Good morning and happy monday ladies, It's great to see all the weekend activity here. Mum I had a spanish lunch yesterday-made black beans and rice, fried plantain, pork and corn and salad--) Ate mine in two sitting as is my new custom to ensure I am not over eating. Today is the beginning of phase 2 of my 30/30/0-where I add in meals, not only watching caloric intake but also making sure I get enough food and the right types in me. I did exercise everyday this week so I am happy about that. Now time to get the gourmet me going-everyday for 30 days I will eat 3 meals and 3 snacks and not eat after 9 pm. Well that's all folks, Enjoy your Monday( I swear the prefix Mon in my head means brand new-chance to start all over or make a brand new commitment to ourselves.) Blessings,

I had the kind of weekend that makes you ask: Why me? I am happy for opportunities to serve, but sometimes, there seems to be so much. In a way, I think that it is better to have choice than to seem to be left out. I send out a special "shout out" to the sistas who may think that you have been forgotten. Really, sistas; we ALL love you, care for you, and wish the best for you and yours. Take those opportunities, love yourself, love your family, keep your community and all of its goodness close to your heart.

Mum I just about heard your voice in that post about sleep-it is awesome! But 8 or 9 huh? Wow you must get out there really early. As a non morning person I get it-trust me-lol So yesterday I pushed to get in a workout to keep my 30/30/0 promise to myself(30 days/30 minutes/0 alcohol) so far I'm on day 6 and I woke up this morning and did Zumba and a run+walk. I am loving this weekend sobriety and exercise, I feel like a brand new person. Enjoy your weekend ladies! Lov

This late sleeping is more blissful because it does not happen often, so when it does, I am in bliss. Good day beautiful people, Insh8p welcome, it's great to have you here:) Wow Inspire great job-or as we Jamaicans say-yuh ting tun up-try saying that one out loud- Well the sun is shining here in the GTA and inside my soul. I love what meditation isdoing for my mind-so awesome. Thanks for sharing your habits it's good to help us see that they are not as overwhelming as we thought and to take it one step at a time. So what makes your day great? What I mean is have you ever figured out a particular routine that makes your morning blissful-mine is: Wake-affirmation-meditate-yoga/stretch-juice(fruit+veggie blend) read or listen to something inspirational and then start my day. Now to be consistently in bliss-lol. Here's my daily affirmation-I wrote it after listening to various wellness coaches describe the importance of them: " All the air I breathe is pure. My body, mind, spirit and relationships are fit, whole, healthy, prosperous and profitable. And I breathe life into everyone and everything that I come into contact with today and always." Have a blissful day ladies.

hello. My nagging habit is coffee from starbucks. I spend sometime sixty to a hundred dollars a month there. I'm trying to cut down to once a week maybe twice. Although i buy coffee at home. Its just not the same.

I'm reading a book with a similar theme by Joel Osteen. He tells us to have faith, just believe, and don't let others tell us we cannot do something. Once we believe, one day we will conquer and our opportunities will become reality. We just have to believe and have faith. This book has given me a bit of a different outlook so far. I don't worry as much about things and something worrying I now say God I am placing this in your hands. I tend to start books and don't get to go back to them but this one, I am engaged and want to finish. Lunch today is homemade soup and exercise was Leslie Sansone Walk away the Pounds.

Hiyah angels, Another day another chance-man I'm reading this book that is transforming even the way I dream, it's called: The Success Principles-How to Get From Where you are to where you want to be.It's by Jack Canfield the author of the chicken soup for the soul series. Ladies I kid you not everything in our lives can change for the better-everything, we were just trained not to believe in the desires of our hearts! From the time our parents said: Don't be silly love, you won't make any money doing that! or any such thing in our past has involuntarily taught us to doubt what we want and if we deserve them. There is so much I could say about this wave of thinking but I won't ramble. There is so much knowledge and education out there to help us grow and change and become the true us it's amazing. Hello everybody! Good to hear we all are doing something positive. I posted my journel and personal journel I have at home daily. Helps me a great deal, to track what I eat, my mood, my cravings, and whatever. I still have downfall but not as much like about 2 weeks ago. I feel better and my clothing are getting looser! Still go to the gym nightly except Wedenesday because that is my prayer night. Everyday is a challenge for me!

I subscribe to Gaiamtv.com where I get alot of mind altering inspiration via books and videos and tons of exercise access-it's 9.99 per month-just another reference for those interested. Inspire, transition is hard. I always say to myself, this is a lifetime change, I will have to live this way for the rest of my life. Sometimes I just don't want to be bothered to be good, but then I think of the downward spiral that always takes me on. I tend to be really disciplined for a few weeks and then just like that BAM! I'm bingeing-sigh. So I know how it feels but we can do this-together we can seriously change our lives-just think, next year this time you can celebrate another anniversary of getting better-not being perfect-just becoming better-how awesome. You are way ahead of the people not trying---) Lov

Hello everyone. Hope your having a great weekend. Yesterday i broke down and weight in. I had been avoiding the scale for months. The reason why is because I knew my bad eating had caught up with me. Plus I thought by exercising I would be great. WRONG. I have gained just about all my weight back except eight pounds. So i know what I have to do. Eat right. Most of all be accountable for what I put in my mouth.

Hey ladies: Have been MIA a bit from the forum as my internet has been down. Still struggling a bit with my eating and trying to get exercise back on track. Good goals Inspire and Lovin, my main goal is to lose weight. I have to work out the number etc. but I know that I will set myself mini goals like a certain number of pounds by summer etc. The norm seems to be recommiting yourself all the time to healthy eating and exercise but if it's the norm, we have to do it. We have to recommit ourselves.Let's make March another recommitment month. Have a good weekend.

So I finally printed my manuscript for Balancing Acts--it's been done since December but I've been afraid of the process of editing-ugh! Any brainiacs here wanna give it a go? Intercessory and Warfare prayers are part of my Ministry about 8 years. God miraculous has answer prayers. I know I served a Living God that want to do mighty things in our lives. Fasting often. Good Morning everyone today is day number two of me tracking my food intake. This is very challenging because for what ever reason I don't want to write it down. I guess its denial. If i dent write I will remain in denial on what I'm eating. However my old ways hasn't worked so i definitely got to try a new approach. Wish me luck. Have a great day.

Hello everyone. thanks lovin. My goals are 1. get my online lingerie business going. 2. Loose 60 pounds by December 31 by exercising 6 times a week for ninety minutes and cutting back on sugar. 3. Pay off some old debt. 4. run my first 5k 5. Complete the St.louis ruckus within the allotted time. last year was my first obstacle race. I came in last however i walked and completed 18 of the 20 obstacles.

Hello lovelies, Checking in to say whaddup! Inspire that's awesome-I can remember when you were only thinking about running now look at you making strides!! What wonderful improvement!!!!! So I'm about to go start my c25k training I signed up also, but this year I will do a 5k , a 10k and hopefully an adventure race in June-I have to be training for something to keep consistent. Depending on how I do with this spring to summer I might be able to do one in October, that will keep me training almost all year. What are your goals this year fitness or otherwise? Some of mine for example include: 1.getting to my goal weight( via 5-6 workouts weekly and eating clean) 2. Saving $5000 3. Invest in a food business in the caribbean 4. get my book-Balancing Acts- published by June 2013 Let me know some of yours if not too personal:) Lov

Don't the same battles everyday, the same circular thoughts get really old? I need a new brain.. I don't want to recommit everyday.. I want it to just be the norm.. Maybe the norm IS recommitting everyday? Rhetorical questions...
