As Ruth mentioned, I would recommend only counting your active walking as fitness minutes and just enter your total number of steps for that day in the step counter on your Fitness Tracker page. Counting your all day activity as exercise will over calculate your nutrition goals, so it wouldn't be a good idea to count all of that as a workout.

This is just what I personally do.... I wear a pedometer all day, too. I count (as Fitness minutes) the time I'm actively exercising (walking). And then, on your Fitness Tracker page, there's a place to record your total step count for the day. That's where I include everything, the total number of steps for the day. I aim for over 10K each day. But I do not count every single step as "Fitness minutes". btw, 6 miles in 3 hours is 2 mph, not 30.
