interferes with exercise, work, social and i fear long term consequences of infections and meds.

pity you can't sleep cause of heat. can't technology help?

no, not great service. would miss you.if you couldn't get on. what about using your phone? worst case, something in your home would get organized :)

your colds may not be a serious illness but they really disrupt your life. microbiomes are involved in so many health problems and I wish you success with finding an answer. maybe they could be involved in my skin irritation which flares up at times too. luckily it doesn't leave blotches but makes it hard to sleep..

walked and exercise class. most people found it an effort today as they haven't been sleeping well because of the heat.

spent over an hour on the 'phone trying to sort out my computer security problem. was finally told I should get a reply in 7-10 days but, if my security system stops functioning, not to use the computer. Would hardly call this first-class service!

yes, heat knocks u out. good you were able to sleep.

still resting. i lose so much time to my "colds" but i must be grateful it's nothing more serious.
started olive leaf and oregano extract.
reading about microbiome. i'm sure i have the problem. hard to fix.

not the best way to lose weight but hope the reason is good and it stays off.

computer tech did 'phone - very late - and it turned into a long session but worth it to get problem fixed. will have to wait until next week to sort out payment.

walked but very hot later.

decided I needed to do something pleasant after the last two days so met friends for coffee.

didn't expect to hear from you today. how do you feel when you can't access the computer? I sometimes feel it might be a relief as long as it wasn't because of problems.

wow. so many frustrations!! glad you are comfortable.
i edited my post. the word hungry disappeared. my mouse is jumping again.
i lost over 3 pounds in a day or two. the silver lining in the cloud of being sick. hope i wasn't swollen! hope it depends on contents of intestines and not on retaining water.my temperature goes up to normal, so maybe my metabolism does, too.

just realized i forgot to wish you a good weekend. i was not consciously aware that i'd be able to post today.hope it's going well..

just commenting - later had email saying person kept getting put through to answering machine, mobile switched itself into safe mode so couldn't erase messages and key ring jammed in door and broke. it was weird the way everything went so wrong. today both 'phones are working normally.

discovered security should not have been due for renewal until September and still have other computer problem. it guy is going to ting later, probably very late but checked if it would be OK, but at least I'm warm and have eaten tonight.

it still sounds very unpleasant and I'm happy to know you're taking care of yourself.

hope your vent helped. very frustrating day and i do not like being hungry couldn't you start eating?pity you missed meditation. and if you fell asleep, wouldn't the phone wake you?

i'm not feeling so rotten. not in pain. stuffed and drippy and weak. don't want it to get worse, as it has lately.

glad that you're taking care of yourself. better to lose out on walking than risk cold developing into something more severe.

frustrating day -shopping centre [bought chamomile] then went to pick up order from another store and waited nearly 30m while they looked for it - and didn't find it. luckily I hadn't paid for it.

hairdresser was running very late so I wasted more time.

security program on pc blocked me and wouldn't let me in until I renewed subscription, which is on automatic. received receipt for automatic renewal but no sign of other payment and nothing has gone through the bank. rang it guy and power was out in his area. rang me about an hour ago and said had to change "phones but still hasn't rung back.

couldn't meditate in case I fell asleep and now I'm hungry but can't eat until we've spoken.

there, now I've vented and feel better for it. very self-centered when you're feeling rotten. hope tomorrow will be a better day for you.

cold worse. can't do long days. not going out today or tonight. will make tomorrow short. will be sad to take car both ways.

bad about cold, especially combined with long days.

physio. wants to increase number of exercises, get me to massage sore spots and use heat on painful parts. we spend a lot of time trying to take care of ourselves.

routine day. errands so some walking but got wet.

a little but not bad. only slept for about 2 hours last night [skin] so very tired. today. back to u3a. strength & balance put me in different group so had to kill 1.5 hours between classes. would have loved to find somewhere to lie down and sleep.

have you completely got rid of the cold?

can you take sour cherries or chamomile or jasmine oetc. to sleep? do they interfere with your meds?

hope you're feeling better.

neither do I. have noticed certain things seem to make it worse and sometimes have no problem for ages. have decided to make a note of what triggers it off so that I have something to tell the doc at the next visit.

didn't nap but took sleeping tablet [try to keep it to max of 2 a month] and had a very good night.

