Went to the movie last night to celebrate Nathan's 32nd birthday. He's a cancer survivor so each birthday means so much when I think about what could have happened.

That was a smart thing to do and I bet you dropped some weight too..

I ask my DH to do that and not to stop eating 2&3 slices of white bread when we first married 35 years ago. He only drank Coke-a-Cola, "The Real Thang" as he called it. He never drank water and still doesn't drink much (he's back to drinking soda's, now it's IBC Root Beer not The Real Thang). But, in a very short time (as it happens for men) he lost a lot of weight. Since it was 35 years ago, I don't remember how much. My point is that everything we put into our mouth affects our weight and health.
