overwhelmed.

That is very true Graphic.
Today I'm doing better. I feel good about not working myself crazy and I had fun yesterday with some of the exercises. I even took a few moments out of my busy night and played with my son.
By the end of the night I was pretty beat and just wanted to relax, so I did. I need to try not to relax for too long at night. I need to get out of my time moments. That will be my focus tonight.
I woke up with a tweeked ankle this morning. It isn't too bad but stair's and too much pressure going forward is a bit tender so I won't be doing too many crazy things exercise wise tonight. Just do what I can.
Tomorrow is weigh in, I wish I could say I would be okay no matter if I lost or gained, but I can't say that. I'm glad that I stopped stressing out so much.

I don't think I took gaining as well as I should have. I got obsessed with the scale, worked myself hard and by Sunday felt depressed and blah.
I wish I knew why I gained weight those past few days. I realize focusing on the why is not going to help and to keep doing what I do does work best.
So no weighing in till Wednesday. Do what I know works and no more over doing things.

I'm just ready to go. I need to go. I weighed in wearing clothes today and I weighted more then I did on Wednesday. It made me mad and now I just want to get out there and beat this thing till I win.
I got some ST done in my chair and lunch will be a walk no matter about that wind.
I'm determined to push myself today. I know I can do it and I'm tired of feeling like I'm doing something wrong just because I had one slice of pizza.
Tomorrow is my month weigh in and I have a goal to get to. No matter what making that goal will make me happy.

I wonder if my humor is somehow lost on people.
For me using humor in trying times helps keep me sane.
I don't think if it makes people uncomfortable or think I'm cold or heartless in some way. I know people use different things to over come obstacles. Each person deals in there own way, but this is me.
sigh
I need to not dwell of the if, skip or what evers.
Today is a day that I can go outside and walk during lunch. I hope the ache and sore muscles don't hurt too much. I also forgot there was a party today so I could have pizza or soup. I'll have to think about it. In my current mood staying away from goodies or temptation would be best.

Well between Monday and today I gained 0.6 pounds. I was pretty shocked when I saw the gain this morning. I didn't understand what happend. I thought, maybe the ice cream cake from Monday caught up with me, maybe the sore body is muscle coming in, maybe you ate more then you realized.
All these thoughts and feeling bad and I had to shake myself out of the funk by reminding myself I still lost weight over a 1 week period, I was on track to where I challenged myself and to get out there and just keep pushing.
It isn't easy to gain weight. It does bring you down in an emotional way. Trying to fight back from the gain will be my challenge this week. I have to remind myself, watch myself and keep fighting and those thoughts need to be my focus over and above a slight weight gain.
32 pound gone. Just keep remembering where you are and keep pushing. Everyone has bad days and keeps going. You can too.

I did some walking yesterday during lunch but today is way too cold to go out for a walk during lunch. With a high of 6 degree's not including wind chill (closer to -5 degrees) I'm staying warm. With that in mind I did some morning exercise today so I could get in some sort of work out. I have the team weigh in this Wednesday.
This coming week is about adding 10 minutes to my exercise. I think I'm at 30 minutes a day but I'm going to have to double check. Somehow fitting in an extra 10 minutes (unless it gets warmer) seems difficult, but then I realized I could try to get up every morning to fit in 10 minutes of exercise starting tomorrow. So that is my goal for this week.
Not sure how I will feel about it but I will give it shot.

This was a very busy and good weekend. I stayed within my nutrition I got in a lot of different exercises and I'm down a total of 33 pounds!!
Woot!
I was exhausted and went to bed at 8:30 last night. Now that this week looks to be back to normal so I'm hoping to get some walking done during lunch.
My mother-in-law says the weight loss is noticeable, no one has said anything to me yet. I think it's noticeable but I did gain weight before I started loosing. Mom says people may never say anything to be polite. Strange.

Last night I bought a work out mat and a pedometer. It fits right on my pants and it's small so no one notices unless I were a short shirt that shows my hips.
The work out mat I used last night was cushy.
Bowling tonight means that is my exercise for the day. I already have all my meals planned out for the day and now it is just counting down so I can get out of this chair.

Did not get 260. Today 261.4 was not thrilled with the results but I know the bloating I feel today does not help me this week. Here is to hoping I will be out of the 260's next week.
This week I won't be able to walk. With a high of 10 degrees and only a 1/2 hour lunch to make up for my sick day it will be only at home I will get exercise in.
I will be glad when this week is over.

