might try cycle sunday. at present i'm planning on using it when i watch TV. can be used for arms too but don't think it would be a good idea to try this week.

cleaner.
pain slightly less today so walked.
yes, but not allowed to do any of it this week. might try cycle in a couple of days.
met friends for coffee.
bought small desk at garage sale last weekend. in good condition but needing a touch of varnish. man came to put on first coat this afternoon and will also do same on nest of tables I've had for a long time..
'phoned sister and chatted for 3.5 hours.
tired. time to eat and then go to bed.

you did extremely well.

I was in a lot of pain last night and today physio said I was not as good as when I did strength & balance, wants me to keep going to dance class and can start to use minicycle this week, plus certain stretches, including two new ones. only allowed walk and gentle stretching today. guess we just have to persist unless we can find a better alternative.

did long meditation tape lying on bed but only eased pain slightly.

yes, many dances are on youtube. have a look. it's amazing what people put out. if you don't find them, then i think it's a good use of your dollars.

i enjoyed the class a lot. no class next week. don't know what will happen after that.

i'm not sure the therapy is doing me any good. meanwhile i'll persist. i didn't record food. don't think i overate, but i was surprised yesterday. i walked my hour and i danced.

you probably do, most places have mould, usually where it can't be seen or reached by householder. in any case you catch colds very easily and they last longer than most people's so it seems to indicate that that you have a particular problem, e.g. lack of some vitamin, mineral or high sensitivity.''

language class but teacher away sick. belly dancing. ladybird says I can look for dances on u-tube, she's not willing to let me waste her dollars on buying dvds.

i'm not on chrome.

enjoy dance class. getting new members should encourage instructor to continue.

thanks. i do, too. my husband claims to be better already. wonder if we have mold or something? missing an out of state wedding tomorrow but not sorry not to make the trip or overeat.

walked a little and ate too much. deficit of only 177 cal and i'm not asleep yet!

better than it was but still not really happy. exercise class cancelled but walked and got home just before storm.

doc - wants me to have more blood tests. still thinks i should have more vit D even tho last test result was good.

is eggplant supposed to be better underdone? someone told me today that she has two poached eggs and avocado on toast for breakfast. sounds a bit heavy to me.

i thought your physio said to take it easy? hope you're better.

yes, she comes most weeks for two hours. so i have to have her after my neighbor. she won't travel for just 2 hrs.

i do not enjoy therapy or the pain it causes or the time it takes to go or do at home. i hope it's helping.

$149 walked an hour and a half. tired.

glad you enjoyed dance class, there weren't many in my class yesterday.

headspace still trying to tempt me to go back with special offers.

physio came, said no strength exercises for a couple of days.

new computer tech managed to get my outside monitor working again, put back some things W10 removed and deleted others I didn't want.

elderly friend gave us a scare Monday but feeling much better today.

visualize your white cells eating the bugs. doesn't work for me.

good belly dancing. we had lovely dance class. but there were only 5 of us. hopefully after the summer people will return.

i think inches matter more than pounds. muscle is heavier than fat. i can see i've lost arm and leg muscle.

woman behind me in language class kept coughing and sneezing and one next to me told her she would be to blame if we had colds. I agree so fingers crossed.

belly dancing. she does a very thorough warm up and today taught us a couple of new moves, which was good as I started level with the others on those.

good for you being positive.

you may well be doing better than me. my scales are lurking somewhere under the bed but I know by the way my clothes fit that I have put on weight since I last updated the tracker..

It doesn't matter how we keep track as long as the weight is going down.

glad u feel better.

you are a lot more wonderful than a vast majority of people. we demand of ourselves. and that has pos and neg qualities.

i don't enjoy meditating. boring? i'm not good at boring. right now i have the time.

sitting uncomfortable rather than painful. happens quicker than it used to. if it makes me get up more often, this too has a good side.

wishing our critters success :)

i'm coming after you in weight, too. can't see you now, but maybe will with stronger glasses (and some weight loss). you'd better be a moving target. :)

felt a lot better so walked and went to exercise class.

thank you for the compliment but I am far from wonderful. forgot to mention that I had also done the TM [transcendental meditation] course years ago and received personal mantra. switched to other things because they wanted 20 minutes every morning and every evening and I found it hard to fit in. must be honest and say I got it at a reduced rate for students as I was doing a part-time study course.