exercise class started today. think there will be a few aching people tomorrow.

hope you soon get over your cold. don't expect to get one but you do seem to be susceptible to them.

don't envy you the cold but do envy you the sleep. skin irritation has returned, particularly bad at night. feels as if ants are crawling all over me so less than two hours sleep last night. doc says it is blood irritating nerve ends. been like a zombie all day.

trust tomorrow will be better for both of us.

at present have standard vacuum, plus stick which has detachable hand-held, and dustbuster. don't sneeze but makes me ache and definitely not interesting.

only ever had one facial and she was over-enthusiastic so felt sore. would be nice to have one some time. massage might not be good for me. definitely should do facial exercises and moisturise face and body more.

weird weather. walked and got wet. quite cold tonight.

someone suggested to convener of croquet club. which wants more members, that she should ask me to join. invited me to try it. have never played and don't know whether it would be suitable of if I would enjoy it.

you too. don't know where the rest of the week goes.

we applaud you on walking in heat and not eating. the two of you may take a bow. :)

had dustbuster long time ago. then had vacuum for a while and gave it to my parents. then had another vacuum and gave it to my parents. now dustbuster again. truth is cleaning is exercise, too. but it makes me cough and my back hurt. and it's not interesting. but neither is formal exercise.

did facial exercise videos today. facial lady said i need them. face still feels smoother than usual. better do rest of body, too. masseuse said i need them, too. my muscles are very thin. was good when i was able to walk to work. i had to get there. and don't even dance. looking forward to spring.

went to social meeting and met several people I didn't know as well as those I have for a long time. didn't eat.

you also deserve the cleaner.

physio this morning. found a very painful spot in my leg which I didn't know was there. says it would be helpful to massage it with appropriate cream.

shopping centre. always walk a lot there and have loads of fresh food now.

thank you for the link. it's interesting but most of her ways involve using both shoulders. the way I would get up is very like the basic way she mentions first.

enjoyed the day. neither massage nor facial was spectacular. went to eat sandwich and small box of apple/berry juice. (she had frappuccino or something like that) in nice place and then to explore new food store. walked very little. still need to exercise and i'm tired. was a nice day off which i earned yesterday.

cleaner came for 2 hrs. in the evening.

i can't skip the next meal after overeating. i'm starved.

we both had satisfying days.always good to get rid of stuff.

walked then went to Australia Day lunch. ate more than I should but will be eating very little, if anything, tonight.
after lunch went to friend's to help with her computer.
back home and someone came to empty drinks cupboard of everything I don't want. [no, he's not drinking it all - it's going to a social club and they will be able to raffle whisky and wine decanters too].

satisfying day but tiring.

not quite so hot so walked. was talking to someone whose masseuse has been on holiday. she said she was longing for her to come back to get rid of the aches and pains.

thought I'd have lots of spare time without u3a and other exercise class but still seem to have so many things left undone.

hope you enjoyed food and company. I try to ration myself on nuts but they are moreish and make snacking on cheese, apples, etc. so much more enjoyable.

our it person also didn't recommend windows 10. my boss did. i kinda need windows 8 or 10. nobody likes windows 8. anyway, it isn't working.

we had snow but i have internet. no need to worry. i just hope i get to massage on tuesday. dependent on transportation to the location my friend chose.

good luck. windows 10 is getting more pushy but my computer tech has told me not to get it as there are still too many problems to be ironed out. might be different with your setup.

just been watching news and got quite worried about you as it showed horrendous snow scenes and said a quarter of the US was affected. as you can still use the internet, I assume you are nowhere near those areas.

looking forward to starting a new audio book [part of my spending spree earlier] this evening and an early night.

good idea. it's so much easier if rooms have had a thorough clean.

will have to be patient and wait for new yoghourt maker.

walked, then decided to meet friends for coffee.

after lunch unpacked organisers when a friend came over unexpectedly so didn't get too much done. enjoyed the visit and organising will be there another day.
slept very badly so may take sleeping tablet tonight. couldn't even sleep during day and really need some rest.

think it's healthier. have ordered another. costs more but more versatile. has 7 internal glass jars so can make 7 flavours. another plus is company is in Australia and there are loads of instructions and suggestions in English. here's hoping!