Pretty exhausted after a busy weekend. I need to take time for myself and not push too hard.
I stayed home to get some rest. I do plan on staying on track today, get some exercise and walking.
Lunch is in one hour. I'll get dressed by then and get a shower. I just need to sit and rest for a bit.

I have offically walked every day this week! emoticon
I downloaded a pedometer so I knew how fast I was walking and how far and my phone died right as I was reaching .40 of my walk.
Grrrr damn phone.
I'm getting it replaced this weekend (tomorrow by the looks of it). I need to get a full charge and try and walk again tomorrrow for a challenge I want to do.
I have to say the BLC is really helping motivate me to try things and push myself. I need to try and do push up and situps for one minute and put how many I did in that time.
It also looks like it may not snow this weekend or it will be a light snow.
I'm really glad because I am a bit tired of it and would love to spend some time just outside this weekend.
Monday is one weigh in for one group and Wednesday is BLC weigh in. I'm excited again to weigh in and see the results since I have been working so hard this week. I have noticed more sweating lately. emoticon

I have now lost 28 pounds total at this point. It is incredible and exciting.
I did my walk yesterday and I walked today during lunch. It was so cold and windy today. I wanted to walk 20 minutes at least but with the wind blowing I walked a bit faster and got back in 14 minutes. Brrrrrrrr
Tonight's challenge is an ab workout. Co-capt recommended a video but I'm going to look for something on TV to do because trying to get the computer is difficult.
I also plan on making dinner, making some yummy and healthy bananan chocolate chip muffins and making sure the little one is in bed my 8pm.
Sigh so much to do once I get home. I wish I could bring my kitchen to work.

Nothing too exciting to report.
BLC starts tomorrow, first official weigh in . Lots of thing to do once it starts though.
It is hard to sit still at work lately and yesterday I went for a walk during lunch. Plan to do it again today , however I will be walking a bit slower. My feet hurt with the shoes a lot.

Today was not as good as yesterday. I got 5 glasses of water today. I was under my calorie, mostly ate a late lunch and didn't feel very hungry for dinner.
I tried to stay close but at 8pm at night the idea of trying to eat another bite does not make me feel very good.
Tomorrow is my 2 month anniversary here. Lets see where I stand then.

Busy day ahead. I'm working hard to eat properly, exercise and get my water this weekend. I haven't been doing the best on the weekends since I started and I'm determined to make my weekend count.
So far I have had 4 glasses if water and 400 cal if food. I already did 20 minutes if kickboxing and it is only 11:30am. This is the best I have done on a Saturday so far.
We are taking off for bowling soon and running some errands after bowling.
Glad I got the exercise done early.

Woo Hoo I am down 25 pounds now. Weighed this morning and was thrilled to see 266.
Everytime I see a loss or feel my clothes are losser the better I feel.

For some reason I'm in a really good mood.
I don't know if it is because it is -6 degrees and I layered clothes to the point I don't feel the cold and it's nice to survive, if I feel good with my weight loss, or a combo of everything.
Tomorrow is weigh day. I have lost since I started 23 pounds.
Its amazing.
I know I have a long way to go, but I don't focus on that. It's too intimitating to think about the amout of weight to loss. I think about each pound I have loss and how far I have come since I started.
Next goal is not until April where I want to loss a total of 46 pounds by then. I feel that is more then realistic and doable goal to set. No pressure and taking my time without stress.

I attended a baby shower yesterday. They had cookies, cole slaw, bbq pork, baked beans and candy.
I didn't eat much so I had the bbq pork, 1 roll, 2 cookies and a small serving of baked beans. I skipped the cole slaw completely.
The little one had fun and it was a nice party. Over all a very busy weekend for me.
Somehow I need to start waking up earlier on the weekends so I can have a normal meal day and not an under meal day. It's hard when you have so little breaks in life and you are used to having time to yourself to rest and not think about food.
One more week for the BLC to start. Hopefull that will help keep me motivated to continue to loss weight.

Didn't get to go bowling the weather was horrible yesterday and scary to drive in. I'm not used to the snow out here yet.
I ended up doing some kickboxing cardio and core exercise to make up for the bowling.
Tonight is food shopping. I have to plan out for the next few days for food. Already have a new pork chop dish we will be trying in the crockpot on Sunday or Monday night.
I just need to get motivated to start looking. Sometimes it hard to shop when you don't know what you feel like eating.