I still get the feeling you don't want to spend time meditating. it's not quite the same but any time you spend absorbed in something, e.g. painting, drawing and maybe even computer games, is beneficial because your mind is not racing around multi-tasking.

that must be extremely painful and impact a lot on your life. I still have more padding than I want there but have lost it under the ball of one foot, which can make walking quite painful at times.

I don't think we've ever been this close before. our critters are going to be pushing us to earn dollars.

occasions happen. coffee was good choice. forgive and back on wagon.

thanks for story. wonder how much it contributed to the wonderful person you are.

going to meditate ...writing to you during a meditation. still not too good at it.
done...

wonder if therapy counts as meditation. must focus to keep track of reps, sets, holds, and engage all the right muscles.

did i tell you i had no glute muscles? also little fat. think the therapy to strengthen glutes has removed the little padding i had. finding it harder (literally) to sit.

still a bit niggly but much better. think I stood up awkwardly.

having a rest day. yesterday went to local fete, met friend and we went to her place where I ate a tiny iced cake, then we went back to fete as she'd left something there and found the people who had organised it had packed up their stalls and were sitting drinking champagne and eating snacks. knew some of them who insisted we stay. had coffee instead of champagne but couldn't resist the crackers and dips. told lady bird that she'd had enough treats and couldn't expect any more for quite a while.

difficult to say. went to yoga class run by Indian guru for many years. teachers all had to go to ashram in India for training and reported back to him about each student. he was very strict and at one time when I had an injury interviewed me and wrote a personal program which I had to follow until he judged I could go back to normal exercises. after 24 months suitable students were allowed to do "concentration" as he said it would take many, many years to be able to meditate. at that time I was very conscientious but since then I've dabbled with different yoga and meditation groups. some were OK but there were long periods when I did nothing. at the moment i'm using some cds and occasionally the free headspace. they help but i'd like to find something better. phew!!! you probably just wanted a number.

cataract op not serious. people usually go home same day unless they live alone. good you walked.

you can only wait and see.

cleaner this morning then short walk. tired, earned dollar but didn't achieve much else.

cataracts progressing, but fixable by stronger eyeglass prescriptions for the time being. he wants me to come back for another test, but i scheduled it end of september. walked back from doc.

when got home, had yellow/green mucous from nose (excuse me). got nervous i'd done too much and called and canceled tomorrow's therapy. then realized i'd never seen such bright colored mucous and remembered that one of the three sets of drops he put in my eyes is usually green. i think that's what i saw. will decide tomorrow if i want to try to get my slot back.

thought i'd get back to work seriously in august, but it isn't happening. i'm just doing bits here and there. i hope i won't be terribly pressured in sept and october.

biopsy said growth removed from face was a wart. i'm not sure she got it all.

all 3 polyps are benign. thus i have 6 months to repeat colonoscopy and remove third polyp. he wants me to recover from this one first.

now i think all i have left is the stress test i canceled. not overly inclined to do it anytime soon.

all these exercise breaks make me lose whatever muscle i build. hard to make real progress this way.

turtle and i are so pleased and proud of you. does drooling lose weight? it's only water, though.

of course keep dancing. do your best. it'll get easier with time. i may have dance class tuesday. better be all better by then.

must decide if i should walk to eye doc and or go to therapy tomorrow.

sounds as if you're getting better. hope cardio can help.

physio this morning. says to keep on belly dancing as I need the exercise.

your loss is probably mostly fluid and fat.

walked a lot at shopping centre. bumped into people I know so had coffee with them. ladybird was drooling over what they were eating but we didn't have anything.

keep improving!

finally decided on doc. not taking new patients. asked cardiologist for help since he recommended him.

sorry about strength and balance. it's good for you. sounds like belly dancing is, too.

sinuses clearing up. coughing a little.

wonder if weight i lost is water, muscle or fat.

tonight is cleaner. tomorrow is eye doc.

wanted to try headspace beginning of august, but it ran away from me.

hope you find one who is suitable.

don't know. As I have never met her, I told her I would be very interested to know how things are going but feel it is up to her to contact me is she wishes.

the owner knows one of them is hers but the wife won't know which. owner says she will let me know what happens.

seems definite there will be no more strength & balance classes for me. went to language class and then to belly dancing. exhausting as I don't know the moves and the dances and so many parts of the body are in motion at the same time.

census day so have to fill in the form this evening.

improving slowly. decided not to go to doc. want a new one. kind of settling on an office if i can get in. don't know which of the two partners i want.

