I just returned from a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean. I had planned to stick with my program the entire week, but I didn't. I ate way too much every day. (The ship had 4 soft serve ice cream machines scattered throughout). I did manage to get in two days of exercise and I took the stairs on the ship instead of the elevator, but I still gained 3.5 pounds.
It's amazing how much of a difference I noticed in my attitude about myself. Before leaving on the cruise, I hit the 22 pounds lost mark. Every time I saw myself in the mirror, I'd think "look how much thinner I am!" But during the cruise week, every time I saw myself, I thought "look how much weight I'm gaining."
Anyway, I'm back. I had a good breakfast and plan to get back to exercising every day this week. I'm disappointed in myself, but I'm not going to stop working hard just because of my bad choices last week.
