That's great. Good for you. I can only drink water during exercise and after I brush my teeth. The rest of the time I drink green tea plain with no sugar or milk added. More power to you for giving up soda.

I too struggled with drinking water this winter, but after watching my daughter guzzle down cup after cup from a water bottle she carries around most of the day, I bought a water bottle for myself and carried it around with me for th past couple days wih ice cold water. Now I am averaging about 6 cups daily. It is amazing how a simple change makes a huge difference. I am noticing I feel better, and less hungry now! Vast improvement.
Every day is a new beginning.

I struggle with drinking 8 glasses of water every day. I can manage 2-4 glasses of water. If I have crystal light iced tea I can drink all 8 glasses. I am trying to break this habit. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to increase water in take? During the winter months I have a harder time doing this than during the warmer months.
I finally did it and made the full switch to drinking only water!! I gave up carbonated sodas about 6 months ago and that was real hard. But I switched to useing crystal light and drinking a pitcher a day along with my cup of coffee in the morning. This morning I was having my husband help me accurately calculate the calories for how much I drink and it was a lot plus we didn't like the suger substitute in it. That was the final straw, I'm tired of tricky labels and hidden suger I can't pronounce and my body doesn't need! Water is good!!!
