Hey everyone,
I am extremely sore from yesterday. I did my 5 am class, my 4 pm class and my 5:30 class. I was almost too tired to eat dinner. Today is a day of rest. Tomorrow, if weather permits, I will have 3 classes again. We are supposed to receive 8 to 12 inches of snow. This will be our first big storm. Depending on how it comes down will depend on whether I will leave the house to work out. I may have to use my WII system.

Hey Guys,
Inspire well done planning to exercise despite the weather. Do you feel lately like once you don't eat well you should be seeing the effects? Funny I know but I feel like that everytime I stray from the path.
My plan is get more consistent-always my problem. So I'm tracking each day for the next 4 weeks, at least 30 minutes(a total of 20 days to March 8).
Here's my tracker:
Day 1: 60 mins

Philosophy: Love unconditionally, laugh heartily, live well and purposefully and learn each step of the way.

hello everyone. well i have to admit i didnt do sweets. I ate fruit yet i still over did it. My best friend mother made home made soup. It was delicios. That was bad because it was made with fresh veggies and beef. However she made something I never heard of before a potaoe pizza. I ate a slice along with bake beans and wings. Yet baked wings. So i basicially took in alot of calories. I am exercising at home. We got snow and exspecting 6 more inches on top of our 4. So I am homebound. Oh well exercis dvds will be it.

Hey guys,
sorry i vented then left, I was busy making some changes to my upstairs area again!! as the whole incident with my mom means I'm back on daycare and homeschool duties. Nevertheless I did eat some fried wings and fries but i am happy to report that my body does not appreciate it and I get very uncomfortable.
I'm about to go do my p90x as hubby has taken the boy sto taekwando and I'm alone:) TG, I'm never alone and when I am I usually work. Today I do p90x-yeah!!
As for my mom she's at my sister's(who lives close to her former home) trying to find an apartment. I decided over the weekend after serious contemplation to just say I don't wish to talk about it as she's going to continue being my bsn assistant, and will need to live with me during the week. Sometimes it's best to be quiet inside and out.
Gotta go start..........goals-same as last week, tracking food added this week. Will start tomorrow.

I agree with Sara, Inspire, you have to go prepared. My trainer said to me today that I look like I did not eat well over the weekend. I said to him how do you mean? He then said-tell me what you ate at all your meals on Sunday and I told him. He said to me he could tell. I actually ate some form of carbohydrate at each meal yesterday includding dinner. He said I looked bloated, and not like before. He told me that wheat and yeast bloats you up and makes you quite flatulent. he told me that though all the carbs were good in terms of whole wheat I still ate too many. I do not need to have carbs at every meal. I was a bit downtrodden but not for long. it just means that I need to become even more focused on my meals and carb intake and limit my carbs to once a day my trainer said. On we go!!!!

I decided to bake some chicken wings and pour bbq sauce over them. I am also making hot wings for everyone. My wings has no sauce and there will be salad there. I have learned and actually like salad without dressing.

I would take small bags of my own snacks. I would also try and make something good and veggie for myself. So I could be there and enjoy everyone but not eat the bad food. I would eat before I leave the house too.
Thanks for the compliment. I like to cook and this journey has challenged me to come up with recipes that taste good but are also goood for my body.

Today is super bowl sunday. Not that i am a football fan. i usually go hangout with friends and eat. Now today is a challenge. i am making bake beans and bbq chicken wings. I am trying to come up with a stategy to keep from over doing it. My friend home that the party is at is always its ok one day isnt going to hurt. Except she say this daily and is very over weight. Complains about it however will eat thre over flowing plates. I don't want to do that and don't want to hurt her feelings any suggestions?

Sara you are a woman of many talents. Today I was tired i rest and ate a couple slices of pizza and watched tv. then I realized I was heading for a depresed state of mind I got up and went out. i just did a little shopping nothing major. But it beat me eating my blues a way.

Sorry I was out of the office at a meeting in Lansing today. Anyway, I feel good. I worked out yesterday. I did 2 classes. Today was a rest day and then tomorrow I will do at least 1 class.

