$80, I think.

annoying having to put back cardiology appointment. stormy day but went to exercise class. nasty moment when all power went off and screen went black. didn't function properly when I first turned it on again later so wasted time trying to fix it but it's OK again now.

I've never heard of oil pulling. what is it?

glad you took turtle. ladybird says you did well.

feel as if I've got a cold coming on this evening. can cancel tomorrow's arrangements but have medical appt. wed and need to vote Thursday. could be expensive if I don't go.

got it all wrong. she spoke about laughter. didn't make me laugh.ate chicken and lettuce. didn't eat bread, rice or cake. i thought would be fruit and cake. anyway, it was nice, but i don't think i'll go again.

i did no work. i'm ready for tomorrow.
i'm going for walk and then to hear comedienne. am taking turtle cause there will be food. i think i drank one glass of water all day. hope i took vitamins this morning. maybe i drank another glass?plan to drink tonight.

sorry you couldn't sleep. me, neither. think stomache caused it. slept late. how will i go to sleep tonight and get up tomorrow.

finally weighed myself. 141 and 1/2. feared worse. turtle looked around for ladybird, but can't see her. get someone else to pull out your scale. don't do anything we'll regret.

did my gums today. even swished coconut oil for 20 min while checking email. have you read about "oil pulling"? doubt it will become a habit.

occasionally do a few facial exercises. some were hurting the tube in my mouth and some fell by the wayside like any good habit. i include some for sleep apnea, sometimes. another "to-do".

finally got prescription for blood test. not sure where it got stuck. anyway, i don't think it's right, so i didn't go. will have to postpone cardiologist appt.

sleepless night - tried going from one bedroom to other but could not get comfortable on either bed. tired, temperature too high outside so didn't exercise.

know how you feel.

if only! my scales are somewhere under the bed but didn't dare look for them because I was afraid I might not be able to get up. might risk it sometime if I'm having a good day.

that's one of the few good things I've been doing regularly. join me.

notice there's a booklet on looking younger in one of the local magazines. haven't read it. are you still doing the facial exercises

hope doc has good answer for physiotherapist.

we are allowed occasional (moderate) lapses as long as we get right back on the horse.

good you are getting rich.

haven't done any work yet. brain is restless. body isn't. and my hips, or something, hurt. healthier for heart to move body.

blood test tomorrow in preparation for cardiologist on tuesday. he will want to give me medicine. i fear i'm relatively fat. haven't weighed myself in a while. is your weight tracker up to date?

i guess my heart and, because of it, my thyroid and my apnea, are my current big worries. i'm assuming i'll be able to avoid major surgery for the big cyst in my jaw. must start exercising seriously again.

wouldn't hurt to do my gums. (you, too.) they say they can affect the heart.

didn't want to give me printed copy but insisted. didn't learn anything new but beautiful views of pacemaker. physiotherapist has told me to ask surgeon about something on one of the slides.

so glad growth is benign.

dinner last night was very enjoyable but we made some good and some bad choices. earned dollar.

sad about colleague's father.

what did you learn from xray?

thanks. me, too.

was told too cold to walk. don't think it was so bad, but my nose is running anyway. am foolishly staying up and doing work that could nicely wait till tomorrow.

good. thanks.

I would have to do the converting but it would be good to know what's needed , cost, etc.

share your fear of radiation and hope your results are good. had shoulder x-rays yesterday.
won't take my blood because of medication.

earned dollar yesterday but not today. shopping centre, took advantage of good day and did a load of laundry, then physio session. will meditate but too tired to walk before dark.

interesting, converting everything to computer. bet i could if i had the time and patience.

had lung cat scan. hope results are good. afraid of radiation. he said they are forced to do it low dose protocol, but
the pictures are not as good. cardiologist sent me to place with new low dose machine. maybe i should have gone back there even though pulmonologist said to come here.
while i was in the hospital, i gave blood. have to drink an extra quart. will be hard tomorrow.

true . computer course being put on next year if enough people are interested to explain cost, equipment required and how to use it to transfer old photos, VHS and vinyl recordings to digital.. if i think I'll be able to go back then might join it.

good. have dinner invitation for tomorrow night. one bookclub member told me she is lactose-, fructose- and glucose-intolerant. must be difficult.

behaved well at wedding cuz got early ride home.

inefficiently installed software for new work and started using it. luckily i was prepared for tomorrow. i enjoyed and accomplished.but it cost me sleep. this is not good.

thank you for link. will follow it up. checked on u-tube: one video no longer available due to a copyright claim by Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home, the other is for three miles. can search later.

the only e-mail they should be deleting is the copy sent to the web.

