Logged in my minutes tonight and I am really happy about it.

Tomorrow it is going to be Cardio and I intend to do my jump rope routine irrespective of whichever other cardio I do. I will wake up to the jumps tomorrow and then workout to a DVD.

I ask for strength to meet all my goals tomorrow Lord.

I resumed fully to working out tonight. I enjoyed every bit of it in the sitting room, I walked away the pounds with the television on. So, I enjoyed the programme on TV and still logged my minutes in.

Going to bed now.

My right calf is terribly sore right now, I think I pulled a muscle while doing step ups yesterday. I need to rest, I also intend rubbing in some raw shea butter tonight.

I had to review my weekly routine into 3 days +/- 50 mins cardio and 3 days +/- 30 mins strength training. I hope to keep up with this and I hope it works for me without making me too tired and thus collapse into a rut as it was for 2 weeks past.

I am going higher with fresh challenges on a daily basis, I wish to always dabble into stuff I can sustain and maintain.

Keep on keeping on.

Yoga Meltdown (Level 1) by Jillian Michaels in 35 minutes. I did it and I was shaking all over, wondered if that is the way Yoga feels. Anyway, I am feeling stretched and relaxed not as much as the usual yoga as I saw in the reviews though.

I know this week is gonna be real for me.

I got stuffed yesterday as I said yesterday and today I needed to give my digestive system some rest. So I decided to fast till 3pm today before taking food, save the sugar-free gum I took in the morning. I think I ended up overeating after all again, because I desired to eat as little as I can but all in all it is still below my calorie limit for the day.

My weight is same but I think my clothes feels a little snugly today (water weight or TOM bloating). I also think my not working out is not doing me any good either, I do not intend to be skinny fat, I need to lose weight and be toned too. I will soon be out of this rut, trust me.

I am so surprised I have not been here in two days, my bad.

I am doing good with my meals and adding lots of fruits these days. Right here right now we are in the season of watermelon. I however noticed that I react to it with constipation but realizing the health benefits of watermelon I had decided to eat it everyday this week so that I can totally overcome the side effects I have with it, funny isn't it. If after one week streak, I still have constipation then I am not sure I will ever take watermelon again.

Today, for whatever reason I have decided to break the rules, ate beyond my calorie limit (right foods though) and I feel stuffed right now, (is that my normal eating???)

Another great day for me, lots of fruits too. A very busy day, put all my walking today for 35 mins (I am sure it is more than that). I decided to be busy at work today and that is exactly what I did.

TOM is on the way and I am just waiting and waiting so that I can go on with my life. I am however doing everything to make sure PMS does not catch up with me at all.

I will always win.

The end of a dull week exercise-wise for me. But I just looked back and instead of beating myself up for not working out I noted that I was active all through the week. I also did well with my calories intake and virtually no episode of overeating throughout the week.

I know it is impossible to be with SPARKPEOPLE and you will not be a winner.

And today, there is still nothing. But I think I understand where my problem lies. It is the scale again, I stealthily climbed on it Saturday morning and the numbers were not good, despite the fact I thought I had overcome this problem, I can see it taking a toll on me right now. I am eating well though but I am not working out at all (of course this is not me). What do I do now? Throw the scale away completely or weigh in after two months? I am so at a cross road, if I remember clearly though, one month is 16th of April and not 6th of April (I cheated and I am paying for it)

So I will do it again on the 16th of this month and I hope it will still not matter at all.

I cannot pick why I keep forgetting my non-scale victories, why why why???

It so sad, I may not be able to walk/jog as I desired this month. I always do it at the gym and I am little sure now that I would not be able to raise enough dough to renew my membership fee (monthly). Although I intend to ask next week if I can run on basketball court without any fee involved, if I can then my dreams of training for another 5k will be actualized.

I did post a blog this afternoon, in case you have not read it. I realized it is my non-scale victory and I am proud of it, I need to do more anyway.

I read articles on ways to eating less calories today, one of the tricks is taking your time with each meal. I realized thereafter that I normally finish my meals in less than 5 minutes, so I set a timer today for my breakfast and lunch. I did 20 mins with a 1.5 cups of oatmeal + milk and a glass of juice in the morning, I was a little irritated before I finished the meal, it became too cold for comfort and the same applies for the lunch, but I felt fuller with the reduced portion, I hope this works. I will make it a streak too.

