Well, Wednesday I packed a lunch and forgot it at home. I had to buy my lunch but at least I went with a smarter choice of roasted vegetable lasagne. I went over my desired calories by also buying some chocolate milk.

I took the lunch with me yesterday when I was teaching but after evaluating it, it turned out to be a quite high calorie meal. I'll have to watch that for next time.

I weighed in this morning. I wasn't going to until Dec. 1 but I figured maybe I'll weigh in every Friday just to track myself. I weighed in at 157. Now, I'm not jumping for joy yet as my initial weigh in was just after I ate lunch, but at least I get to change my ticker tracker!

Plan for the day:

Eat less! I need to really control my portions. That's some place that I have a downfall cause I love to eat and I know it.

Walk - my goal for the week was to walk 5 miles. I only have about a mile left so it'll be easy to do. My problem is that I don't burn enough calories simply walking but I'm really not motivated to start running yet.

Every other time I've tried to run I've given up fairly quickly. I think the longest I kept it up was three weeks. With walking, I feel like it's something I'd enjoy more and am more likely to get up off the chesterfield to do.

So I guess my point is that I'm going to take the lesser calorie burning work-out in favour of keeping active period. At least I'll be out doing something even if I'm not working as hard as I could be.

This afternoon I'm working in the mall. The place of many many temptations. I have exactly enough change to get a coffee but that is all I'm going to get there! I've declared it! And only one sugar instead of two!

I was thinking of buying a dinner for tonight but I think that doing that might make me give into my temptation too much. Like I said last night, I need to be prepared.

I have whole wheat wraps in the fridge so I will pack something for myself and hopefully that will keep me from eating anything unhealthy and full of garbage.

I've learned from the personality quiz that I'm the type of person who has to be prepared in order to stick to my goals.

My downfall is the evenings! I'm an evening snacker! I need to prepare myself better with healthy choice snacks.

I was doing so well today too...and then we went to the movies...

So my next weigh in is going to be on December 1st. Right after Thanksgiving...great. What kind of motivation am I going to get there! Anyway, the holiday's are a reality of life. I shouldn't let it get me down. Ideally though, my weight by then should be 158. I've marked it on my calendar.

I'm Stacy and I'm not a weightloss expert. I hope to become one though!

I'm 25 years old and every since I got married and started taking birth control the scale in my bathroom has slowly been creeping up and up. I want it to go the opposite direction and I'm hoping that this journey will be the way to make it do that.

There are a few reasons I want to lose weight, the first being that I don't want to buy more clothes. I am getting depressed because I'm running out of clothes that fit me but I refuse to buy more.

Second, I'm going on a missions trip in March and it would be nice to be in shape for that so that I will be physically more ready to help the people in Ecuador.

Third, I'm going to be in a wedding in August and I don't want to be a chunky bridesmaid! I know that the bride is going to be the belle of the ball as she should be, but that doesn't mean that I can't look good too right?

Those are the main reasons but I'm sure I could think of others but I won't bore you too much. I'm sure you can figure it out.

My current weight is...dun dun dun...160lbs. Now, I just ate lunch and a bunch of water so I know that's not the way you're supposed to measure yourself, but, that's what I'm going to use as my starting weight. By the wedding in August (about 258 days) I would like to be 130lbs. Just over one and a half pounds every two weeks - I think that's pretty realistic.

So here is an overview of my current stats and my future goals:

Current:

Weight: 160
Height: 5'4"
BMI: 27.5
Waist:34
Hip:42
Neck: 13.25
Thigh: 24.5
Calf: 15
Arm: 12

February 1 Goal:

Weight: 150
Height: 5'4"
BMI: 25.8
Waist:32
Hip:40
Neck: 13
Thigh: 23
Calf: 14.25
Arm: 11.5

May 1 Goal

Weight: 140
Height: 5'4"
BMI: 24.1
Waist:30
Hip:38
Neck: 12.75
Thigh: 21.5
Calf: 13.5
Arm: 11

August 14 Goal

Weight: 130
Height: 5'4"
BMI: 22.4
Waist:28
Hip:36
Neck: 12.5
Thigh: 20
Calf: 13
Arm: 10.5

I know these are pretty specific, but, how else will I know I'm making or not making my goals?

Hopefully I'll be able to pull this off!

Black Bean "Hummus"
Submitted By: SP_STEPF

This dip doesn't have many of the same ingredients as hummus, but it is about the same consistency. I spread this on bread or tortillas with vegetables for a quick sandwich, I dip carrots and celery into it, and I eat it with tortilla chips for a snack. Full Recipe
