Change has never been easy for me and seriously when is it for anyone? My name is Shazeena and I just turned 23 about a month ago. Hitting 170lbs really knocked me off my feet and brought me to a harsh realization: what was I doing with my life? Not only did I hit my heaviest but I wasn't in school, I was being a leech to my boyfriend [Jake] and getting mad at him for trying to be independent, and ignoring my friends to spend every waking moment with Jake. Basically, I was becoming my worse nightmare! I decided then, revamp time! With Jake's recent success on graduating college with a Bachelor's in Marine Biology/Deck License I realized I needed to make a move. I enrolled into a college and started stenography classes January 28th pursuing a degree as a Court Reporter. Next up was tackling my weight and leeching issues. My leeching issue was easily fixed, by what? Realization. My weight problem however, not so easily fixed. And that's where I stand right now. I've enrolled with Sparkpeople to make a change in myself.
So far I've been tracking what I've been eating and I've been doing decent. Early this morning I was speaking with my mother and noticed something on the kitchen table. A few months back my father bought this nutritional supplement called Decarb GCX but he never used it. I picked it up and read the box, green tea extract! I remember watching a Dr. Oz show where he promoted its use in dieting and all over health. So I've started taking it and will be updating on how it works for me. It is basically a bottle of a herbal liquid that you mix with 8-12oz of water. It kind of tastes like iced-tea with a bitter end twist. Not bad to get used to. It says to drink the mixture 20 minutes before each meal so we'll see how it goes. So far I've only drank it with breakfast.
Thank you all for reading and I hope you all have a great day! If you have any questions regarding the Decarb GCX feel free to ask, I'll try to answer your questions as best I can. I'll also update my progress, as well as mood with the product since it does contain caffeine. I'll have to reread the label to see exactly how much but I know it's definitely a lot less than a cup of coffee.
