was so tired I was afraid i would fall asleep and not hear the doorbell. driver not allowed to leave delivery without getting a signature. however, I made sure meditating was a priority today.

just realised that if I need anything for the holiday break [other than food] i'll need to start ordering this week.

worthwhile tradeoff.

can't you meditate while waiting for food? better to risk being interrupted than not to meditate at all. i haven't meditated for a few days. hope i will, soon.

i also raise my shoulders. would be good if i learned to lower them. just did. for how long?

actually managed desperately needed rest during day. at cost of not finishing my salad. worth it.

cleaner came. she's a talker but on the other hand she's willing to do extra little jobs if necessary.

decided to meditate and have a rest after she left but someone else turned up unexpectedly and by the time she left I had to wait for food delivery.

sounds familiar. my physio tells me to walk round at home with my hands clasped behind my back to counteract the tendency to lean forward when my shoulders are really painful.

glad you enjoyed the dancing and hope class continues.

better your forgetting the umbrella than the mother forgetting the baby and leaving it with you.

also wish it would clear up!

december again! already!

lol. i hope they have not. wouldn't like such "companions".

therapist did what i think yours does. dug into my shoulders and hurt me. but i'm not sore now. she wants me to maintain good posture and not lean over when i write and type. quite a challenge.

enjoyed dance class. was small. hope she will continue. let someone hold my umbrella while i held someone' s baby. forgot to get it back.

I did sleep for a while last night but skin problem is bad today. physio wouldn't even touch one leg because he said it looked inflamed and was afraid that the gel he used would make it worse. do wish it would clear up.

gardener came this afternoon. wished me a happy Christmas - it's getting far too close.

must be the spam season. seem to be getting at least two a day and now the Bank of America is going to prosecute me it I don't make a payment. Do you think ladybird has been flying over to join turtle and they've been living it up at my expense?

I was in bed by midnight but did not sleep at all. Very tired today.

I shan't need mine for quite a while but you will need yours soon.

Yes, we seem to spend a lot of time doing exercises without feeling any benefit.

no, i wasn't involved with what i was doing. i did only a little work.

ok. fitting into street sweepers is our goal.

hope you slept well.

therapist working on my neck now instead of my knees. won't do both. i must do the knee exercises on my own, not that i see any improvement.

You're worse than I am. I did get about 90 minutes but couldn't get back to sleep again. Were you too involved with what you were doing to go to bed or just couldn't fall asleep?

I still have two long wool skirts in excellent condition but too tight at the moment. Friend and neighbour where I lived at one time called them my "street sweepers".

Used face wash instead of soap in shower this morning and did well until the afternoon when things flared up again. Hope it doesn't keep me awake tonight.

i have nothing against my visitor other than she pushes herself on me. i really don't like that. didn't sleep till 6:30 AM.

hope your dermatitis is quieting down.

went shopping for grandaughter. 50% off. got her a skirt and 2 tops. got me an all-weather skirt cuz it fit and was cheap. i want a long wool skirt and can't find one. walked a little.

must start recording and earning again. i'm back at my plateau.

meant to post earlier but had to get food order in by certain time to get delivery tomorrow.

my visitor was someone I was happy to see. sorry yours wasn't.

short walk yesterday but won't make it today.

dermatitis could have been caused by contact with chemicals, e.g. in soap. not made easier by stress and dry skin due to fluid restriction. am taking anti-histamines and have ordered calamine lotion, both of which are also recommended. it's not contagious and, hopefully, will subside after a few days.

can't go to sleeep without checking on you.

hope you enjpyed your visitor. someone i didn't care to host came to visit me. she brought her visitor with her. what did she need me for when she already had company? not the first time she pushed herself on me. she's retired and bored. i'm not. prevented me from going into neighbor i wanted to visit.

glad you got the quiet day you wanted. rest of my day was good, too.

you don't need this dermatitis. any clue about cause? hope it resolves quickly.

Someone came round for a while but otherwise quiet, which is what I wanted.

Have what I think is dermatitis on hands and ankles. Pharmacist says it is not contagious and has sold me some hydrocortisone ointment. The itching does not make it any easier to sleep so slept for an hour after meditation today.

glad you found partners but ladybird says you can always take turtle with you.

shopping centre so feel I've walked enough today.

went to private insurance company as web site didn't seem to be working. was told they were trying to simplify it as people couldn't understand how to use it. I thought it was good as it showed past claims and how much you still had available. Not now. Now you also have to enter the site and claim for every visit separately. As the physio often presents a bill for 16 visits at a time, it's not worth the effort of going online. When an organisation finally sets up a good system it is not available for long. Perhaps you should tell your friends I also moan a lot but I know you will understand as you've had more than your fair share of frustration.