I'm assuming you would have to pay yourself to hire someone. Depending on the cost, it could be worth it to release you to do other things.

Mixed day. slept badly and severe headache and pain in neck and shoulder this morning but physio helped so went to meeting and to exercise class. aching quite a lot again now, which I don't usually do after class. earned dollar yesterday and today so $77.

sorry email is giving you so much grief. how about gmail? limitless. can't imagine leting them clear my email. i have tens of thousands. i store stuff there. probable should move to documents :(

need to set up software for mew stuff. that's the worst part.. it won't be hard for me to learn. will take time to change over what i have. will try to get assistant to help, but boss complaining about lack of funds. may be worthwhile for me to pay young quick person to do it. have to find one.

hope rest helped. joined long time ago, completed course but haven't been entering for quite a while.

I could keep busy with online games all day. one program I enjoyed in the past was luminosity. did the free part but it's expensive to become a member and I'm not sure I could cope with my present eyesight.

took me three long telephone conversations with internet provider to sort out webmail problem. finally got them to set it to clear after 5 days but cannot get a bigger mailbox for the secondary address. by evening I couldn't face the computer any more.

good about baby but know what you mean about hospitals. member of exercise class had to go in twice for minor procedures entailing an overnight stay but both times she got an infection and was there for over a week.

enjoy the company. ladybird approves.

you had a full day!

thanks, u2.

broke my streak of over 100 days. did no exercise yesterday. guess i needed a rest. (r u interested in 10 min streak team?)

found new brain exercises (aka games) on aarp site.i could do this merrily for hours on end.

went through many old work emails yesterday. i never catch up with myself. adds to stress. need to catch up and live in pRESEnt. of course, need a healthy present.

friend's brand new grandson had successful hernia surgery yesterday.
coworkers father is being killed by hospital. went in functional. if he gets out at all, he won't be.

was researching new stuff on internet. new is always more exciting. but i should wait for others to work out the kinks first and start from there. discipline is hard in many areas!
not sure they are doing the right thing. don't want to have to change again, soon. not in my control.

company tomorrow (may not post).
wedding SUNday. will take turtle and listen.

good for you on both counts.

dollarless day again. contacted technician because had problems I couldn't fix, then had to sort out info to send him, then he rang back. This time we were on 'phone for over two hours but looking good. one site I need to check out to see if all is well again and have to follow up something with internet supplier. ended up eating a sandwich and getting changed in a mad rush because someone was picking me up to go to book club. too late to exercise after that.

very tired and looking forward to a quiet day tomorrow.

did you walk with fast partner and, if so, did you enjoy it?

physio again. think he's really looking forward to my showing surgeon in a couple of weeks' time how well I've progressed.. said it would be a tragedy if I fell and caused any damage before then.

sorry the wedding was a disappointment. in the circumstances you did well as boredom is a strong incentive to overeat.

turtle applauds your discipline and forethought.
yesterday, i arrived a little early. knew nobody except immediate family, whom i could not monopolize.(this remained true all night. the people i knew were at a wedding somewhere else.) had 3 doughy things. refused the next three times the waitress offered them. then filled one plate at buffet and did not refill. did choose a small desert. was basically bored. drank water and seltzer.
today walked and danced. will record food so i can claim $.

sat next to a talker at last week's wedding. she exhausted me. it's a real drain. grattitude is a good trait.

i'll take turtle, thanks. i'll enjoy the people, music, etc. , and drink lots of water and choose veggies, which will be served at this wedding. i'll try to avoid the doughy, fatty goodies.

don't want to open computer when i get home. takes me too long to close it.

not so tired today.. bright and sunny but cooler and much less exhausting. met a neighbour out walking her friend's dog - she's a talker but it would be worse if nobody wanted to speak to me. as you can probably tell, I'm going through a "be grateful" period.

ladybird says to take turtle. buffets have advantage of choice but disadvantage of being able to eat unlimited quantity. important thing is that you enjoy yourself.

we should. friend told me she was happy not to have put in a tax return this year as her income was below the threshold. rather have the finances, even though I spent the whole morning sorting out problems.

glad this assistant is good and you're being productive.

earned dollar but hot, tired and headachy all day so had a nap and then sat outside for a while this afternoon. at least I feel less like eating when it's hot.

