I started in January at 223 lbs and body fat of 43%. Today, I hit 27% which puts me right into the high end of the normal range! I am sooooo excited!! I have only lost 2lbs in the last month, but my body fat has continued to decrease and my muscle has increased, so that has been encouraging! I spent so many years blaming my fat on family genes and a "poor metabolism." I wish I had gotten smarter years ago.
Well, just wanted to celebrate!
After an entire adulthood of being overweight and having 5 kids in 7 years, I decided January 1, 2013 that this was the year I would get in shape and fit. It's been 16 weeks and I am down 40 pounds. I feel better than I have since I played softball in college 23 years ago! Loving life !!
