1.) WHAT ARE YOUR NORMAL SNACKS THAT YOU EAT IN BETWEEN MEALS?

Generally I try to pair reduced fat cheese sticks with fruit or nuts (generally almonds or walnuts)

2.) ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC FOODS YOU CUT DOWN ON.

I eat very little flour or sugar products.

3.) HOW DO YOU FIX FROZEN VEGGIES/FRUIT WHICH ONES ARE HEATLHY TO BUY (FRUIT)

I microwave frozen veges. I generally don't buy frozen fruit any more. Any of them are healthiest to buy because they are frozen right when picked.

4.) DO YOU NAP OR HAVE LITTLE ONES?

Nap, yes. Generally on Sundays and with my cat Cookie on the couch. Little ones...no children.

5.) WHAT DO YOU PUT IN YOUR SALADS?

If my salad is aside of the meal, I do lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. If it is a meal, I add chicken or turkey, nuts, and fruit. As far as dressing, some kind of vinaigrette.

Snacks:
I don't actually snack that much! Though sometimes i "stretch out" my lunch (eating part of it at lunch and the rest of it at coffee-break time). If i do snack it tends to be in the evening after dinner, and usually that's when i'll have a cookie or a low-fat fudge pop or some other "treat" - which i try and keep to 200 calories or less. When i'm feeling actually hungry, I'll snack on an ounce of cheese (GOOD cheese, not cheap flavourless "cheeze product"), cut into tiny bits and savoured. Or a piece of whole grain toast with a THIN layer of peanut butter (smooth "natural" pb being the most flavourful and easy to spread).

What I cut down on
ALL fast food. I just don't eat it anymore. MANY "processed foods" - kraft dinner, ramen noodles, frozen pasta entrees, cold cereal. These are highly-refined carbs that pack a lot of calories but just don't keep me full for very long (and sometimes seem to make me hungrier/craving more food, because coming down from a carb-overload seems to do that to me). I have also just tried to ease up on carbs in general (bread, potatoes, rice, pasta) - i still eat those things but in significantly smaller portions. I get most of my carbs from fruit and veggies now, a lot less from "starchy" carbs.

Frozen Fruit
As long as the ingredients are just fruit (and no added sugar or fructose or glucose or cane syrup or any other way of saying "sugar") then it is a fine choice. The only frozen fruit I really enjoy is blueberries (and mixed berries). These I will stir into plain yogurt (possibly along with some oatmeal or granola). Makes a good breakfast or snack.

Frozen Veg
As long as the ingredients are just veg (and no added "butter sauces" etc.) they are a fine choice. The only frozen veg I like are peas and corn... either makes a handy addition to soup, rice pilaf, casseroles, stew. Corn works nicely as an addition to chili.

Naps
Usually not (they frown on that sort of thing at the office ha ha) but on occassion on a saturday afternoon in a sunbeam... yeahhhhhh

Salads
I will put just about anything in a salad. Particularly like leftover roasted veg - any type, really. Also leftover chicken or steak, sliced up thin, is a nice addition to make it more of a "meal." And feta cheese - some crumbles of that and you almost don't need dressing.

1.) WHAT ARE YOUR NORMAL SNACKS THAT YOU EAT IN BETWEEN MEALS?
For me, a huge variety of fruits, mostly and not often a whole piece. It might be 1/4 apple, or 5-6 grapes, or 1/4 - 1/2 pear, depending on the size. I also often have a drink with some milk in it, and/or some yoghurt (low calorie with whole-grains in it) Occasionally I might have a whole-grain cracker with some cottage cheese and slice of tomato.

2.) ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC FOODS YOU CUT DOWN ON.
Because prior to my weight loss I was eating TONS of fruit (often 10-14 per day), I had to cut down on that and increase lean protein and healthy fats.

3.) HOW DO YOU FIX FROZEN VEGGIES/FRUIT WHICH ONES ARE HEATLHY TO BUY (FRUIT)

I always have frozen peas and green beans in the freezer to supplement the fresh broccoli, cauli, cabbage, Swiss Chard that I mostly eat. Occasionally I have a carrot/peas mix in there too. I always have frozen blueberries - they are great to nibble from frozen on a hot day, or mixed with chopped strawberries and diced peaches to make a refreshing fruit salad. I also have fruit that I have frozen myself. They are all healthy, but my choices take into account my preferences, the protein level and fibre. If, for example, I need to increase my fibre and protein, peas are a great choice.

4.) DO YOU NAP OR HAVE LITTLE ONES?
I don't have children at home. I nap when I need it. I suffered a head injury a few years ago, and still feel the residual effects of that, so it doesn't take much for me to get fatigued.

5.) WHAT DO YOU PUT IN YOUR SALADS?
It depends. Sometimes I use Iceberg lettuce chopped or torn into bite sized pieces, cube telegraph cucumber with the skin still on, dice tomato and an orange. The orange acts as the dressing.

Sometimes I make coleslaw with finely shredded cabbage, grated carrot, finely chopped red and green capsicum and sometimes some finely sliced red onion, and a SMALL amount of low fat dressing mixed in.