Thanks for the compliment. I made something new that you might like. I made a huge shrimp and veggie salad. I used frozen corn and peas. I also steamed broccoli. I then sauteed onions, carrots, and celery. I combined with lettuce. I cut the rind from two oranges and sliced for the salad. I used frozen shrimp which I cooked in low sodium vegetable broth. I tossed it all together with vinegar, lemon juice and oil. Salt and pepper to taste. I like it because it is very fresh.

Hi everyone. Happy friday. Yes i am in the land of living. LOL. i went to bootcamp today. She tries to kill you. wednsday I was laying on the floor panting for air. When I noticed I was the only one. I laughed and said i guess only fat people get short of air after this class. Due to i am the only really over weight person in class. Oh well. It doesn't stop me. i was back today for more. I did 60 minutes of circuit training.I feel iteven when i try to type.
Lovin sorry about your mom. I will be praying for her. I understand when you say they have trust. Mom does it with my two brothers who is 41and 40 by the way still live at home.Go out for a walk or spend time with hubby. This to will pass.
New mum enjoy your class and the evil one. I to have an evil one. she is 5 feet and weight 100 pounds on a good day.

VENT, VENT LOVIN, as much you want but please do not eat the greasy stuff, come on!!!!take a walk, go out and do something nice with hubby, exercise, but do not allow this to take your momentum away. I know it is your mum and it will affect you but do not let it kill your spirit. Talk to your sis and let her know how you feel, when you tell her, you will feel much better. I am sorry you are going through this, here's a hug emoticon

My class yesterday was interesting to say the least, the instructor kept saying "oh I need to get back into it" I was thinking you are supposed to be motivating us, this is NOT the way!!!
I did 40 mins cardio today and 30 mins training arms and legs-that 'evil one' I tell you......He (the evil one) is going to Trinidad for Carnival and he is all excited!!!Inspire, how are you?Sara, my personal chef, how are you? Ok wish me luck with all the stuff I have to do this weekend.

Hey guys,
Tired and stressed today. Too much damned drama.
Mum your class sounds..ah..interesting..lol
As for my mom and her house, she left it upp to my oldest sister to take care of. They have the house together but they bought it on my sister's name. She was to retire and live there but my sister just never moved out. She's been engaged to this blood sucker for over 5 yrs and all she does is give him her money. Her kids are locked up(rebellion) and she took all the equity out of the house to give to him to promote some stage show(not to bail her kids) Lord knows I could just slap some sense into her but my mom is all into this family can do no wrong crap. it's so frustrating to watch. Now mama gonna have to live here(not necessarily a problem) but my stepdad is a major pain to live with(sigh). Plus I told her to check into alot of the stuff that didn't make sense before, but she had all confidence in her child who has now disgraced and broken her heart.
I guess I'm more frustrated and irritated at my mom for letting it get to this and also my sister for being such an ass.
Sorry for t he vent on a Friday-just plain miserable today I guess. Plus I spent all yesterday dealing with legal issues when I should be teaching my children-I so do not have time for all this drama.(hmph)
Now I move on I guess- hoping to get som ewii fit in today some how. Been binging on greasy food to quell emotioinal issues(does not work-just gives bellyache and gas) lol.

I did an aerobics class yesterday but the instructor seemed a bit unfit and tired and the music kept stopping. funny right? Anyway I still tried to enjoy the class. This weekend I have a few things to do, have a dinner to attend on sat. night with hubby but mainly it will be spending time with him and the boys. have a great weekend whatever you do, love, nM

Quick check in-I love the ideas of how to make hubby pay lol.
Sara sorry you had that episode this morning it will go away all together. Your rice recipe sounds exactly like the one I make. Also Mum check out sparkrecipes.com and allrecipes.com-loads of great stuff with calorie count. Also add low sod stock, canned tomatoes and some taco seasonings and you have spanish rice.