I'm always reluctant to get to bed but wish I could sleep better when I do.

don't know yet if i'll keep it. just did a part. i have 21 days to decide.

mirrror and clothes are more important than scales. scales are just easier to guage. but you are so limited in what you can do. at least you don't way much, even if you are not at your ideal. you can only try. certainly don't gain more.

that i "talk" to you about health, diet , exercise and what we did that day. and that you are in australia. and i didn't tell you where i live or what my profession is. they understood. had i described you, i would have said intelligent, positive and compassionate.

physio - different exercises, says keep trying to walk.

i like my neighborhood.

interesting day. 2 free lunches. had a slice of pizza at each. ate the lunch i had brought for supper. not sure what i would have eaten for supper. couldn't walk either way. better go do something.

couldn't get it finally sorted until today but OK now.

It sounds a good place to live.

u3a for Spanish. Saw one of the ladies who used to go to the strength & balance class and had a long chat.

yes, frustrating. hope it's all sorted.

glad printer is done.

i don't live in a small town. we have a big close friendly block. this is a neighbor across the street.

turtle says thanks, but she's not pleased enough with herself.

frustrating day trying to deal with people who messed up arrangements and I had to sort things out. only positive things were finishing setting up printer and walking for eight minutes. hard and didn't enjoy it but couldn't expect it to be easy.

glad you enjoyed walk. i'm not happy with the way some of my clothes fit and am all for losing weight

I've never known anyone go to so many engagement parties and weddings. is it because you live in a small town or do you just know a lot of people?

ladybird is pleased with turtle. she is doing a good job.

sorry you got rained out. catching up feels good.

good. had intended to walk but just as I was ready to put on my shoes friend rang. wanted info and advice and by the time I was free it was raining heavily.

caught up on some domestic chores and did homework.

I know how you feel. mine isn't new doc but commented last time that I had put on weight. perhaps i'll lose a bit before I see him!

nice day. had pineapple and popcorn. not bad.walked with neighbor/partner. she makes me walk fast good for me.

hope you find an acceptable solution.

shopping centre today - exhausted. have an old black and white laser printer I've been using but was really missing copy, etc, so bought another inkjet today.

is your reason for not taking the opportunity financial or just that you enjoy the work?

if you think you will be able to get there it would be worth paying in advance.

wasn't much, i rewrote it.

teeth are in back. i manage to overeat without them. :) i don't chew well out of habit. not lack of teeth.

glad you walked and enjoyed neighbor.

yes, i'm ready to work. have opportunity to half-retire. tempting, but probably not.

dance teacher wants commitment (money in advance) for 5 weeks. will probably do it.

shame, now we won't know what you said.

nasty. guess it depends on whether gap is visible and/or teeth there are necessary for eating. will go as soon as I can but a bit stuck at the moment.

sunny. managed my five minutes and got talking to neighbour. pleasant.

printer died. may have been power surge - have now ordered protector - or because i'd had it eight years. was offered one from someone who no longer needed it but, after wasting time, we discovered it was not compatible with windows 10. now have to choose and buy another.

you sound much more able to tackle it after your holiday.

he pulled two teeth to remove my cyst. insurance won't cover.
go to dentist ASAP.

wish I could do it. couldn't even fit in short walk today because u3a in the morning and TV technician in the afternoon. at least that's one project finalised.

have you lost a tooth or is it just that you may lose it? implants are horrendously expensive so. if you did have one would it be covered by insurance? private health insurance would not contribute much to the cost here. on the other hand, the thought of a plate is most unpleasant. hope it's not necessary for you.

I should have gone for a dental check up two months ago but, because of health problems, have put it off. must go.

glad you enjoyed the persimmon and turtle would approve.

takes a lot of walking time to burn off food calories.

dentist wants me to get implant. don't want to. want to ask surgeon to whom i went for second opinion (want to talk to him over the phone). walked home. had a delicious persimmon. just right rotten. from an expensive store along the way.

getting closer.

had time to walk but rained off. joined 10-minute challenge years ago. thought it might be an incentive but when I saw the times being posted decided it would be more depressing than helpful.

walking probably burned off your food calories.

my intentions were good but then had to stay in unexpectedly because man was free to come and take TV cabinet and record player away. Pity but worth it. 75% done, only have to arrange for TV tech to come now.

Found a wrapped chocolate when I was tidying the food cupboard so ate it, it being the chocolate and not the cupboard..