Not much happened yesterday. I did get some exercise in and kept track of my nutrition but it was pretty mellow day. I'm realizing that now that I'm more active, sitting and doing nothing but watching TV is boring.
The heavy snow and bitter cold keeps me inside. I would not mind snow but bitter cold and wind is really painful.
Today is starting good. I have bowling tonight, have breakfast, lunch and snacks all worked out and everything for nutrition is looking right on track without being too under.
I'm looking forward to bowling tonight and it looks like this Saturday will be warmer with no snow, so I'm going to take that day to get out and do something because Sunday starts another storm system.

It New Years Eve 2013. Today is the last party I have planned until my son's b-day in April. We are having a "ball" party at work with all sorts of good from meatballs, cheese balls, chocolate balls and some veggie balls.
Trying to caluculate the items is hard but I'm trying to stay within my nutrition. I have one more weigh in tomorrow to loss the 5 pounds. I have 0.2 pounds to loss by Wednesday, which sounds simple till you realize that New Years eve is all about party goodies.
I'm making something healthy tonight for dinner that is mostly veggies to make up for the party food for lunch.
I don't make resolutions any more. I make goals, my goal for 2014 is to loss 80 pounds by the before the end of next year. That would be a total of 100 pounds since I started. It sounds so intimitating writing out the time. I have been using shorter goals for myself as it doesn't seem so overwhelming. For now 10 pounds a month is my goal.

Yesterday was not a very good day. I wasn't really hungry which leads to snacking. I ended up eating more fatty foods when i get snacky apparently.
I'm going to have to watch that on the weekends.
Today I had everything planned out, including dinner to make sure I stay in a 1400 calorie range and keeping the carbs and fat at a good range. With everything already planned it is easier and less stressful.
I signed up for the BLC here at SP. It starts 01/15. I'm excited for the challenge, but scared at the same time. I have been doing a lot of this just to do it without pressure, just because I wanted to loss weight. The BLC is to help challenge me and keep me on track. Time will tell how it goes and I will do my best not to overthink things.
On a bright note I have lost just over 20 pounds! It feels good to keep losing weight and not gain any back so far.

I'm starting to realize I'm very busy on the weekends to think out eating. Usually by noon I have breakfast, snack and eating lunch. So far only had breakfast and it's almost 1pm.
Busy is nice but trying to fit in the right nutrition is tricky.
I'm looking forward to trying the biggest loser game I got.

Man I'm hurting today. I went bowling last night and we bowled for 2 hours, then about 3 am the little one comes to the room coughing and wants mom.
The bright note I was good about my choice today for snacks, breakfast and lunch. It makes me feel good and filled. I just wish I had remembered to take the pain pill before I left for work today.

I decided after the dinner I had and the past few days that I would weigh myself. We have a goal going on in a group I'm in to loss 5 pounds by New Years day. I wanted to see how bad I might be behind to find out I actually lost weight.
Granted it wasn't alot by any means, but I was more happy that I didn't gain weight with the meal I had last night.

I have 5 more days to lose 1.4 pounds to reach the goal set in the group. Whether I reach it or not doesn't mean I didn't try, I'm more happy I did not gain weight. It really has been a struggle these past 2 weeks. Thank God I only have one more party to deal with.

Once you stop eating something, then try it after a long period of time has gone by, you could be surprised at how differently things taste. For example I used to always eat pre packaged meals, and I didn't really notice the salt in them, now... Wow they are soooo salty!! It is the same for me whenever I have anything with sugar in it, milk chocolate tastes too sweet, a double double coffee.... Yuck! Today my mom offered me some tea, I assumed she knew how I drank it, well she put a teaspoon of sugar in it, that is all I could taste, and I couldn't drink it. I take my tea black by the way. The point is, whenever you make big changes as to how and what you eat your body adapts to the new way of eating. I couldn't even eat chocolate for a whole year after I had mono, because I stopped eating sugar, so my body thought it was wrong to eat, and I didn't like it anymore.

It is a great sign that you are reaching this point, because eating choices will only start getting easier from here!! Keep it up!

