you had a full day. glad you enjoyed visit and hope you got lots done.

doc wants me to go to the specialist with all the data. i'd prefer to go to the specialist before i subject myself to X-rays and let him decide which i need.

have been sitting on three pillows by the computer so the keyboard is where the therapist wants it so i won't raise my shoulders. it's a little unsteady, which is good for the core (like working while sitting on a ball. but i think i'm steadying myself with my leg and could be contributing to my newest problem. wish it is that simple. still means i'm fragile, but not terrible.

happy weekend. tired and glad it's coming. got invited out for dinner on saturday. will be the usual challenge. guess i'll drag turtle along, sigh.

we both have.

"no good deed goes unpunished" very well put. it's not good to have to put in extra time [for which i hope he pays you] but it is nice to know he's happy with your work.

hope you can find another one.

it's a nuisance that x-ray place isn't close to home but you usually like to go to places which have been recommended.

cleaner this morning. likes to talk but is always willing to help in any way I ask.

visitor this afternoon - enjoyable.

gardener later - not an expert but very likeable. also willing to include extra tasks if I ask.

you have too many pains.

actually, i got the second project because i'm competent. he didn't put me in charge, but he expected me to help the woman who is. i don't like the direction in which she wants to take it. the third is really more something like quality assurance. i have to check my boss' work. i've done it before for him, so i get to do it again. no good deed goes unpunished. i don't mind the work. i mind the time it takes, and if he leaves some things till the last minute, i'll be under pressure when my two will be due as well.

dance teacher officially retired.

i've been dismissed from neck/shoulder therapy and told to do a bunch of exercises twice a day. returning to knee and hip.

doc took blood looking for inflammatory markers and referred me for an x-ray. i think it hurts less after his examination. he doesn't think it's a dying nerve, which is a relief. some of the stuff he's testing for is no good either. now to get me to xray place he prefers. maybe i should have requested something closer.

it's not heart failure but because I had also had to have an AV node ablation, which has cut off all communication between the upper and lower chambers of the heart. This is the reason that I am totally dependent on the pacemaker to keep me alive.

I know just how you feel and hope the internist can help you.

limped my painful way to u3a today but could barely put any weight on one leg.

another long and painful session with the physiotherapist this afternoon. it helped a bit but hip/leg and neck still far from right. skin problem has flared up again so hope i'll sleep tonight.

it's a pity you've got to take on another project at the moment. that's the price you
pay for being competent.

great news about lung and water. pacemaker isn't news. but it just stimulates the heart. the heart still pumps?? must be working if no fluid in lungs. not heart failure. reintroduce fluids very slowly, i think.

thanks, yes i enjoyed long weekend.

made appt by internist instead of picking specialist myself for leg. it hurts. moving and not moving. foot, ankle, leg. sometimes feels like it goes up to hip. hope it's not nerve. felt a little dizzy once today. want to discuss that, too. docs don't like multiple problems. plus my usual pressure, cholesterol and sugar.

long rushed full day today. accomplished. tired. got another project. tried to stall it and failed. won't be bad work.

partly but also feeling exhausted. had long and painful session with physio, the doctor came and gave me test results. don't have fluid on lungs so don't need to restrict intake any further but heart in worse state than expected. emphasised my heart was not keeping me alive, only pacemaker, which I knew anyway. it's good it has it's own battery. just as i'd decided to lie down, someone rang and offered me a ride to a meeting I wanted to attend. interesting but went on too long.

sounds as if work is going well. it's a good job you had the break and a chance to get your strength back. what is the problem with the foot?

skin driving me crazy but leg and shoulders easier today. took sleeping table last night and slept in, chatted on 'phone for a couple of hours and went for short walk.

haven't been dizzy this week.

absolutely exhausted after very bad night.

should have gone shopping but extra physio treatment instead. very long and painful. only allowed a couple of leg stretches at the moment but can try short, gentle walk at the weekend.

turtle will have to be vigilant but the exercise will help.

podiatrist and physio.

setback - could barely put any weight on one leg. physio says problem is hip, gave me a thorough and very painful treatment and has told me to take painkillers, use a heat pack and rest. hope i'll be OK for u3a this week.

I love nuts but have to ration them.

