Today begins protein shakes for all meals until my hubby comes back home (about one week) Air popped popcorn & crackers as needed to keep my vitamins from coming back up Every day, some form of exercise for 15 minutes
I'm so happy for you. Keep going. I know you can do it. I was reading an article about people who have WLS and lose almost nothing since they learn how to drink "sliders." One woman said she lived on milkshakes and never lost a pound. How sad to go through the surgery and then keep eating and not see any results.
You certainly are lucky to get that surgery and be able to get the weight off. I follow a woman who is 28 on YouTube and she was 276# before she had the Sleeve surgery & during the six months before the surgery she had to see a nutritionist for monthly meetings and she lost a whopping SIX pounds during that time. Since the surgery she's down 70# in 14 weeks including the 2 weeks before the surgery with the liquid diet. She now admits that she ate ALL the time and that she kept eating after she knew she was full, especially when she was out with friends having beer and pizza. I know another woman here on Sparks who had it and only dropped 40# and stopped since she said she'd figured out how to eat oreo cookies and potato chips again. She was suppose to lose another 46#.