I started an interval training with jump ropes last week and it had been so helpful for me, at least I am able to meet my jump rope challenge for April and keep fit easily.

This week it is a ratio 1:2 and we have 30 secs high intensity + 60 secs rest or low intensity (I decided to use Jump Rope for the workout, it could be jumping jacks or stationary bike too), you will stay 2 weeks on each ratio

I believe this will help get fitter and healthier.

Yet another day and it was awesome.

Started with walking lunges today and was able to do 4 solid sets, I did it at a time I was doing nothing in the house. I did it on the corridor and it was 14 reps each, and my heart rate was up at the end of it and I also broke a sweat.

Walked with Leslie this evening too, 4 miles with her was not bad at all.

I loved to be released to hug my pillows right now. I hope to get some nice sleep, tomorrow is another chance to be the best.

It is good witnessing a new month and the beginning of the second quarter of the year. With God on our side and much determination, we shall surely get there.

I already posted a blog highlighting my victories of March and plans for April, try read it by checking on my sparkpage.

I begin the day with a 3 minutes pushup test, trying to see how many I can do in a minutes and guess what? I entered the level of good i.e. greater than average and less than excellent. I am working towards excellent and on this I want to be basing my progress now and less on the scale.

Today is the end of the Month March and to say it had been awesome is an understatement. So much to celebrate including my birthday and 1000 fitness minutes achieved within the month. It is an inspiration to do that throughout the next quarter of the year and I know I can do this.

About relationship maintenance, I tried to send sparkmails to all my sp friends today although I made an initial mistake of sending in bulk and I thought it will go all singly, I will correct myself next time because every friend I made here is unique in their own way.

I could not make it with my jump rope goals for the month, there is always a tomorrow.

I was with Tony Horton for 70 awesome minutes today, was I sweaty? Yes, I glowed. Was it interesting? I enjoyed every bit of it (I think am getting used to the workout already or I am getting stronger because I did not feel it till I was almost 45 minutes in.

That is what I can call Non-Scale Victories, my fitness level had actually gone higher. I also did my Jump Rope Challenge, 10 sets of jump rope and burpees. I keep loving myself everyday.

I hope my silent readers does too?

3 solid hours on the move today, I recorded just 2 hours of walking because, there were moments of waiting and stopping completely. All in all, I walked all the way. I am yet to calculate the miles walked yet, all we did was use landmarks and time as measures. I will surely blog about this later.

I need to say this, there is going to be a long walk tomorrow and I am intending to partake in it. I will try to explain it, hoping you will understand it.

Every year a week before Easter Sunday, we imitate the Triumphant Entry holding cloths and palm fronds as a sign of honour for our Lord Jesus Christ. It is used as a form of evangelism too. The last time I did partake in this tradition was my childhood days but I am determined to do it tomorrow and to also go all the way, I was told it is always a long way walking and dancing all the way.

In preparation for the walk:

Good shoes, my water bottle, snacks and a hand towel (if you are reading this, tell me what else to take along with me).

When I come back tomorrow, I will log in the miles.

A good day, an active day for me, though morale is rather low these past 2 days but I am trying my best and eating well.

I have been having allergies and I don't know what is causing it but it keeps coming always. I use some herbal supplements but I seems not to associate it together yet. I should be finishing with it soon.

For the records, just did 30 minutes with Billy Blanks in Ultimate Bootcamp Training. That is a hell of a workout, so sweaty and glowing in it, I could not finish the whole 54 minutes. I will try that on another day.

Seriously contemplating on working out tonight. I just watched an exercise video, quite intensive and I just want to try it out and see what it makes out of me, lol. It is called "Ultimate Bootcamp Training" by Billy Blanks. I am going to try 27 minutes out of the 54 minutes workout.

More badges to my workout clothes.

Today is rest day, active rest though. Stretching and jump rope as a form of flexibility training. Sunday was nice in church today and had visitors in the house also. I have not made up my mind with tomorrow workout but I will surely do so before sleeping tonight.

I weighed in at 76.3kg this morning and am not stepping on the scale again till a month, hopefully. I should re-start my food tracking tonight too. I had not tracked in a week.

I think my stability ball is too big for me, could not manage it at all today, it was just not stable.

I just weighed in now at 76.3kg, my next weigh in will be in a month's time God's willing. To get me focused about the scale, I intend to remove the battery from it right now.