bit cooler today so short walk. have found a couple of times if i don't get up straight away after meditating i fall asleep for a while. probably because i'm more relaxed.

shopping and bought two desktop organisers and a new shredder. too big a job to hope to get papers sorted quickly but have no excuse for not starting.

gardener came, which was a big relief as my conscience was telling me it was time to water again.

sorry I can't advise you re bike. I found mine, and it was a good one, made my legs ache, which was crazy as I loved cycling and used to cycle 120 miles outdoors easily. guess I was younger then.

i was pleased with what she did. two bedrooms very thoroughly in 2 hours. my husband does not want her back.

thanks. i have plenty of black and blue pens. purple is a splurge.

glad you are getting refund. doesn't help the time and food you wasted and now you need to find another. or does it pay? i don't use mine. maybe i should start?

buyer found (after i told him it did not fall out of the package) the book i sent that he claimed didn't arrive. will get $15.01. my husband says now i can retire. i cannot walk away and leave money on the table.

at least you accomplished. can you nap? wish there was a way to cool off your home. i've never experienced unmanageable heat since we bought an air conditioner.

i plan to overeat (good food) and don't want to exercise. grains and beans don't fill me or give me energy like meat. i need real (aka animal) protein. i'm trying.

i wish the reviews for the bikes with computer table were better. i really need one and am ready to get it.

hope the cleaner did a good job for you.

enjoy your reward. the erasables I get are excellent but i don't regard them as a reward.

seller is sending me a refund for yoghourt maker.

hot again. woke at 4.30 and couldn't get back to sleep so got up at 5.30. I find I get a lot done if I'm up very early but then feel tired later on.

I use one but am still capable of forgetting something vital.

am very happy with x-ray results but still need to find out the cause of the pain.
I know what it's like. don't deduct for pens. I like the erasable ones best.

I'm all for saving time and would like to buy organic all the time but often the fruit isn't appealing and my cynical mind asks how I know things really are organic.

hope you find the answer re your knees.

are we going to use our beautiful rebounders? I actually have a very old battered one. Physio from strength & balance said maybe I will be able to use it later but would like me to hang onto something, which would mean carrying it into another room.

walked early then met friends for coffee. meditated then decided to lie on the bed for a while longer and fell asleep.

msg 2 . found belly dancing on youtube. i'm impatient. may have earned $.

my knees are not too happy. really want to take them to a therapist. need to fix them so i can do stress test for my heart. see what happened with problem i had last 2 times.

it's incredible that i waste my time spinning for essentially useless sparkpoints. earning them for healthful behaviors is one thing. spinning is another.

hope i can find sleep.

to do list in one place sounds good. reminders even beter and important for meds.

my brother (today) brought me my parents' two weekly medicine boxes. i couldn't remember what i had already taken. this way i can set up once a week and see. i'm not too happy about having pills outside their bottles and handled twice. trying it out.

happy for your good news: no arthritis and improvement. hoping for further progress.

i spent far too much time on amazon today instead of exercising. shopping in stores is more healthful. (didn't go dance, unfortunately. ) looked for something for daughter which never worked out. ordered wedding gift for neighbor and hand vacuum for me. needed few more cents not to pay delivery. i got bobby pins which i use but don't need yet. but needed few more dollars shipped from amazon itself for them to deliver small item. so i ordered purple pens which i enjoy. maybe i should deduct the pens from my dollars. i didn't need them. rewarded myself for not exercising. i'll do something and hope it won't keep me up, but probably won't be enough for another dollar even though i ate well.

brother brought me organic quinoa and strainer to wash it. i told him i wanted pre-rinsed because i lose too much when i do it. he didn't like the idea.

found canned organic lentils. how lazy can i get? if it's there, that's what i grab.

the world seems to be going organic.

you're right - it's much better to exercise early.

how can they make things so complicated?

todo list - email self - notes, sticky or otherwise. I use a paid todo list. it's not too cheap but I've got it set up as a plug-in at the side of my mail box and check it every night [get reminders too]. even list medication and it's saved me a few times from missing out so find it's worth it.

mixed day but busy. walked early then very hot again. shopping centre, doc and physio. x-ray results show no arthritis in hips. physio wants to push me more with ankle weights now he knows. took another video on smart 'phone and said I'd improved a bit, which I felt I had, and we compared the two. went to meeting after but had left air-conditioning on at home from before 9 this morning so it's quite reasonable now.

