No, SMARTIN75, Omnitrition and HCG aren't the same, similar but not the same. I thought it was the same but I was informed yesterday it is different. If you are taking the Omnitrition drops and following the HCG protocol exactly, you will not lose as much weight! They've tweaked some of the allowed foods and still get amazing results.
When you go to the Omni website type in "Valerie Frye" for your independent contractor or copy link below! She is amazing and will walk you through the process! Very knowledgeable woman! You have to put in her name if you want her help, otherwise whomever you buy under will help you!
Liberate Fat my friend! (I do not want you to lose it because that tells our brain we need to find it again, I want you to liberate it and SET IT FREE!)
I did the diet for 4 months and lost over 60 pounds and had no problems. I pre made all my food and put into the freezer and vegetables into the refrigerator for the week. I started November 6 and lost 2 pounds over Thanksgiving with the carb blockers and fat blockers along with sensible eating with dessert. The diet works and the 500 calories is more than a friend eats after her weight loss surgery.
I worry now that niacin might have been in the drops but have no way of knowing. I'm told that niacin can be found in some hCG drops. Either way, that diet changed my life and caused serious problems. With the new studies talking about how scary niacin can be in larger doses, I'd caution you against taking anything with niacin. They actually had to stop a major niacin study because of the risk of death! That's crazy. We generally have our daily niacin needs met through eating each day. Anyhow, I've shared my story online and others have added their own side effect stories:
I had a number of serious side effects but the worst was that my heart was affected. A gal I knew got sucked into this diet as well and she ended up in the ER. We were just chatting one day and something I said clued her in and she asked if I had done that diet too. Her side effects were even more serious and she had problems with her kidneys. I had a gal message me this last month who is being evaluated for some sort of mini strokes as a result of this diet and I had another young gal in her 20s tell me this diet caused her heart to stop but she said she didn't know if it was the diet or the Nite Lite. It's like anything. People take illegal drugs. Some are okay and really like the effects. Others are not okay. The FDA told me that this is an illegal drug when not prescribed by a doctor so it makes sense. Had I been closely monitored and under a doctor's care during this, I suspect they would have caught my problems before they became so bad but, then again, my doctor said there is no way he would have ever approved this. Hope this helps.

I'd love to know what your side effects were. I read the book Pounds and Inches and the doctor who did the study in Italy stated there were no side effects. Today I'm starting my second round of the program and I lost 28 pounds on the first round. No side effects except very positive ones that I've experienced.
In regards to the niacin - I take a baby aspirin 1/2 an hour before taking my Nite Lite and it's warded off the harmless niacin flush.
I can't tolerate slow niacin so i never got into the omnitrition diet. a friend sells it so she has several meetings a month and has lost a lot of weight and looks amazing. I am glad i read your post as I feel obligated to try her products...
Anybody who has read my blog knows I went through a horrible time with side effects because of the Omnitriton diet. Basically, this company came about when reports started coming out about the harmful effects of Herbalife. A couple of the people just created Omnitrition with similar dangerous products. Found out the hard way.
Anyhow, took three months of recovery but am exercising again daily. I'm so excited and I'm finally feeling healthy again! My first goal is to journal my exercise here.
