Darling husband videoed my ride on Fri. WOW...my big tub of lard fills the entire saddle...all belly. Now is the time to pick up the plod to a steady working trot. O.M.G.

Thanks, I will watch that. I have had diabetes since...like...forever. Since I was 19. I was 125 pounds and very active. It's called MODY..maturity onset diabetes of the young. So sugar and 'fast' carbs have been out of my diet for a long time.

In fact I love my diet foods and have no problem eating right. My problem comes from getting tired and not preparing my meals properly and then just grabbing...whatever is handy. Or ordering pizza. The key to my success is to always have the right foods available. Only then can I have the determination to say no to my 'would rather haves'.

I haven't made an entry in my journal in such a long time that I couldn't even find it.

So far, I've kept off the weight I've lost...for almost 2 years now. Unfortunately I was only about 1/2 way to my goal. Every day I say TODAY IS DAY ONE...and then screw it up around 4 because I get tired and unfocused. So, once again, today is the day I stay focused and determined.

I've prepared my lunch and done the prep work for supper. A big step towards success...for me!