no meditation so no dollar but hope to sleep well tonight.

sorry you didn't sleep enough. i couldn't fall asleep (maybe because of late exercise), but i slept late. must manage to exercise early in day for many reasons including:
1. rev metabolism
2. clear brain
3. be able to fall asleep
4. know it's done
so it's 4 pm and i haven't moved!

trying to transfer small tax deferred account in bank to my employer's bigger account. consolidating to simplify. one with mutual fund company finally went through.( i sold two funds i liked. maybe i should buy them back outside the tax deferred accounts.) this one is making trouble.
usually lose in summer, too. i want to eat more when i'm cold. maybe if i bothered to make warm soups it would help.

just bought a small heater for this room. hope it'll work and be safe. how will i remember to shut/unplug it all the time?

Not very then got up early to run errand before it got too hot. No real walking but watered garden, did huge load of washing, some cleaning so was reasonably active.

Are you trying to transfer to another bank or just another account with the same one? I resent the time spent on trying to sort out problems which should not exist.

Neither did ours and so far this year is no better. One of the problems is being part of a global community.

Paperwork is a nightmare for me. I put things aside until later and then have to waste time looking for them instead of making myself find time to deal with them promptly.

Good for you. Find I really don't want to eat so much, especially in the evening, when it's hot so I suppose there are advantages.

have xeroxed and mailed third document (my year-end-statement) to try to transfer my $2000. bank keeps refusing to accept the documents they provide.

our financial markets did not do well in 2015.

i grow piles of paper and publications cuz i don't have a place to file them immediately. other stuff piles up cuz i don't get to it. threw out some today. lots still on the shelf. some of the info is likely obsolete and a lot is repetitive.

horror day weather wise - at present have air-conditioning and three fans running and it's just bearable. forecast storms and a drop in temperature tonight. hope they are right so everyone can get some sleep.

physiotherapy - a lot of my treatment is adjustment and massage is of painful areas so not really a pleasure but helps me. you probably would be better with a masseuse. when are you taking up your friend's offer?

shopping centre and even there it was too hot. at least I did a lot of walking.

time to think of my evening meal - couldn't face a hot meal so may settle for a wrap and some yoghourt.

good you got walk in. i was able to walk both ways today. got out early and sunny. earned $.

glad u enjoyed "pedicure". speaking of luxury, friend offered me day at the spa. it included massage, manicure, pedicure, hair blown and lunch. i told her i prefer a massage and a facial. she decided that's what she wants, too. i am looking forward to it a little apprehensively.

dance class canceled till further notice. will miss it. social, pleasant exercise and no food. what more could i ask?

realised that when I came to check them out.

yoghourt maker sellers e-mailed me asking for more info and said "don't worry we look after you".

collected steamer today. will try it out later in the week after I've been grocery shopping.

podiatrist came. only comes once every four months but it's an enjoyable luxury.

problem with yoghourt maker. have sent seller a message but office closed for weekend.

unusual but several of us didn't finish it. think the festive season has been busy. should be back to normal next month. will check out the links but find it easier to listen to audio books, many of which i buy from amazon.

music cd arrived today. only one to come now. have just been informed my little two-tier steamer has been delivered to local store. seem to have been buying a lot of gadgets lately but I think they will help me to eat less fat and sweeteners.

book club. nobody liked the book but the discussion was interesting.

on track to earn 144$. biked while listening to webinar. need something to hold my attention while i bike. exercise is boring. on track to earn 144$. but i've eaten all planned food and still hungry. i will persist.

not too sure I have anything appropriate.

realised will have to get adaptor as bought yoghourt maker from china.

shopping this morning, which included lots of walking.

gardener came. did usual tasks and brought new hose nozzle I'd ordered. also took away sandwich maker/griller which was very heavy and took up too much space on kitchen bench. a little less clutter

rest of audio books arrived today. just two music cds to come now.

met friends for coffee but even ladybird didn't feel like eating. might keep lollipop as a reward for her later.

yoghourt maker I ordered online arrived today but all the instructions are in chinese. seller was very good and sent me some info in English even though they don't have instruction leaflets for it. will make 1 litre, which is what i buy every week but this way i'll know there are no sneaky sugars or sweeteners.

