You don't have your food diary posted. While you may be getting plenty of protein and fiber during the day, perhaps the problem is that you're not eating enough overall calories.
Let's say you're eating 1500 per day and let's say you workout for an hour and burn 500 calories. That means your body is only netting 1,000 calories for the entire. Even if those 1500 are loaded with protein and fiber to help keep you full, 1,000 calories is still not enough to calories to fuel a busy woman's day.
Also, when do you eat ? Perhaps you need to eat a little something closer to bed if you're eating dinner too early. What time do you go to bed ? If you're staying up too late in the evening, that's another cause for the munchies. Let's say you eat dinner at 6pm, but don't go to bed until 11pm. I could see how you'd get hungry again around 11pm.
thanks for the response. its not that i fear a piece of chicken to ruin things, but, its the fact that eating high fiber and protein and drinking lots of water, i shouldnt be feeling hungry. so why is it always late night snack attacks???

How are you feeling this morning ? You know, if you were hungry it is okay to have something to eat. having a piece of chicken wouldn't have ruined your day.
The fact is, one day of less than perfect eating will not make or break your healthy lifestyle. There will be days you are absolutely ravenous. It happens to us all. What to do ? have something to eat. Having some protein like chicken or nuts could have helped.
You're not a machine. You're a perfectly normal human being who has stressful days. What to do ? If you're hungry, you eat a little something. If you think your cravings are stress related, then you need to find ways to reduce your stress that don't involve food. I'm a firm believer that stress is a neglected aspect of weight gain. If a person could reduce their stress, they'd automatically reduce their waistline.
For now, you have to stop beating yourself up because you do have cravings. We really do all have days like this. As long as this doesn't happen every day, you'll be okay.

Stress can surely mess with your emotions, behavior and sense of well being. You said you were full, but experiencing hunger pains. Maybe its not actual hunger pains. Do you mean you just have the urge to go eat the food in the fridge?

Helppppp!!! Here I sit, almost 930pm, I have had all my food and calories for the day, lots of water, etc, and so now here I sit, with hunger pangs!!! I dont know where they are coming from, maybe the knowledge there is a piece of chicken leftover from supper???? Maybe stressing out over money, finding a job, paying off student loan debt???? Maybe many things. But not from lack of food. I am just so tired of this happening night after night. I am full, I am well fed I ate well today, I had fiber, protein, I walked, I drank water. Whyyyyyyyy?
