'Keep it Simple' It really is VERY simple.

1.Find out exactly how many cals are recommended by Spark for you to lose weight.

2.Keep within that cal. limit.

3.Track your food daily. healthy food is low in cals
and you can eat very well on it. Give up junk food until you lose your weight, you dont need it.

4. Drink your water.

5. Exercise, if you cannot get to the Gym, WALK for 30min every day, even if its ten minutes at a time.

Result: Weight loss.emoticon

Well I've had a look, I was surprised because I use some of those techniques. the one that always works for me is, when I am tempted, I stop and ask myself, What am I going to feel like when I have eaten it? I imagine that I have just eaten it and I feel discussed with myself for eating all those empty calories, then I come back to the present and say No.
that has worked for me. If I see the book, I'll have a look at it.emoticon

I'm reading the "BECK Diet Solution" which isn't a "diet" but how to THINK like a THIN person. I got a copy from the library. Dr. Beck is a therapist who uses Cognitive Therapy, which teaches u how to answer back when u get negative thoughts. (I'll eat that chocolate cake and start my diet tomorrow....) She says that we have to learn to THINK like a THIN person and the book is well worth reading. emoticon

Working on my night cravings still.

Went to McDonald's today, and I'd not been there in months. Got a $1 Sundae which was great for me, as I'd usually get the LARGE shake.

I'm determined to get this fat off and keep it off.

Day 86-7 Working my BECK DIET Solution book and last night I didn't have cravings which is a HUGE victory for me! Had some Pysllium Husks for fiber yesterday although I HATE the stuff, I think it did help.

Day 84-5 Didn't do great on my BECK last night as I had Peanuts when I had cravings about 8 PM, but BECK DIET SOLUTION techniques are helpful and I know it is like learning to play tennis, you to PRACTICE and keep at it, so I'm pushing onward.

DAY 82-3 Doing ATKINS and staying with it.

I 'm reading the "BECK Diet Solution" and doing the workbook, as I got it at the library. I recommend it to everyone, since it teaches HOW to THINK like a thin person. It isn't a "diet." She gives LOTS of help with staying motivated and talking back to that inner voice who wants to cheat! emoticon

this morning when I got up, i wasn't up for the day ahead .I dreaded going to my bookclub because I was afraid that as usual I would eat all the biscuits, then I put on Echart Toille and it changed everything. I went to the club, in great form and had coffee and water. Thanks for giving me his link.emoticonHave a great week and let's know how you are doing with Atkins.