I like people too. I get quite a lot of visitors and 'phone calls but I miss those I can't see at the moment.

enjoy the snow. used to love making snowmen and having snowball fights when I was a kid. would be good exercise now.

yes, we get some heavy snow most years. no, i didn't go in to work. actually got a lot done at home, though.

ate too many nuts. also made and ate popcorn. was nice. then neighbors downstairs came up to help me finish the fruit. was nice, too. i like people.

hard to imagine snow in this weather. do you get heavy snow most years? Can you get to work?

Had ECG. Hurt shoulder trying to keep arm in awkward position.

Large stand full of chocolate bars by the counter in the post office. Could almost taste the chocolate. Very tempted but resisted.

thanks, i too wish her strength and her daughter a recovery.
good. enjoy the book. real food. not too much. mostly freggies.
had melon, pistachios and water today. ignored the cake that was calling me.should start recording food. should also go see what i ate when i lost. need to move more.
too tired.

bad news. my friend lost her brother 2 weeks ago. now her daughter who was pregnant with her first child was diagnosed with cancer. they took the baby by cesarean. he's fine. now they are working on her.

not surprised you feel dizzy if your blood pressure is low. something to be taken seriously. have friend who had that problem, fell, broke her hip and has never walked freely again.

i thought i posted last night.

seated exercises is another good choice. there are many around.

my mouse stopped working. don't like using touch pad on laptop. touchpad requires that i keep non-functioning mouse plugged in ??

therapist sick. sub is gentler.

have a look www.healthmantra.com/food_guide.pdf cute little book. pretty much on target. i mostly follow it, i think. except for eat less. not enough.

dizziness getting worrisome. my blood pressure was low. new recent phenomenon. hasn't happened in decades. waiting to see blood test results and then appt with new internist planned.

off antibiotics. getting back on supplements

ignored turtle. ate candied popcorn to celebrate my return to hard food. probably had HFCS. also had melons.

neck and shoulder pains got better this afternoon. hope she's helping and not harming.

hope your ankle goes down quickly. ice? raise it? i guess you must stay off it. upper stretches were a good choice.

are you still off antibiotics and just back on vitamin/mineral supplements?

I have the same problem but usually feel some benefit, at least in the shoulder, the next day.

one ankle still very swollen this morning so just did upper body stretches.

good you used your time stuck and don't feel frustrated. hope you did something physical.

turtle did good job. ate perfectly. drank water. gained no weight. now to start losing again....

dizziness improved but not gone. haven't called any doc. starting supplements again.

PT made me hurt.

glad you're taking breaks. has the dizziness stopped completely?

cleaner this morning and later had to wait in for delivery, which should have arrived today but didn't. took advantage of having to stay in to catch up on a lot of tasks so didn't feel upset.

my sincer aplogy. i seem to have forgotten to write to you.

too much on my mind.

thanks, i do take at least 15 min doing puzzles. and at least 10 min exercising generally. trick is to meditate and move ore, etc.

hope you work out the rest of the frustrations easily.
wedding tonight. plan to take turtle along. officially back to normal diet. must introduce fiber slowly and not clebrate with too many calories.

hope it goes soon.

physio this morning - another new exercise - walked at shopping centre this afternoon.

solved one problem re delivery from store, another one said would deliver today but hasn't, plus I am still struggling to get a refund from somewhere else for $899 which I should not have been charged.

it sounds as though you are going to be very busy with work. I know how hard it is but try to find at least 10-15 minutes every day for yourself - walk round the block. meditate, listen to music, anything to have a break.

turtle sends ladybird a big hug. emoticon rewards are to be enjoyed.

enjoy the sprouter. hope it contributes to your health. i'm not allowed to eat sprouts. too much autoimmune stuff going on.

waiting a little longer to call doc. not gone yet.

you must do your best to walk. talk to your docs.

facebook is a time trap. i dare not start.

am fighting over $1000 salary that i didn't get in 2016 that they claim i got. not sure yet if human or computer error. it's a lot of money, even after taxes.

started working on the big new project. making me a little nervous. afraid will take much time on the computer. already cost me sleep. not unenjoyable. he did a part of it and gave it to me to build on. he also gave me a revision of an old project to work on. he wants me to help the person he put in charge. (at least that's not me.) continuing with 3 ongoing not very challenging projects. i don't like juggling. will have to be disciplined.

need to meditate and do physical therapy and drink and sleep and exercise. ought to give my neglected gums some attention, too. i've gotten rid of a few library books in these two weeks. don't know who is right. i suspect if i followed any consistently, i'd benefit.
