I kicked off the fitness part of my journey on Jan.1 - no resolutions there it was just Tuesday and I had set Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays as my days to run. I go to the park near my house. It's a little under a half mile to the park and about 1 mile around it. I set as my first goal being able to run around the park without slowing down to walk. I figured I would hit that milestone in early February.
Well, I was out for a run on Thursday and before I knew it I had actually RUN around the park. Then I did again on Saturday and as I was making my way home I found myself running some more and when I got to the top of my block I felt so I good I ran right past it.
Next milestone - start running right at the entrance. It was so nice out today that I decided to put on my sneakers and take myself outside. Boom! Hit the next milestone - RAN from the entrance, around the park and all the way to the exit. Boom!
Can't wait to get outside on Tuesday and see where my feet take me.