Man it seems this is the yr for drama-my brother in Jamaica got mugged and beaten at the start of the yr. And today my mom got locked ou tof her house because of my sister and her parasitic man. My poor mom is now out of a job,on disability and now she has to put up with losing her house!!!!! Gosh I feel so bad for her.
Anyway still plodding on regardless of the drama.

I cook it in low sodium chicken broth instead of water. That tends to add a lot of flavor. I then take a can of beans, rinse the beans, sauteed mushrooms and onions, a can of stewed tomatoes. Mix it all with the rice. I then will add seasonings that I like. It makes a healthy side dish or a veggie main dish.

Oh ok, good thing your body is regulating your blood pressure better. Your body is healthier so it is regulating your pressure better. Well I had a pretty good rest last night, woke up early. Will be doing an aerobics class this evening at the gym, I really enjoy aerobics. I am trying to find an exciting way to cook brown rice because hubby is not fond of it at all, any ideas?

Thanks Mum. Low blood pressure is just as bad as high. But it just means that my body is regulating my blood pressure better. The meds are getting less useful.
Yes I am proud of my friend. I just miss him terribly. When we talk he usually extremely tired.

Sara, I am happy too. Sorry about the drama but glad it was not worse. Once the adjusted meds are done, it should be ok. But I think this type of pressure, though low, is better than the other type right? I know you must miss your friend but he is doing something for a worthwhile cause which just shows what a good person he is. Night night, going to bed now, Joshie my 2 year old just fell off to sleep before I came online. My walking this evening was fun, now I am exhausted....nM

I agree with Mum. All that rearranging maybe making you lose weight. Plus you guys make it work in the bedroom. You really could lose quite a bit. LOL
Mum,
My pilot friend is busy. He is flying people in and out of Haiti. He has experience flying in and out of small airfields. We talk online mostly. I miss talking to him because we talk about once a week.
I make a greek style dip with english or seedless cucumbers, and nonfat yogurt. I use my food processor and shred 1 cucumber. I combine the yogurt and cucumbers. I season to taste. This depends on what I feel like. For example, I may add garlic powder, chili powder and cinnamon. I sometimes add italian seasonings and kosher salt. I use this to put on lettuce for wraps, tortillas for sandwiches or to dip crackers.
I had some drama this morning. I worked out at 5 am. But at the end of the workout, I began to feel dizzy and naseaous. I went to the locker room and tried to relax so I could drive home. I got home. I took my blood pressure and it was 80/50. I know it was lower at the gym. I waited to take my meds until after my pressure went up. But I called the doctor and he wanted me to come in right away. He is extremely happy with me. He is adjusting more meds for me.

lol, lol, Lovin, 'on his lovely caramel neck', I was cracking up.....don't worry 30 mins is better than nothing and you will have next week to catch up, also rearranging may be shedding a few pounds too so see the bright side. If hubby is making you work now, make him work in the bedroom if you know what I mean......hmmmmmm!!!!!Both of you will definitely win there!!!

Mum yes i might just. Sara girl that sounds scrumptious-gonna try this weekend.
Inspire-yeah!!! it has happened you have been converted to a health food nut-YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for me no gym this week so here's what I did yesterday:
Did 30 mins(not even close to the 2 hrs predicted as hubby is driving me nuts with these home projects-hmph)
will reset goals for this week to reflect this madness. Here goes:
Exercise: 4 days @30 mins
water: 8 cups
vitamins: 1/day(changing to reflect my abilities:)
sleep-7hrs/night
PG:4 nightly meditation rituals
Let's hope I can take the time to do this. Or I'll have to put my foot down on his lovely caramel neck-lol

Hello everyone. i don't have a healthy snake I make. however fruit is my fravorite snack. especially pears. i love starbucks. i have learn to make my drinks skinny. i get skim milk instead of 2%no whip and a short drink. Now I know your wondering what is a short drink. it is a 8oz cup. you have to ask for short because they carry tall, grande and venti. all packed with sugar and calories.
Today I had a meeting. The menue was fast eddies fried chicken. This chicken is suppose to be the best. Well this was my first time and last time eating it. I guest you can say i played with it. My napkin was soaked with grease. Enough I said to fry another chicken. After pulling off the skin and eating one pulled peace. i was like no. i cant do this. Now the old me would of ate it like no tomoorow. However fried foods are becoming low on my list. I become nauaseated when eating it.

