Well, this past 3 months has been quite a ride with the illness I've had. I took ill on Dec 29th last year and was really really sick for a month and pretty sick for another month and then not so great for another month.
I saw the lung specialist on Monday and there is now nothing seriously wrong with my lungs. My lung function and volume is good, it just hurts to full use it. My stamina is low, but I have been good about resting, mostly. I likely have another 3 months until full recovery.
But here's the celebration! I'm cleared for small amounts of exercise! To start with, other than getting more back into general household activities, I'll be doing about 10 minutes of light "exercise" 3 times a week. I put the exercise in quotes because under normal circumstances, I wouldn't consider a short walk any form of exercise, but the whole idea is that I continue to get better. I also adjusted my weight loss goals to way less than I was wanting to lose before, just so I'm not doing too many things at once. Once I'm back up to normal function, I'll probably readdress this, but for now I'm being cautious.
