Great job! Those little ones look all innocent, don't they....until you eat twenty million of them! YOU, however, mastered portioning and for that, you ROCK!! You should them who's boss!
Good on you for doing what is right! You will reap the benefits. Congrats.

Echo the way to go. I have been focusing on being more mindful so I enjoy my chocolate more focusing on the taste rather than the amount. Some days are easier than others. Today I had a great slice of chocolate cake and was happy it wasn't in the lunch room next time I went by! Will power is great but out of sight out of mind works better some days
I'll admit I was happy to get to the end of your post and see that you did have a little! I get depressed by the many cases of all-or-nothingism that I really smile about people enjoying even the "bad stuff!!"

When I find liquid aspartame I will be able to make chocolate for almost no calories at all!
As part of a Christmas gift basket I received buckets full of little chocolates. You know the ones....where you eat just one more because they're so small and by the time you know it you've eaten the equivalent of a chocolate bar (or two). Well. I took those little devils and put them in the kitchen for all to share. I filled up my water and walked away. My water is almost gone and I didn't eat all the chocolate. I did have a couple though, but not a couple handfuls.
