Good for you with the changes to your eating habits. If you don't feel much better by now you will soon.
Scheduling, or making a "daily Plan of Action" as I call it, is an essential part of long term success. I schedule my work daily so I can finish in time to work out and swim before it gets dark. I plan my meals for the week, make my grocery list and shop one day per week. This saves me time, which with two small children I'm sure is in short supply at your house.
Having a weekly plan broken down into 7 daily plans will give you piece of mind and help you be more effective throughout the day, and it's good for the kids to have a routine too.

funny i was going to suggest flylady too check out her sink reflections theory my mom would be 100 this year she would have been the first totell you to use the wekly schedule...mon for laundry...tues vac...her house was always immaculate mine is not but with newer conveniences it is sometime s more efficient to throw in a load each night if you do it from home...but follow the fly lady and her babysteps will have you on a llan quick as a wink

If you haven't heard of it - check out Flylady.net. She has you create a weekly schedule similar to what you are talking about. I've been a 'somewhat' follower for years - makes a huge difference. Good luck.

I don't so much during the week. I typically get home too late to do much else beyond cooking and cleaning up dinner dishes. On the weekend we have a schedule. Saturday we wake up and go grocery shopping. Saturday is laundry and cleaning day. Works well for us :-) Good Luck :-)
I haven't watched the Duggar's "19 Kids and Counting" but I saw an interview with JimBob's mother who apparently lives with them and she said that Michelle is the most organized person you would ever know in your life, and she has a schedule that those kids follow each and everyday so no one will waste time and everything gets done. I think it is a good idea.

If you don't follow my blog on here, then here's what's up. I've started to watch my eating habits/drinking habits 11 days ago. Including today, I've been 11 days without pop and little sweets. I''m a stay at home mom to a 3 year old and 7 month old. Crazy, yes. haha. BUt worth it! Anyway, does anyone else make out a schedule like Monday is for doing laudnry, Tuesday sweep, etc? Wondering if this will help me keep the house cleaned up decently. Usually it all gets messed up then the 1 day a week my husband doesn't work I spend the whole time cleaning and watching the walking dead. heh.