Mum,
I eat clean for the most part. I make my own trail mix. I take 1/4 cup nuts, 2 TBSP dried fruit, and 1 TBSP dark chocolate. Another snack is my own baked tortilla chips and guacamole. I take low sodium and or veggie tortillas. I cut them into wedges. I take a cookie sheet and light spray with oil. Put the wedges on the cookie sheet and bake for 20 min until golden on 400. I take 2 to 4 avacados and scoop out the meat part or fruit part. I don't know exactly what the soft inside is called. Then I get nonfat plain yogurt and I put 2 TBSPs into the bowl with the avacado. I finely chop 1/4 cup onion. I zest and juice 1 lime. Mash everything together. Season to taste. I like my my guacamole very creamy.

hmmmm sounds good Lovin, your snack, I love activia yogurt!!! will try it. Seems like you will soon have an evil one too, lol....
I do not have a fav snack but I do love to snack on fruits especially pears. My snacks today are 1 apple, 1 pear, 1 special k bar (only 90 calories and 9g of sugar). Have to start using brown rice and almond milk to get really clean-small steps-huge changes!

Hiyah life changers,
It's good to see all your goals and know that this year we are changing our lives. Inspire Mum is right nothing like a sore butt to know it's getting smaller-just think how much worse it woul be if it was lipo or surgery-lol

Mum I do both-I work out at home(with p90x) and other videos and I also go to the gym about 2x for the week. I am also thinking of reemploying my trainer.
As for eating clean-my favourite snack is 1/2 cup fibre one, 1-2 tbsp nuts chopped with activia(so goooood)
Last nigh I had mild mash(less butter, low fat milk) with extra lean grn beef salisbury steak and cauliflower.
It was excellent for under 500.
Come on guys let's do this!!!
Today I go to the gym-so might be doing 2 hrs(need to make up for yesterday anyway)

Inspire, a sore butt is a good butt.....lol, loll, sounds strange right? I made some oven roasted veggies on Sunday from a recipe I found in the Eat Clean Diet cookbook by Tosca Reno. Good Morning Ladies. I agree New Mum the early bird catches the worm. My Mom is doing great. she just need to take it easy. Don't listen to her mentally ill sister who wants to eat Mcdonalds every freaking day and chinesse food the others. She had done great by not cutting that junk out oh well what can i say.
Yesterday i went to bootcamp. I must say my but is sore. I worked muscles i didn't know exist (LOL). However I am pleased that I am getting a good workout. Lets set some challenges for this month? Any ideals? have a wonderful and healthy day.

Inspire I am sorry to hear about your mom. I hope she'll be ok. It's so sad when people make the choices they do and then we get to worry about them!!(sigh)Please take good care of yourself regardless of the things happening around you. Who knows better, should do better-so show them maybe they will eventually live it too.

Mum girl you have me chuckling with this 'evil one' business-it gets me everytime. I love your energy-KEEP IT UP-Yeah!!!

Sara-schedule your vacation for when mr Pilot/army guy(wait!! you get 2 hot careers wrapped up in one man-ohhh lala-lol) Girl it's good that you're doing your thing, maybe your ww partner will finally catch on-some people take longer. Just make sure you keep going so you can be a great example.
Here are my stats from last week:
Monday-90mins
Tuesday-45mins
Wednesday -60 mins
Thursday -60 mins
Friday-0mins
Saturday-30 mins

Most days I drank my full quota of water and vitamins.
I weighed in but still not down to 155(hmph. Will change ticker when I get there.)

As for this week Jan 31- Feb 6 (week 3-thus goals from last 2 weeks plus 1)

Exercise-90 mins*5 days this week
Take 3 vitamins per day
Drink 8 glasses h20
Get 7 hours min sleep( ie get to bed by 11:30pm)
PG- do yoga@least 3 times this wk
Well People let's break up these plateaus and get moving down that scale!!!

