It's been a long time since I felt determined to actually do something --- rather than feel miserable and call myself a fatso on a regular basis. So I decided to weigh myself first and then check into this website I bookmarked last year.
Coincidentally I initially began to do something about my weight in July 2012. My goal was to have lost 85 lbs by now. I was motivated for a short while and lost about 20 lbs over the next few months ... 245 down to 225 ... hit a plateau (sp?) and gave up on the whole thing. I sort'ave watched what I was eating but that's about it --- I watched what I was eating.
Last night I joined my girlfriend for her 40th class reunion. We went to the same high school and kept in touch over the years. When she came to pick me up, she got out of the care and she looked as svelte as she did at 17. Looking at her, I felt like a blob and that's what got me to come back.
I was scared to weigh myself this morning but you've got to start somewhere :) I got on the scale and yea! 205! Talk about getting a boost --- I lost 20 lbs since the last time I weighed myself.
If you've read my post this far, I want to ask for helpful hints that I could apply to my daily routine --- for instance, my Mom would always ask me to cut in half whatever I served her as a meal. She ate frequently but in very small portions each time. It seemed to work quite well for her.
