I never thought I'd get into running, but yesterday two of my best friends and I ran/walked our first 5k! I pushed myself harder than I thought I could, and I'm so proud of my progress.
This 5k was a zombie run, where people dress as zombies and chase you, so it really got the adrenaline going!! So much fun.
Now I'm ready to do another--zombies or no zombies, I want to get back out there again. I've been doing the couch to 5k training program, and the day I can run the whole 5k will be an exciting day indeed.