I went to my first 5:15 am class. There were only 2 of us in the class. She says she is running the class anyway. Her boss feels that it will catch on. It is late here and I am still at work. I'll be here for another hour or so. I hate registration.

Inspire, sorry to hear about your mum. I hope she is doing ok now, let us know. Just pick back up on Monday and you will be fine. Life gets in the way I always say of a schedule or of exercie or healthy eating, we just need to keep going. Yes these diseases are something else, they know no colour, class, age, nothing....we have to try and help ourselves live longer.I am back to work this week, lots to do at home and work...giving thanks anyway.nM

I am sorry to hear about your mother's stroke. Yes people don't realize that these diseases don't automatically kill you. Sometimes you are dying a slow death for many many years. I too enjoy my classes now more than my walks. In every class there is something to be challenged by. Then I see different muscles beginning to develop.
Newmum,
You are right about a vacation. I don't know when I'll take it. My ww partner sees my weightloss. She is frustrated because she hasn't found yet the way to sustain it. I think in the beginning she loses some. Then all the stuff gets in the way. She has a membership at the Y in our area. But she isn't happy with the times and how their classes are. Her brother-in-law is a member of our city's council. She knows that the free rec center has more classes. But because it is older and doesn't have the latest equipment she won't use it. She drives further and is more dissatisfied with the new facility. Plus she pays alot of money for the membership because that Y is in a neighboring city.

Hi ladies. welocome to the new comers. I know you will enjoy this group. I have been Mia because of comupter virus then my mom had a stroke on tuesday. So all week i was consumed with making sure she was ok. I hate this happen. However it was awake up call. My family love mcdonald and any other greasy foods you can find. My aunt motto is that your going to die of something. True. However I want to live along healthy life. Not one ridden with illness that i could help prevent. I see it a lot people have strokes and be disable for years. I don't want to live like that. For as work out. i only did one day of bootcamp last week. Will return at 545am Monday. I love my classes. More than I do walking. Have awonderful weekend.

Just keep encouraging her, Sara, once she sees your progress too, that will be motivation enough, you need a vacation btw....lol, you are working crazy. Well I got in 47 minutes today hubby and i walked and jogged, it was good. So I managed 4 days this week, did not get my 5 days but I will take it. This week my main goal is to limit my carbs, hope I have a good week, have an awesome Sunday, we are STILL DOING THIS...COME ON, COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My ww partner makes the excuse of family and kids stuff get in her way. She says she does it at home. She said she was losing fine until her doctor took her off a cholesterol medication.I believe the medication made it easier to lose weight. But I think she doesn't get in the exercise that she needs to. But this class that is developing for work is going to start at the end of next week. I think she may join us. The instructor is awesome. I am looking forward to it.

Jeez your schedules are murderous. Sara and Newmum congrats on fitting those workouts in. Inspire girl we miss you, hope all is well with u. Mum thanks for the encouragement. Sara you should encourage your girl to work out, it's a formula and if there are parts missing it won't work.
Okay so this week I did 4 days so far hoping to do another today but might not happen. Party today, so lots of fine tuning to do.

Hello guys,
I have been on an intense seminar this week and literally did not get to post, even at nights as I was so tired, anyway I have been still at it, exercised 3 days so far in spite of not feeling 100% on Tuesday and Wednesday, drank my water but did not get my vitamins in. Sara hope you get to exercise more next week but I know how work gets sometimes.Continue to encourage your ww partner, Lovin, your slamming girl and no, you did not scare us off, your enthusiam is great, keep it up, My seminar was very practical so there was always something to prepare for the next day, it was good though. Have a good weekend.

