Acknowledging that you feel a binge coming on is better than realizing it AFTER the binge! Think about how unhappy/guilty you feel after a binge, compared to how great you feel when you are on track. I know stress is a trigger to feel like eating all of the junk in the world, so be sure to take some time for yourself! emoticon emoticon

When I get super stressed I try to think one day at a time - missing a few workouts really sucks, but in the big picture it's not a big deal - especially if you know your after work obligations won't last forever.

I'm at work. Can't walk, bath or exercise. But I can have some coffee & music. I ate 2 cookies, counted the calories and gave the rest of the pack to a student worker.

I'm volunteering tonight to hem pants at uniform distribution. Like I'm not busy enough already. So I'm missing my workout. Volunteering tomorrow too. Just spreading myself too thin. But there's not a lot of moms who sew. I feel obliged.

How about going out and taking a walk ? Out of sight. Out of mind. if you're not near any food, you won't eat any. Walking is not only great cardiovascular exercise, it's a great way to reduce stress too.

Stay strong ! And if you don't want to take a walk, find some other way to decrease your stress that doesn't involve food. drink a cup of tea. listen to some of your favorite music. take bubble bath. keep yourself busy so that you're not thinking about food.
