I have to say that I am inspired by you to come here and write about it and let someone know that things are upside down and your feeling blue.. in stead of running to food for comfort... because that is what I do...

but one thing for sure .. all those things will be much easier for you to tackle if you do one thing and that is take care of you.. so get some rest drink some tea. put on your cozy slippers and tune to the Family channel to watch some Christmas movies..

Light a few candles, get a glass of wine (or in your case a cup of hot tea) put on some softer than usual music and take a nice hot bubble bath. It does wonders for the soul. emoticon

Thanks all. That helped a lot.

I think what has me most upset is my mood has turned me into a passive-aggressive, needy, winey b***h and I really hate when that happens. If I can't snap out of it, I'll just keep my head down and count the seconds until I can go home and crawl into bed for the weekend.

I hope things get better :)

Will you be running anyway this weekend? Maybe just baby yourself during the weekend due to the strep throat, this way you can back into the swing of things next week, and even get back to the gym.

I'm supposed to be running in a Jingle Bell 5k on Sunday. We might get snowed out too. I don't think they'll cancel, but they may postpone.

Drink plenty of hot tea with honey. The honey is naturally soothing and loaded with anti oxidants.

So by the time I clock out today, I'll have billed close to 60 hours this week. My boyfriend is in the middle of finals and probably can't come up this weekend. I'm mostly certain I'm in the beginning stages of a nice case of strep throat. I haven't been to the gym since Wednesday because of work schedule and the gym is a great mood booster for me. I'm supposed to run a 5 miler this weekend and it's going to start snowing during the race. And taking off sick isn't an option since I have a major project due on Monday along with a whole lot of other crap that needs to get done before I can leave.

So thanks for listening.
