How about some interval training with your walk? Go faster or run for some minutes and then go on your regular speed for the other minutes. Look up internal training in the search engine for more details/

About a year ago I stopped driving to and from work and began to walk! I realized something yesterday that took me by surprise. Walking back and forth to work 40 minutes each way is no longer enough fitness for me. Now I need to figure out what else I can fit into my days? How should I do this?
