It's okay that you ate half a pizza. It really is. Because half a pizza is not why we're overweight. Half a pizza is a one time indulgence, not a daily routine. And most importantly, half a pizza has come and gone, and now it's time to move on and look at what you're going to eat next.
Don't punish yourself, don't feel guilty, don't starve for the next three days trying to 'make up' for it. Just look at your next meal and make healthier choices.
That's it. That's all this journey is, is looking at your next meal and making healthier choices. You didn't screw up, you don't have to 'start over'. There's no wagon off which to fall!
Because Spark isn't a 'diet', it doesn't tell you what you can and can't eat, it helps you make better food choices for the rest of your life. One meal is neither the rest of your life nor the downfall of your efforts toward healthy. One meal is come and gone.
So you ate half a pizza. I've done it. Pretty sure most of us have. And generally one overindulgent meal doesn't even blip on the radar.
The best piece of advice I ever heard was the most damaging thing you can do for your weight is feel guilty about what you eat! Because it starts it's own toxic spiral into thinking if you've already eaten half a pizza then you might as well give up or might as well eat that whole bag of chips or whatever.
But if you say okay, you ate half a pizza. You'll do better on your next meal, and you just move on, then you don't start into those negative thoughts that drag you down. Just... look at your next meal, and do better.

Eating a half a pizza doesn't make you a bad person or an unhealthy one. I give all new members one piece of advice and it's this,"Don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing mentality'. if the only healthy thing you did for yourself today was drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction. Remember, you're trying to change habits learned over a life time. That's not going to happen overnight, a week, a month or even a year. Change takes time. thus the need to be patient with yourself and your body.
In short, cut yourself some slack. It takes TIME to change habits learned over a life time.
What to do ? stop beating yourself up and don't starve yourself either. Instead, try to be mindful of your portion sizes. try to drink plenty of water as well as eat more servings of fresh fruit and veggies.
This is NOT the end of the world. Learning portion control takes time.
Don't panic. Just work on going back to your regular healthy eating schedule. We all have blips sometimes, and you don't need to be perfect to lose weight.