Yesterday was a bad day. I was doing really good till night. Had to get some things from the store, thankfully I walked fast because that was the only exercise I had time for that day.
Then by the time we get home it is too late to cook the chicken meal I planned for and instead had mac and cheese. Dear lord the fat on that product was shocking.
Then I had to cook 3 pounds of bacon for a dish my mother is making for Christmas. I felt so gressy and tired by the end of the day. I felt disgusting just being around all that gresse and fat.
yuck!
I told the hubby we are doing chicken tonight, no excuses. No more mac and cheese for me again. yuck.

Lost 3.2 pounds this week. With fighting a cold, resting and doing my damnest to work out I'm thrilled with that loss.
Not sure how this week will go.
Finally have a day with no snow and rain so I plan on walking during my lunch break today. Brought my running shoes and jacket.
I'm really excited about Christmas. Can't wait for the day to be here. We bought a Wii and I got the Biggest Loser game to try. I already played the Wii Sports, which will be my next purchase. It was a lot of fun and a good way to lose weight.

I am seriously considering changing my work up a bit, so I'm not working so many hours. If I can work less and get paid the same this will improve my life. Then I can eat at home and maintain a more regular schedule. I will be talking to my work partner on Monday, I will let you know how it goes. Taking off all that excess stress will definitely help me on my weight loss journey and promote a more healthy lifestyle.

Hope you are well soon! I won't be able to go anywhere tomorrow, there is a huge ice storm for the next 24hrs, so I get to do some home cooking, I will make lots and freeze some so that it is easier during the week to eat right. Have a good holiday time!

We just stopped snowing on Thursday . Big fat raining day today.
Too much snow fall this year in my opinion.
I'm getting rest.
Took Thursday off and I slept ore today. I have mostly a nose cold left thankfully.
Tonight will be left over night. Wrapping present tonight too. I want to get some done so we are not found last minute like usual.

I am sorry to hear that you are under the weather, remember to keep really well hydrated, even if you can't eat, you can drink warm broth, tea, or apple juice (unsweetened) will also do the trick! I woke up with a fever this morning ,so dizzy and head pounding, I pushed past it later during the day, but I am also trying to flush out my system by drinking a lot of water.

Winter is a challenging time of year for colds, flues and other things. It is supposed to rain and freeze for the next two days. Right now our lawns have about three feet of snow, and there is about one inch of ice on top of it..... Brutal!! I hope you don't have weather like this, but if you do, be safe, and take time for yourself to get better. emoticon

It's been awhile since I missed a day writing my day. I ended up with a really bad cold that knocked me down. I haven't eatten too much because it is that type of cold.
I did my best to get some exercise in despite feeling crappy. I really don't know if I will be able to get any exercise in today. I will try my hardest, but all I want to do is go to sleep right now.
This weekend is wraping presents at night once the little one goes to bed and not much else. I hope i will feel better soon.

Crockpot dinners are absolutely the best thing in the world. Put it together before you leave for work, when you get home dinner is ready.

Looking at this past week I will have to say I was very off this past week.
I did my best to stay within my nutrition and suceeded but I don't think I got enough exercise in, maybe, or even though I stuck within my guidelines of nutrition goals, some of the goodies still caught up with me that I had this week.
Either way I'm glad to think of this as a fresh week. No more parties this week and things will be very busy for the next few days once I get home.
I have to say I really miss the walks I took during my lunch break, but with all the snow we have had it is very difficult to get any walking done outside. I saw that we should get a break this week so I hope to get some walking in soon.

Today has been a really rough day.
We did a marathon christmas shopping yesterday and got home at 1:30am.
Got to bed about 2:30am and woke up at 8am. I just could not get myself moving.
I are some breakfast and went back to sleep for 2 hours.
I still am dragging but starting to feel functional.

I got only 13 minutes of exercise yesterday. By 9pm I was just exhausted. I have been putting a goal of at least 20 minutes of exercise daily.
I did and have stayed within my nutrition guidelines every day.
More snow in the forecast this weekend. As long as it is not blowing we will go play out in the snow today.

Ugh,
I am having a rough morning. I didn't not sleep well thanks to the little one. He woke up because he was too cold and didn't want to go back to his bed, this was at 3am.
So I get crowed out of bed about 5:30am.
I feel like I just want to crawl back into bed.

Hopefully I can pull myself out of this sleepiness before the end of day so I feel can get in some exercise. It is hard to be motiviated when you feel so tired.
