I went for a run tonight, the longest in quite awhile.
It was scheduled for a 2.5 mile run, but I started off about thirty seconds faster than my regular mile time (11:30 instead of 12), so I had to take a two minute walking break when I hit the first mile. Then I had to take a short walking break a little bit later. All together, the walking breaks were about .08 miles. Sooooo . . . I ended up doing 2.59 miles to make up for the walking breaks. It took 31:27.
I then found out from my Garmin that it was a new distance record!
All around, a good run. Kind of a small accomplishment, but I just wanted to share.
