I went out for a jog this morning in the sunshine and a passing truck driver leaned out of his cab and whistled at me. Can I admit that I was a little flattered? I can guarantee no one was whistling at me 10kg ago!

I was officially inducted into the Honor Society Phi Kappa Phi at the University of Nevada Reno today!! I'm 51 years old and will be graduating with my Bachelor's degree in 30 days so I got a taste of accomplishment and it was wonderful!!

Well, it took me an extra year to do it, but I got down to my goal weight, even less than I was before I got pregnant. I have not been this weight for at least 6 years! All my pants keep falling off me. Now the goal is to keep it off! I just wanted to share my accomplishment.

My latest Grandson is one month old tomorrow. He's a miracle child as mom has had several misses. Today was a beautiful day. I love and I am loved. Many things to celebrate. SMASON6 ,congratulations on the 2 pound loss. Great job.

Last week I joined The Shooting Stars team, when I joined I weighed 148 and this week I weigh 146. I realize it a 2 pound lose but for me that is a great pheat. emoticon

A whole week binge free. 10 day streak of at least 10 minutes of yoga. And tonight, a plan to squeeze in a ten minute routine before bed ended up as 30 minutes which I feel great for. Good night to you all

I went to shop for Easter dresses this past weekend. Before starting my journey in Janurary, I was regularly wearing a size 16 and sometimes in a size 18 depending on what item it was. When I was at the store I grabbed size 14 to try with my fingers crossed that at least 1 would fit. Well none of them fit, they were all too big. I couldn't believe it. So I went back to the shelf to grab some size 12 and every single one that I put on fit me. I am so happy. I haven't been in a size 12 in over five years. Wooot!!!

Start by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

Overhaul on my eating program. I've switched to emphasizing vegetables and fruit as the mail focus of my diet. Less carbs, although I still eat whole grains occasionally so I get the nutrients. I've added in sambucus (elderberry supplements for my immune system) I'm frequently drinking Vitamin C jamba juices. I'm eating fruit strawberries every day and avocados, lentil soup, and no more bread or buttery popcorn.

I'm feeling 200% better more energy body is looking better, I'm back at zumba with twice as much energy, clothes are fitting better, my relationship with my fiance is better... plus i'm listening to positive affirmations and they are amazing.

have not weighed in for a while but noticed my pants getting looser and looser. went shopping today.................I'm in a size 18!! I know doesn't sound that great but for me IT IS AWESOME! I haven't been in a size 18 since I WAS 18! and i had to put back 2 1x shirts cause they were too big on me!!!!

My lunch success: I dissed the diet coke and went for unsweetened iced tea :) Ate 1 of the bread rolls instead of the 2 they gave me. Ordered a delicious salad. I feel great!!

Made it to my workout sessions all three days this week, took an evening walk, Spent 4 hours walking all over two huge stores pushing a heavy cart. Doing desk exercises when I'm online... busy and productive week. Also started a personal food diary. Still baby steps but moving ahead!

I got my blood work results after a year of working out and eating right. My cholesterol is perfect, My blood sugar A1C is 5.9 and Blood pressure is perfect. I am feeling great!

Went to the doctor for 3 month follow up. A1C down from 9.5 to 7.0. Blood pressure is 124/74 and cholesterol is in goal and if that is not enough I dropped 40 pounds on his scale. emoticon

I have been losing weight faithfully now for 1 year. I am so excited I tried on clothes I have saved hoping to get back into for a long time and for the first time realized that I have lost 10 pants sizes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I said "10" I am so happy. I'm down to 178 and my goal was down to 170 during my husbands deployment. I was 212 when he left in July and he comes home Jan 28th. emoticon

Yesterday, I had my LAST appointment with my oncologist. I am 10 years cancer free (BC).emoticon And 40 lbs lighter than two years ago. Now I get to go off the hormone pills. So my new goal is to reduce further medication for all my other health issues.

Just weighed and measured myself...I started on January 11th this year and I am currently down 100 pounds and 37 inches all over from this day. I am so excited. I still have a lot to lose but the motivation just doubled. So happy!

I increased my weights on Seated Lats pulldown from 140 lbs. to 180 lbs. I felt really strong after 2 sets. Plus I tried a new Weights machine today. I feel so accomplished and stronger than I thought.

Too bad excuses don't burn calories

Today I had my keys in hand to get fast food for lunch, but I put them down and made a sandwich. Then I stopped mid-pizza order at dinner time and made an omelette instead. Two good choices in a day..... I'm heading the right direction!