Hi Ladies,

I am still recovering from yesterday. I worked until 10:40 last night and then came in here at 9:30 in the morning. Everyone here says they are amazed at how small I have become. I told them I have 70 to 90 more pounds to lose. The doctor wants me to lose the 90. If I lose the 70, I will be extremely hapy with myself. Exercise has been just twice this week. Next week I hope I will be able to exercise more. But I will still have these marathon days at least in the beginning of the week.
My weight watchers partner is giving up. She hasn't been losing weight very much. Her doctor has her on a medication that makes it difficult for heer to lose. Plus she never exercises. At my job we are starting a program for after work. I am trying to talk her into coming. I told her this would be a good start for her to try exercise.

Hey ladies,
Just checking in before I head to bed. Hi Pandazones welcome:) I mentioned I was going to a b uffet for my son's bday. I used to enjoy a good buffet, but now i end up "sweating it" as Sara said.
I'm not worried Sara, I just know it's one of the things on this journey i haven't conquered-YET-haha
lol.
I did do a 90 min workout, ate 5 meals, took 3 vitamins and drank 7 cups of water. I am missing 1 cup. But in order to fulfil a PG I am off to get some rest cause I am crusty and tired.
Seriously ladies I need some TLC but that's another goal(yawning 4 real lol)

Hey Ladies,
Man it's too quiet here. Hey Sara- GL today those long hrs can be killer. It's good that you are getting in your exercise without even trying lol.
And congrats on the clothes fitting, you know you're getting toned.
So ladies where are you guys, we have a challenge running for health's sakes. C'mon.
NE way yesterday I did 90 mins-(30 mins only on plyometrics p90x-man i was panting, it was rough)
After I did 60mins on the tread. I also ate well, drank 10 cups of water, and took 2of 3 vitamins.
I weighed this morning and wasn't pleased but we'll see on Sat.
I have to go to an Italian buffet on Sat for my ds birthday-ugh! It used to be one of my fave places but I'm not so psyched about it now. Either way this weekend might not reflect all my hard work.(I hope beyond all hope that I will do the right thing-always a problem at these places.

Today's plan:
Workout-90mins(belly dance, abs,yoga)
H20-9 cups+1 cup coffee
Vitamins-3
PG-drink 1 cup coffee only,do some meditation today(did some on Tuesday and i was so blissful it seemed like i was drunk-lol)

Mum how's your week going? Inspire how's the ww and all those classes? I really hope it's going well.
Here's a little tip i read in Fitness magazine on what to wear to be smoking at the gym:

If you are pear shaped wear a light coloured top +flared pants to balance out your shape. And do not wear pants with stripes down the side.

If you are rectangular-create curves with tops that have ruching along the sides and pants that have a splash of colour on the hips. Do not wear one color from head to toe.

If you are an hourglass then wear tops with v or scooped neck+detail near your mid to show your flat stomach, skorts or shorts are great bottoms. Do not wear high neck or loose fitting clothes.

If you are an apple shape-wear a loose top that ties or cinches to define mid and hide tummy.capris or tights are great bottoms.
Do not wear flared bottoms.
Now there you go, you can look cute while stacking your way to a phenomenal body. emoticon

Sorry about being MIA. I am working now the crazy hours. The best thing about working all these hours is that the room I am located in I must walk to the other part of the building quite often. So I am getting in some exercise. the bad problem about working all these hours is that it is hard to unwind at night. Tomorrow is going to be worse because I have to administer a GED test and it is 5 hours in addition to my work hours. So I will be working tomorrow 10:30 am to around 10:30 pm. I don't expect any weight loss this week. I haven't been able to really work out.

However something must be happening because I put on a skirt yesterday that I bought in late November. When I bought it I couldn't zip it up all the way. It was really tight but it so cute i wore it anyway. Well yesterday I was able to wear it comfortably. Also a sweater I bought was tight and now it is loose.
Ladies, I know I get frustrated but the reality my situation is that I must continue. I really want to not have the threat of high blood pressure. It is the stalker in our community. I have found the only weapons that beat it are diet and exercise. I think some marketing company needs to make a commercial like that. Have the evil high bllod pressure in the black cape and the exercise, healthy foods, water, and meds as the weapons that a person can have at their disposal.

