I had a very good day today and did well with my diet and made it to the gym. I decided to do the cabbage soups diet as well as Atkins Induction. I'm looking forward to losing 10 pounds in 7 days as the soup diet claims is possible. Fixed the cabbage soup today it is good but I made it too spicy (aka HOT).

Yesterday, was not such a good day, I stayed in a funk almost all day - did not eat according to plan and pretty much stayed in bed all day :(. I hope not to have any more days like that....

Yesterday was a success! I decided to get in the sauna before I had my breakfast which resulted in an immediate loss of 1.6 pounds. I drank 3 bottles of water while in there. When I got out of the sauna the fat cells remaining on my thighs were very visible more than before :(. I ate a low carb breakfast/lunch and then later yesterday I made it to the yoga class, I got there early so I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and burned 180 calories. After yoga I got back in the sauna for an hour. Afterward my thighs were smoother! YAY

I am still hanging in there. Am optimistic that today I will accomplish most if not all of my daily goals... today is Day #5 of hubby's recovery. And Day #1 for my good habits streak.

Saturday, 10/19 - Day #2 of Hubby's recovery...

Was up .6 oz from yesterday morning.

Got up about 7 a.m.
I made it to the gym and did cardio on the elliptical for 25 minutes then got in the sauna.
Read my book in the sauna and listened to a sermon
Read book for 1 hr
Read book #2 and typed notes for 1 hr
Did Dishes & Laundry
Did Prayers & Confessions

Just got back from admitting hubby into Rehab. I am optimistic that this time he will get the help he needs!

Only lost 2 oz. from yesterday -- even though I did make it to the gym. However, I couldn't sleep last night and snacked heavily right before bed :(. My breakfast and lunch today were with hubby and I fell off the low carb wagon. I will do it "right" beginning tomorrow.

Todo's:
Nap
Read Book
Pack Gym bags
Head to Gym that is open all night
Cardio, Weights, Sauna
Wash laundry
Eat only low carb if must
Wash Dishes
Straighten House
Get a good night's sleep

Started Atkins diet today! have been making it to the gym for the past couple of days with hubby and the weight is coming back down. Have been working on the house and my spiritual goals as well. Hubby is still home doing outpatient rehab that I've been taking him to as well as AA meetings so haven't been able to establish any kind of routine. But things are positive and positively looking up...

Got side-tracked and derailed :( and blind-sided by hubbies drinking again and the depression that goes along with that. Am taking him to rehab tomorrow to get him help. Hoping and planning for better days ahead for both of us!

I have been in severe pain today but still managed to get lots done. Tomorrow will be better.

(Eat no more than 30 grams of carbs (take carb blocker). {Breakfast: Bullet proof coffee, eggs/bacon or sausage, coffee with Splenda black. Lunch – shake, Low carb bar for snack – Dinner eat with hubby – small portions take carb blocker – try to cut back on carbs in my plate)

I've decided that journaling will help me to stay accountable to the goals and plans I have made for this month and going forward...

I have 12 pounds to lose and keep off and other goals I want to work on each and every day.

SPIRITUAL
To be spirit-filled & walk with God daily.
• Pray in Spirit (at least 1 hour everyday)
• Read/Study/Meditate Bible daily
• Read Christian books daily. (start with Joan Hunter’s books)
• Prayers every morning
• Good confessions every morning
• Go to Church – Sunday a.m., Sunday p.m., Monday p.m., Wednesday p.m. & Saturday p.m.
• Listen to at least 1 sermon per day (download to phone)


WIFE
To be an excellent wife.
Always have meals prepared when hubby gets home.
House always clean & chores done.
Help hubby stop drinking!...
• Do dishes daily
• Wash clothes daily
• Straighten up house daily
• Clean daily
• Plan menus/meals/grocery lists (around ads)
• Grocery shop each week (stores with cheapest prices ‘ads’)
• Cook daily


HEALTH/FITNESS
To weigh no more than 102 pounds.
To get rid of body fat and be muscular and toned.
• Go to gym daily for at least 3 hours (cardio for 45 minutes, tan, weights, sauna)