it'll work out with wife of tech. won't be easy transition. may have to pay for help. shouldn't make big changes right away. someone must pay bills. i hope she had automatic deposit of income.

at least you identified one computer owner.

glad not very, happier not at all.

she needs all the help she can get but I didn't have anyone special. I just
struck lucky.

she would be around 70. he was 72, had had experience with computers, started helping people after he retired and it grew into a business. never advertised, clients came when others recommended him. hope so but he handled financial matters, just hope everything was in joint names. spoke to lady at exercise class whose computer he took home to install a new hard drive. wife doesn't know who owns the computers and when I spoke to her she had the flu. I feel so sorry for her.

still sick. not very. no doc till tomorrow. bored. too much.

good bank is solved.

so sad for tech's wife. suspicions are salt on the wound. sounds like she needs a helper in the bank, like you seem to have. i hope he provided well for her. is she young? he was still working.

very wise to take it easy.

solved problem with bank and brought payments up-to-date. no formal exercise but a lot of bending, stretching and lifting getting things ready for hard rubbish collection.

talked with wife of computer tech yesterday [1.5 hours]. her husband said he slipped outdoors and fell down, hitting his head on the car. came in and she cleaned him up, then he fell again and died. ambulance men called police because he was so bruised and covered with blood and they were highly suspicious, especially as he had just bought six new computers for a company and had others he had brought home to service in his workshop. they took his body off for an autopsy but. after checking his medical records and his occupation decided it wasn't necessary. she has no children, does not even know how to do internet banking and does not know who the owners of the computers are. it put my problems into perspective.

no. already gained back half a pound even on soft food diet.

enjoy the cycle.

enjoy the tea. did ladybird get her chocolates?

my thyroid nodules remain unchanged. last time he said i could paint iodine cuz i didn't absorb enough to make a difference (though i feel a difference). this time he said it gets absorbed and i can't. he said we get enough from diet. but i proved to him that i don't. another thing to research.

i'm very tired. have a great weekend.

fixable good but frustrating re repeat colonoscopy..

fantastic but you can't live that way.

cycle unpacked but need to get non-slip mat to use it on hard floor in lounge.

walked a lot at shopping centre. found organic turmeric tea. ladybird wanted chocolates and was not impressed by that or manuka honey.

was insurance problem, but fixable.

i'm still not done. need repeat colonoscopy. wish he weren't in such a rush because he was late.

yes, i'm down to 137 pounds.

sorry you got wet. umbrella or raincoat?


you'll need to find a new tech. try to separate from personal loss. not easy.

turtle says meditate!! not good for your heart to skip it. ladtbird wants to replenish her dollars :) have you unpacked the cycle or the toothbrush?

hope so too.

You are going through a horrible time but think you were wise not to procrastinate.

I remember how limiting it was to have just soft foods when I had my jaw problem. ladybird says only bright spot is that you may lose weight.

walked, got wet again.

Windows 10 won't let me use external monitor. Says to either re-download 10 or put in new video card, which I don't want to do myself. Will have to find new computer technician or live with the inconvenience.

Not being good about meditating this last couple of days. Must get back to it again.

just lost big post. will redo some.

:( sorry about your tech. you saw him often enough to become a friend. if one is going to die, sudden is good. nothing good about patient and loved ones suffering. best is to be well.

lab for face thing left me a message. hope not an insurance problem.

preparation wasn't bad. even procedure wasn't the most painful. but..
he took off one polyp. he electrocuted a second bigger polyp. put in a clip to prevent bleeding.i'm on liquids for second and part of third day. then soft food for a week. biopsied a third yet bigger polyp. wants to take it out later under anesthesia. when depends on result. preparation and colonoscopy again. i hope it's not just because he was late. said it would take more time to remove.

was running late. i waited a long time. nurse came to dismiss me before it was even done. tried to do mindfulness. not too well. i see what they mean by practicing so you can do it when needed. my pressure was very high during and after. imagined my favorite spot with the nurse to lower it.

sorry about your tech. you certainly saw enough of him to be a friend. suddenly is good, if one is going to die. i see no advantage to suffering and having loved ones suffer. of course, the best is to be well.

actually lab for face left me a message. hope there's no problem.

preparation wasn't bad. procedure wasn't routine. took off one small polyp.electrocuted off a big polyp (which restricts my eating) and put a clip to prevent bleeding. left in a bigger complex polyp which he just biopsied. how soon he will take it out depends on results. wants me in hospital with anesthesia for this one. will have to do the prparation again, too.