walked and am claiming dollar. did you? we're only at the beginning of the year but feels the lifelong struggle to be healthy has already started.

didn't think about knees till now. maybe they are right.

turtle says ladybird can have the lollypop. how many calories can it be (if it's a plain small lolly) and it'll feel like fun. if you can find a happy recipient, it's even better.

i'm almost out of calories and i have many, many hours to go!! i'll just have to stick to what i prerecorded or i'll have to earn more calories 'cuz i'm claiming my $142.

had one nasty moment when computer said I wasn't connected to Wi-Fi so was unable to gain online access but, since managing to sort that out, it's been behaving.

disappointing about dance class. hope bike is ok.

had two crackers with avocado dip and a slice of birthday cake. were all given a lollipop to take home. as there were just adults there, don't understand why and it's not something which tempts us.

first two items arrived today, others will arrive later.

we dragged my bike back in here (pulled it out a few weeks ago to make room for a couple) and i sort of tried an online spin class. no way i can assume the positions. they say bike doesn't hurt knees. hope it's true.

sorry you couldn't sleep. usually sleep for about 3.5 to 4 hours if lucky then pain wakes me and I can't get back to sleep again. feel tired most of the time.

think [hope!!] computer is OK now but had to waste a lot of time on it yesterday.

disposed of last of chocolates yesterday but birthday gathering today. we can never escape temptation for long.

it's probably better that she didn't call.

mixed day - weather cooler but couldn't walk because leg and hip painful, then tried to update clone program technician had said I should use but it came up as 64, which I don't have. couldn't get rid of it and froze computer. eventually after about three hours I was able to shut down and then get access again. definitely a hate computers day.

did manage to hobble round, sorted out food for week, including hard-boiling eggs.

had a very good steamer before but gave it away because it became too heavy for me to handle so ordered a two-tier one for the microwave. still don't intend to count calories but definitely need to eat more healthily this year [at least on the whole]. will make it much easier to cook all the good veggies i'm allowed now.

ok. that sounds like a reasonable system. yes, we have individual air conditioners.

you did well with the food.

i earned my dollar thursday, but not since. moved too little and today had chocolate wafer and ru balls. the rum balls were excessive.

we were supposed to go to an engagement party today. our ride never called (she kinda said, "don't call us, we'll call you.") and my husband and i were glad to have an excuse not to travel 3 hours. it would have been nice to be there, but not worth the trip. i hope the wedding won't be too far.

we weren't too bad - no bread or nibbles. quiche with a variety of salads followed by fruit salad and ice cream and two after dinner chocolates. met friends for coffee this morning but nobody was interested in eating. still hot but may cool down slightly later on.

do you have individual air conditioners in the rooms? my system is overhead ducted - kitchen vent 1 + 2-speed fan, dining room 1, lounge 2, bedroom 1 each + overhead fans in laundry, toilet and bathroom. also have small portable. heating comes through same vents in winter, plus have electric oil-filled heater and a small portable. cooling and heating can be closed off for bedrooms if not wanted there.

just had lunch with lots of salad but need to earn dollar later on.

your heat is terrible. do you have only one air conditioner? we have three in essentially four rooms. each bedroom and living room/dining room. only kitchen has an exhaust fan in the window which removes heat from stove and draws in cool air from the other rooms. we have radiators in each room to heat. why not air conditioner to cool? turkish bath is good for you , but only for a limited amount of time.
just earned my $. exercise wakes my brain. must get into habit of doing it before work when i'm home. now i don't know when i'll fall asleep.

I need to throw/give away many things but so far have only managed to pass on a glass electrical kettle which I bought and then found was too heavy for me to lift. Am wondering if I get cleaner to help me get things down from higher shelves if I will have enough for the Salvation Army to send a van. Apart from those I have many garments which are in excellent condition but just not suitable for my present lifestyle. I also have to sort out my external hard disc and a large collections of USBs. I often put books on my Kindle. many are free and a lot aren't expensive. paper filing is still a mess.

sorry, doc said I had put on weight at last visit so my tracker is not accurate.

unfortunately, didn't find letter but could remember enough of what he said to make appropriate comments.

cleaner came and received mow delivery so have clean home and fresh food for start of year.