Sometimes I make a salad with Romaine Lettuce, diced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, sliced red capsicum, sliced red onion and some broken up feta, and drizzle it with a little Balsamic Dressing.

I also make a mushroom salad with sliced button mushrooms, chopped spring onion and a little lite French Dressing.

1.) WHAT ARE YOUR NORMAL SNACKS THAT YOU EAT IN BETWEEN MEALS?

My snacks vary greatly from veggies with hummus, to fruit, to nuts, to a 90-calorie Fiber brownie. I try to keep several low-cal options available so I can eat based on my mood.

2.) ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC FOODS YOU CUT DOWN ON.

Caloric sodas. I do have an occasional Coke Zero, but it might be 2 or 3 times a month.

3.) HOW DO YOU FIX FROZEN VEGGIES/FRUIT WHICH ONES ARE HEALTHY TO BUY (FRUIT)

I always buy the frozen veggies in the microwave bags and eat them plain. I like the taste of veggies!

4.) DO YOU NAP OR HAVE LITTLE ONES?

I literally can't nap unless I'm sick. No matter how tired I am I can't sleep during the day. Childless.

5.) WHAT DO YOU PUT IN YOUR SALADS?

Romaine, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, carrots. Sometimes reduced-sugar craisins, almonds or sesame sticks, but only sparingly. I always measure my salad dressing!!!

1.) WHAT ARE YOUR NORMAL SNACKS THAT YOU EAT IN BETWEEN MEALS?
Mid-morning: 3/4 or 1 ounce of cheese (string cheese or cheddar. Mid-afternoon: 2 tablespoons of cashews. Evening: 1 small or medium apple, sliced, with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter.

2.) ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC FOODS YOU CUT DOWN ON.
I eat very few grains, and strive to be gluten free (so I am cutting out wheat, as well as barley).

3.) HOW DO YOU FIX FROZEN VEGGIES/FRUIT WHICH ONES ARE HEATLHY TO BUY (FRUIT)
I buy frozen blueberries and frozen mango. I eat the blueberries in my homemade plain yogurt with nuts and a little granola in the morning for breakfast. I sometimes put mango in a smoothie with banana or I do the same as with the blueberries in my breakfast yogurt.

4.) DO YOU NAP OR HAVE LITTLE ONES?
I don't nap. I have an 11 year old.

5.) WHAT DO YOU PUT IN YOUR SALADS?
My favorite salad is my lunch most days. Salad greens, 3 oz chicken breast meat (no skin), shredded carrot, diced sweet bell pepper, 1/4 of an avocado, 2 tablespoons of walnuts, 1-2 tablespoons salad dressing.

1. Normal snacks: At work, plain oatmeal with natural peanut butter and raw honey in the morning. Frozen plain green beans and sometime string mozzarella or Babybel cheese in the afternoon. Pre-workout is usually a banana

2. My eating now is drastically different from when I first got started. I don't do any processed foods now, only real, whole foods. But when I first got started, though I didn't totally restrict anything, I very quickly quit soft drinks because they're not worth the calories. Buffalo wings were also way too many calories for even a small amount

3. I buy frozen green beans and cook them in the microwave at work for an afternoon snack. Not exciting but just there for a snack when I need it.

4. Spinach, feta, craisins, walnuts, red and yellow peppers, Annie's Red Pepper Vinaigrette

5. Usually only take a nap on Sunday afternoon. I'm I school and work full time, so sometimes on Saturdays I'm tired enough. I love naps. No kids, just a very needy dog.

1.) WHAT ARE YOUR NORMAL SNACKS THAT YOU EAT IN BETWEEN MEALS?
apples, bananas, protein shakes made with almond milk and phytosoy protein powder
2.) ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC FOODS YOU CUT DOWN ON.
I am meat free and 90% dairy free (I cheat with a little cheese here and there). I did not do this to lose weight but rather for my health and ethical reasons. I also try to cut out refined carbs and sweets and avoid the overly processed fake meats. I put a huge emphasis on beans, rice and veggies in my diet.
3.) HOW DO YOU FIX FROZEN VEGGIES/FRUIT WHICH ONES ARE HEATLHY TO BUY (FRUIT)- I love to add frozen veggies to soups and pastas. I use frozen fruit like peaches and strawberries in my protein shakes sometime.
4.) DO YOU NAP OR HAVE LITTLE ONES? I am kid-free
5.) WHAT DO YOU PUT IN YOUR SALADS? I love walnuts, mandarin oranges, strawberries, apples, balsamic dressing, a little goat cheese, lot of spinach and tomatoes- not neccessarily all together though.

Best of luck to you!

Just keep going...

Please don't type with caps lock on. It looks like you are shouting.

1) fruit, some kind of cracker, cheese or turkey pepperoni sticks, kale chips

2) all unprocessed veggies and fruit are healthy.

4) yes, every single day and yes.

5) basic: salad mix, oil & rice vinegar. If I have them: grape tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, bacon, lemon juice, feta, kalamata olives (not all at once, good gawd)