ladybird wants to know if you're taking turtle with you.

i suppose we should be grateful we have finances to take care of, but it isn't fun.

productive work at home day. did i mention that current assistant is working out well? i'll have him for only another month or so. after that i expect to have less work that can be done by someone other than me.

hope tomorrow is an easier day.

seem to have been busy all day but not achieved much. shopping centre which doesn't count as in or out. did have a couple of old walking vhs but not seen them for a long time. if you can come up with some ideas it would be good for bad weather. must be better than marching on the spot.

physio this afternoon - tells me to try 1.5kg weights for bicep curls as he wants me to build up some muscle but mustn't go above 1kg. for anything else.

no exercise class today. hot and muggy but walked outside. a lot of the time I don't enjoy walking now but do enjoy meditation. glad I bought the mp3s. am on month two now, with ten more to come. with a choice of four "flavours" i don't get bored.

glad you enjoyed wedding. ladybird said she knew turtle would keep you under control. know what you mean about older people aging. friend had her 93rd birthday last month and says she thinks it may be time to stop taking part in protest marches. think she's right, especially as some of them turn violent.

been putting off tackling today's mail but must do it now.

will but doesn't get any easier. earned dollar today $66. could break it up if at home but couldn't face forcing myself to go out and walk twice.

good about cold but less so re mouth. hope it eases off and you enjoy wedding. could have gone to dinner with Halloween theme tonight but wasn't really interested. it is not celebrated much here, only for kids. it seems to be a big thing in America.

problem bank was supposed to fix still hasn't been fixed.

you keep trying an i hope you prove him wrong. in the end, you can only try your best and do what you can do. hey, how about 2 (or more) shorter walks? sounds like your shopping trips give you a total of more than 20.

glad you enjoyed scrabble. yes, we must exercise the mind, too. i think it matters.

my cold seems to be going away. resting first 2 days was good. my mouth has been bothering me. considering but resisting going to see surgeon tomorrow. looking forward to wedding on thursday. mother is one of oldest friends and i'll know many people whom i haven't seen in a while.

guess they could really because they're mainly using resistance bands, plus things like lunges, squats, etc. but I haven't counted them as exercise.
he's the second I've consulted and I preferred him.
shopping centre, followed by scrabble [hope it exercises the brain at least].

no dollar today and not likely tomorrow. did meditate but had long talk with broker and then had to sort something out with the bank.
cardiologist but, as usual, nothing more he can do for me. did say I could drink more water if I sweat a lot in summer, which I don't.
physio, painful but I needed the treatment. think he believes I have nothing to all day but his exercises but at least he has faith in me.

if only!!! have not altered my tracker for at least a year but my clothes tell me I'm much heavier. ladybird says well done to you and turtle.

you're obviously doing what you can to get rid of the cold and I hope you manage to dance.

glad you could walk. physio, said OK for exercise class. felt stiff and achy and didn't really enjoy it but we earned our dollar.

last night thunder and really loud claps of lightening - sounded overhead. started about 2 and didn't stop until about lunchtime. nobody got much sleep.

but there are more risks (no antidote and fairly new) as a price for the convenience.

thanks. can't take echinachea. taking garlic and other stuff. drinking, but not enough. not steaming, really, tho did inhale cooking vapors, carefully. resting cold so it doesn't get worse seems to help. i'll have to go in to work at least twice this week. i'd like to dance,too. last week of this series.

i broke through 140 again. froze part of leftovers instead of eating all, as usual. turtle is pleased. i think portion size is an issue for me. and, of course, my milk and raisins. slowly but surely!

walked today and earned dollar $63. knee a bit sore from bruise otherwise OK. i'll probably be a bit a bit achy for a little while but am very grateful I didn't do any real damage.

kept hitting the snooze button this morning and tired all day. can't do it tomorrow as have to be up and showered by 8.00 for blood tests. oh, the joys of warfarin!

I do wish you could find a way to not keep getting colds as they always set you back. I don't doubt you've tried all the usual things like echinacea. Can you work at home this week?

knees and hands bruised. using ointment from doc instead of arnica. only other place i hurt is "good" shoulder but am limping today so thought it wiser not to walk.
are you feeling better?
took sleeping pill last night and slept in too this morning.
once did a free class on gigong and enjoyed it.

we often have more vowels:
orthopaedic, diarrhoea. apnoea, neighbour, favourite, etc.
