emoticon Everyday is a new day. Even if you get off track today, make a pledge to yourself to go back on track in the morning. Everyone has a bad day now and again. Hope you're still enjoying SP. emoticon

Walk and run to the best you you can be.

Thank you for the tips and encouragement. I am on vacation from work this week and using this time to 're-organize' and relax. Working out then sitting by the pool and reading and re-figuring my diet.

I would recommend getting some sunlight... so go take a walk. Sunlight causes a release of certain neurochemicals like serotonin, which will lift your spirits. Low levels of serotonin can result in irritability, lack of sleep and weight gain. That's a first big step. Other stuff will follow; for example, that walk will release other neurochemicals that will boost your brain power (ie. motivation). So get your bum outside and enjoy some emoticon

You are certainly at the right place, so that is good. Just back off and give yourself only ONE goal and do that and finish it. Something like "make my food for the day" and then eat NOTHING else but what you set yourself up to eat. Those small successes add up.
I have to do ATKINS in order to drop as my age makes it so difficult for me to lose, but what matters is that you don't quit.

Set lots of specific goals (they don't have to be about weight loss), hang up reminders everywhere, find a buddy, and journal, journal, journal. I've struggled with this a lot in my past, and recently I found if you just do the cheesy things, they really work. Let me know if you want to talk!

After a week of not feeling good and not sleeping I have really let myself slip. I know what I should be doing but it is just not happening. I get so mad at myself and feel so guilty the next day for eating so much or not working out. I don't know what happened to my motivation, even right now as I am typing, I feel tired and unmotivated and am almost 'don't care' attitude and I know I will regret it. WHAT SHOULD I DO???
