I think considering you are on p.meds, you would be best to talk with your Dr about what is happening. Sometimes we NEED to have the meds increased temporarily, or something else added to them, to get us through this sort of stress.

Also, are you, or have you had, therapy for the OCD? My late hubby had it really bad for loads of years. He was put on medication, which gradually got increased then a prescription change, and then his Psychiatrist reduced it to an acceptable level after taking him through a few sessions of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Sometimes we DO need to back off over-stressing ourselves. I have had a few anxiety attacks just by going for a walk outside of my house. The plan was to walk around the village. I got about 100 meters off the section and it started. I was determined to NOT give in to it (It only feeds an anxiety attack by giving in) but I did compromise and take a wee bit shorter route. The attack reduced, buy stayed with me until I got back into my house. It was only a 12 minute walk instead of what would normally have been a 25 minute walk. I felt really proud of myself that I managed that.

Good luck for you up-coming marriage.

I am getting married next month and I do have a lot of stress on me in general. But I thought I was doing pretty good in dealing with it. I had a great day yesterday, so I'm confused as to why I went weak last night.

I've also had OCD and been on meds for it for 10 years now.

Panic attacks aren't random, though sometimes it seems like it. Something triggered your "flight or fight" response into overdrive and you should work to figure out what that was. Trust me, living in a state of sustained anxiety is zero fun times.

Exercise should be something you look forward to, not dread. if you're feeling out of sorts because of your anxiety attack, take it easy today.

Although, personally, I do find that taking a walk helps me to relax when I'm stressed out. Walking is not only great cardiovascular exercise, it's a great way to reduce stress too. So, if you feel up to it a little later, you might consider taking a walk.

You can resume your normal routine tomorrow.

I had some form of a panic attack last night and feelings of unreality. This morning I felt exhausted. I've been trying to exercise 10 minutes a day most days of the week, but today feels impossible. Should I focus on de-stressing and relaxing, or should I push through it?