Okay final report for the day:

Just finished my run and then 15 minutes walk. So I have completed 90 minutes today( though I still feel like I didn't work at highest level of exertion-sp)
Will try harder tomorrow.
So far today i have also eaten well, taken all 3 vitamins-yes!!! and also drank 7 glasses of h20(will add 2 extra for 2 cups of coffee).
As for my personal goals PG- I have had a low carb meal and done yoga.
GL guys, this will be fun.

Lovin, thanks. Good luck to you too with the challenges. Sara, I am sorry about the weight gained back, just examine closely what you were doing when you lost the 3 lbs and go from there. It can be very frustrating especially when working as hard as you are working but do not give up. Sometimes thoughts come into head and I question whether I can really do this, will it last? But I just think miche you are doing it, jus keep going each day at a time. I posted my challenges for this week on the blog yesterday Lovin. Also Lovin, congrats on the weight loss, great job. Welcome to all of the new people that have joined us. I worked out yesterday and today. I did a biggest loser session and 1/2 yoga session yesterday. Today I did cardio interval. Tomoorow I can't work out. I will be at work from 10 am to probably 9 or 9:30 at night. I am struggling again with 3 lbs. I lose 3 lbs and then gain those same 3 lbs. My body can be so frustrating.

Welcome Misscnj and Moniee2, we are glad to have you, all you need to do Moniee2 is to post, we talk about any and everything but especially weight loss and our goals, we are all doing really well so far for the new year and we WILL keep it up. I am not a DVD exerciser so someone else may have to answer you. I know Shape magazine has a program with DVD workouts, also our own Coach Nicole on SP has a number of videos with exercises that you can do.
Mscnnj it is always great to work out with the kids, I have a 2 yr old and a 6 mth old and I take them walking once a week in the stoller, they love it and so do I especaiily my 2 yr old who loves the outdoors.

Good Morning All,

I am new to the group, what do I need to do?? I did the bootcamp for today & plan on getting in a little bit of walking with WATP - by Leslie Sansone. Does anyone have other suggestions on DVDs' I can use at home that are not too difficult??

Hi everyone. sorry for the absence I got an virus on my computer. The anti live virus. the one that keeps saying your computer is infected but it isn't then direct you to all crazy crap. Started boot camp. I am still sore. But will be back on Monday morning at 5:45am. I am seeing my clothes get looser. o weight loss. Welcome shimmy. You will find that everyone here is very supportive.I am walking 45 minute to an hour today. No exercise yesterday. enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Hello all!

I am new to the group journal, but so very happy I found it. I am finding it hard to stay on track on the weekends and especially with my Mother in town. Not that she is cooking or anything, but she wants to eat out. I was down 3.3 pounds and then since she came back, gained 1.3 pounds back. I have my little girls on my side though. They have found a new love for Shimmy, Bollywood, and just dancing with their Mommy. Love it, love it, love it. It is so motivating and fun to get fit with my daughters. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thanks guys, I found a site called count calories and I worked it out to be losing weight I should be eating around 1900 calories for my current weight, height and age.Today was busy but I managed to do 35 mins walk and eat pretty good. Hope to gym tomorrow. continue to enjoy the weekend.

Hey ladies,
how's it going so far? I am up and posting(that in itself is a miracle).
I did 1 hr yesterday but didn't drink enough water. So I will make up for it today.
Goal for today is to do 30 mins wii fit yoga
drink 8 cups water
take at least 2 vitamins
PG is to get 1/3 home projects done this weekend.
Will report later

Philosophy: Love unconditionally, laugh heartily, live well and purposefully and learn each step of the way.

January 2010-last lap on this loss journey. Time for a new journey. I give myself 4 months to get to goal.

Hey ladies,
WW does tell you how many calories you should be eating. But it's free on spark people. Lovin is correct though you can google it too.

Yes, it is kicking my butt. Next week is our open registration time so I will try to exercise when I can. I know Monday I won't be able to do my routine, but I have set my schedule so that I can do the other days.
