If you want chocolate have chocolate - UNLESS you know it's a binge food for you. When you deprive yourself of foods/treats you enjoy it makes for a lifestyle that's hard to maintain. So have a little chocolate, just don't go overboard. :)

I'll never stop being FLABulous!
I just need to be a little more healthful and develop some muscle and endurance. :)

There is no food that is off limits. No deprevation allowed here. Just have a portion, be accountable in your meal tracker, and work it into the rest of the day's plan. Always remember, tomorrow is another day.

It always amazes me to read about you folks that can eat just a small piece of chocolate and be satisfied. Even a small piece will trigger a craving for me.

Have a small piece of chocolate, like a Hershey miniature.

One stumble does not a failure make.

Everything in moderation.

There is nothing wrong with having a little chocolate in fact it is good for you. It has Zinc which increases leptin, which is a hormone that regulates your energy expenditures, fat storages and appetite. Dark chocolate has a positive effect on your mood and cognitive health and is good for your heart and colon.

Dark chocolate also has a low glycemic index, meaning it won't cause huge spikes in blood sugar levels. The magnesium in chocolate also helps prevent type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease

Satisfy Your Chocolate Craving
Ghirardelli cocoa 86% Dark Chocolate, not as sweet as the 72% one, but it is so intense that 2 small squares are all you want. I buy two large bars at Walgreens. Hershey's now makes dark chocolate kisses. You can eat 5 of those for 100 calories.

Glad it passed without you succumbing. This could be what had happened:

Wheew that was close. I drank about four cups of water, and then when I was still hungry I ate a sweet potato. Thanks y'all!

I don't know about Tropical Fish, but having any chocolate at all during a craving will trigger a binge for me. It always amazes me that anyone can eat just a little of chocolate or pizza, my two big dangers. But the dill pickle thing works for me every time.

TROPICALFISHI,

Does someone have any fun sized chocolates ? If you allow yourself one fun sized chocolate, the craving should go away. Just don't inhale it like a Hoover. sit and enjoy it. Give your stomach time to disgest.

If you don't want a chocolate, go have a couple of big glasses of water. Do you have any fruit or nuts ? Have a piece of fruit or a portion of nuts.

Eat a dill pickle. Eating something sour will often cure a sweets craving.

Good luck!