even having the air conditioner on from early morning and with fans going in most rooms it feels like a Turkish bath here.

guess I'd better get ready for NY Dinner. ladybird says if I don't take her she'll never trust me again.

downsizing so there is room for everything is my effort towards organizing. actually, scanning everything is tempting. i've come to love the search function on my computer. sometimes i summarize books on the computer instead of by hand, and i can always find them. not true for physical papers of which i have too many. many unsorted. even the sorted ones i can't decide how to file-by medical condition, supplement/food type,title,author. on computer i can find by any of these regardless of what folder i chose. problem is i have some on usb sticks to save room.on computer.
i moved into 130-ville. hope i can stay there and move down steadilly.

couldn't help but smile at the name of the challenge and ladybird wants to know if there's one for her. I think it has a good point in that weight lost more slowly seems to stay off but, as usual, the 8 glasses of water play an important part.

leg easier this morning but not happy now. think massaging with ointment helps.
went shopping, reluctantly, but at least I chose my own food and know I haven't got anything too ripe or too near the use by date.

far too hot and will be tomorrow too.

if I were to make a NY resolution it would have to be to be more organised. Need to send airmail to someone overseas this evening. have found his card and envelope but the letter...??

not everything. she can certainly have a dessert but don't know what will be on menu yet. friend who was at xmas lunch 'phoned today. said later on two sets of relatives called in, both times bringing lots of food. felt she couldn't not eat, even though she wasn't hungry. luckily she's slim so doesn't have to watch the calories.

good that food was all right. nice to know you're earning dollars and also posting on Pam's site.

have painful leg, which limited me but did physio exercises. may have moved awkwardly when hanging out washing.

tomorrow should be reasonable but then the heat will be back again.

$214 - $137 = $77 went mad on buying music cds and audio books in the online sales. had to promise ladybird I would let her eat what she wants on NY Eve to stop her sulking.

had a decent downpour, which we needed, so no walking. did exercise and moved filter, which is very big but the water is great, then decided to move other appliances around, which led to cleaning kitchen benches etc. and must account for a few calories.

while I was clearing out some of the files on my external hard disc came across tracker I used at one stage. suited me when I was counting calories as the foods are Australian brands but hasn't inspired me to start counting them again.

good to see bird bath full again but ravens come and dunk slices of bread to soften it. don't know where they get it from as I never put out food.

not quite that hot, but certainly unseasonably warm.

thanks for the advice. i have simple pedometers that i should program. have to teach them my gait or something and wear them at the waist, i think. i just took them out. today's trackers track more. could track my sleep, too. anyway, will probably get none.

had sliver of good friend's new cake, handful of chips and cantaloupe cubes.
walked at least half an hour. still hoping to do something else.

can't suggest anything re desk but you could probably download an app on a smartphone, depending on the program you use.

another idea you could check out is a pedometer. I have an Omron HJ-113 which measures steps, distance, calories and fat grams burned, It has a 7-day memory and clock. you can put it in your pocket or bag, clip it onto your hip or, as I've done, buy a lanyard separately and wear it round your neck. There is a wide variety available, it would cost much less than a decent smartphone and be much lighter. I know Amazon sells them and many other places do too.

thoroughly enjoyed Xmas lunch, met many people I already knew and some new ones. wasn't too wicked with food so allowed ladybird a chocolate. problem is everywhere you go you are offered free "goodies" like today chocolates and even cardiologist's receptionist wouldn't let me out until I took a chocolate and a gingerbread man, which I've already disposed of. think i'll only have a light snack tonight and look forward to a salad tomorrow. also just received a box of chocolates from a "friend".

enjoy your bed cover. I bought one a little while ago but haven't found a pillow case I like to go with it yet.

