Not a real good day. Still retraining myself to remember about the goals I've set!

*Start each day reading/learning from God's Word: memorizing Gal. 4
*#1 guideline, water intake: 8 glasses
*Any exercise: 60 Bodypump class
*#5 guideline, 30-50 g. fiber intake: 24
*Tracking food with nutrition tracker: mostly
*Total fruits/veggies: 7
*Sleep at least 7 hours: yes
*Accomplish today's task goal: print passes, laundry
*Task goal for tomorrow: Y track jog, finish packing, get driver's license
*Today's weigh-in: 156.4 (3 pounds in one day, I doubt it! That shows you have unpredictable some scales can be)

Ate more pizza than I needed to eat tonight. Will run in the morning to offset it.

Almost a year since I've been here, so I'm long overdue to get back and become accountable again!

Weighed in this morning at 159.4-ouch! Reestablishing goals and basic guidelines.
These are based on the "skinny rules" from Bob Harper with Biggest Loser:
Healthy Eating Guidelines

1. Drink a large glass of water before every meal.
2. Don’t drink your calories.
3. Eat protein at every meal.
4. Slash intake of refined flours and grain.
5. Eat 30 to 50 grams of fibers a day.
6. Eat apples and berries every single day.
7. No carbs after lunch.
8. Brush your teeth after each meal.
9. Read food labels and know what you are eating.
10. Know portion size – measure to be sure.
11. Avoid added sweeteners, including artificial ones.
12. Avoid white potatoes
13. Go meatless one day a week.
14. Avoid fast foods and fried foods.
15. Enjoy a real breakfast.
16. Make your own food and enjoy eating at home at least 10 meals a week.
17. Avoid high salt foods.
18. Enjoy plenty of veggies.
19. It’d OK to go to bed hungry.
20. Get your sleep.
21. Plan one splurge meal a week.

I have also established some S.M.A.R.T. goals on a blog post. To help reach these goals I will focus on two guidelines for two weeks. My first two will be #1 and #5. I will track those daily here along with these other targets:

It will be a challenge thinking thru meals and trying to staying in calorie range. I do look forward to being able to run outside while there.

Didn't do the planned spiritual tasks. Cut the run at Y short by one mile. Calories were over 1400 but still in range.

Weigh-in was 128.8. Very nice and surprising drop. Just need to stay focused to maintain the below 130 range as we go to AZ.

It was a very good day for accomplishing tasks. With the nutrition adjustments made I was 5 calories under the top of allotted range. Will see how that affects weight tomorrow. Today weighed-in at 132.2. Will work to get below 130 before going to AZ next week.

Haven't done very well about staying on task the past few days. Must get refocused before I end up with weight up where I don't want it to be.

Spiritual: Have stillness time with God, read book, review Gal. 3:1-10
Fitness: DVD for ST with Erin
Food: stay with plan recorded in nutrition tracker exactly!!
Tasks: feed plants, prep poems for jingling, work on Ben's stockings, starch some ornaments, make preps for Thurs.

Tomorrow will be a full day with show choir performances at 7 grade schools through out the day. Will be exhausted.

It's been almost 1 1/2 months since posting here. I have been tracking most things in a journal. However, I am realizing to post publicly does keep me more accountable.

Because of a team challenge I'm involved in, I will be posting my eating, fitness, and task plan for the following day. Then as I post my plan for the next day, I will state if I followed that day's plans as previously posted.

Plan for Thursday, Nov. 29:
Fitness: Run 3 miles at Y in morning
Food: stay on low end of range, below 1300
- accurately record food on nutrition tracker
Tasks: water plants, plan meals, make Vita muffins, vacuum & dust upper floor
Spiritual focus: review Galatians 3, read Woman Who Listens to God.

God has given me a wonderful gift of health and physical fitness. I want to express me appreciation by guarding my focus to take good care of that gift.

Today's weigh-in: 129.0

Weight has been fluctuating within a few pounds. I would really like to stabilize it closer to 126, mid-maintenance range. To do that I will watch my calorie deficit again keeping in mind that when the total reaches -3500 I should have lost about one pound.

Tomorrow is final day in phase 4 of HCG plan, then I will be adding starch and sugar back into eating plan. However, after 2 months without sugar (only stevia) and very little starch, it has become less of a focus for me. I will continue to limit sugar intake and will be going for healthy starches: Ezekiel bread, kidney beans, black beans, popcorn, Vitamuffins. My main focus is to stay in my maintenance weight range as I continue to eat healthy and improve ST and exercise.

Slight increases in my weight. At this point I'm not concerned. It hasn't been much and I know my body is in the process of readjusting to more calories and into exercising again. I will watch it daily to be aware if it jumps up a lot.

Still battling cold symptoms that tire me out, so doing a lot of resting yet. I think I'm almost over it. I do plan to get some exercise this coming week. Target is to do 20-30 minutes, 4-6 days during the week. Will be doing running and aerobics. Next week I would like to start bodypump classes 2X a week again.

*No computer games: did play some today between resting
Today's weigh-in: 128.2

Originally we had planned to go one more week in Phase 2. However, I can sense that my body is needing more calories, so I have begun the 3 day transition phase. After that it's 3 weeks of working in more calories again to establish a maintenance weight. I may still lose the 2 pounds to reach my goal during that time, but that is not the priority. Priority is establishing healthy eating at maintenance calorie level and incorporating exercise and strength training again.

Laundry and rest was about all I had strength for today. Feeling a little better this evening. Plan to rest most of tomorrow so hopefully by Monday I'll be up to the task of work at school.