I prefer my own cds because I can put them into my portable player and take it from room to room and dvds because I can play them through the TV screen.

forecast to be extremely hot again tomorrow, with thunderstorms in the evening so don't think i'll be going out. need to give more time to physio exercises.

our news showed New Yorkers wearing shorts and eating ice cream. Looks like your weather is as crazy as ours. whatever the weather and whatever you do, enjoy it.

msg 2 just did 2 jane austin videos online. one i have on cd. why do i need my own cd's? i guess there's a lag and i don't get the latest online. not important. i just need novelty. i can't buy a new one each day.

i'd like to spend my dollars on a bike with a desk for my computer or a tracker that measures my steps and the calories i burn and my heart rate. sometimes i want a smartphone which seems to be a portable computer.

so frustrating.
hope leg/hip turn out to be something he can fix. nice he pays attention.
sad to see thirsty birds.
hope you enjoy xmas and lunch and weekend..
small transfer i've been trying to do for a month still not good. bank says they were sent wrong request.
never got out today. better do something soon.
i got a new cover for the bed in this room. hope my guest likes it. i do.
find dirt wherever i look. cleaning little by little. a little more scrubbing today. feeling very domesticated. usually don't.

good walking. envy you having rain.

messy day again. rang for plumber, who came, spent about an hour here and couldn't fix problem. rang company which said it would send someone more experienced later. turned up at 5pm but everything working again. won't have to pay for first visit.

gardener came. I watered everything yesterday but already dried out and birds were standing on birdbath and looking reproachful.

forgot to tell you. physio said he had looked at my walking video in the day between visits and shown it to his wife, also a physio. both seem to feel I had problem with leg. did say it might be worth getting x-ray as one hip could be worn and would be easier to suggest exercises if they knew.

ladybird says doesn't care if Santa Claus doesn't come as long as she gets her Xmas lunch.

heat is back and will be extremely hot until Boxing Day at least. thought it strange too at first but used to it now.

shopping centre - glad I didn't drive there, traffic was mad and centre crowded with people in a hurry - nearly got knocked down twice by people not looking where they were going. combination of xmas and sales. consolation was bought blouse I like for 50% off and usual size still fits me. did food shopping too so don't need to mess around with online order.

guess it's easier for me at the moment 'cos I prefer salads when it's so hot.

good. earned my dollar too.

feels funny to have hot xmas.
hope you don't hurt after physio. enjoy your break.
also doing housework. figure scrubbing is arm exercise.
yes, this weight thing is a toughy. but we'll keep plugging. at least we are not ballooning. salad, soup and lean protein. not read for only vegetarian protein.

hope you will keep going. it's enjoyable but also good exercise.

no walking but did four loads of washing, watered plants and filled bird bath, also some housework. wanted to get as much of the physical stuff done before physio tomorrow as he's going on holiday so won't get next treatment until 18/1.

it's hard to maintain and harder to lose. weight had increased since earlier visit to doc.

heating up again, forecast to be a very hot xmas.

no. lately she's been making us sign up for dance class for a series of 10 sessions. today is last of these. in january i will pay for one session at a time for as long as i go. less motivation to go, but i hope i will do it.

i entered my food today. almost done with calories. not enough fiber or nutrients and it was all good food. plan to start again. vegetables and water, here i come.

busy day.

took advantage of cooler weather and walked.

doc and physio both agreed not arthritis in hips. doc did say it could be connected with brain and suggested going to neurophysiologist. physio said might be good idea and took video of me walking to study later. i looked horrible!!!

exercise class - last until february so i'll need to do something at home and walk while cooler weather lasts, which won't be for long.

think I might untick email for threads and just look online like you do as they waste time.

you've achieved a lot and I'd like to get rid of a lot stuff too.

is dance class closed anyway until January or February?

ve no plans.
most of my message just disappeared in front of my eyes. will repeat:
at least you can cool off and/or walk in comfort at the mall.
i don't usually check the account where i get spark email. i check the ones on the site-e.g. when you write to me.
dessert on xmas is certainly reasonable. a whole week of damage will be hard to undo. i have no plans.
i goofed. party is next sunday. good my husband read my calendar.
did stuff in house. rearranged covers and pictures. did some mending. washed some doors and walls. made some orders. 5 days of personal email. work email.
sold 9 dvd's for a total of $6. bigger accomplishment is getting rid of them. I've been trying to declutter.
tomorrow is last dance class of series. after will pay for one class at a time for as long as i go.

this is going to be a bad week for controlling our food but have told ladybird she can have a dessert at the Christmas Dinner. Are you doing anything special on 25th?

I know I need to lose weight but haven't been able to exercise because of heat. no excuse tomorrow. appreciate the carwash goodie although I'm only driving to local shopping centre at the moment. u3a classes finished until February and it's no pleasure to drive during the holiday period.
