Hi. Do you know anyone with a pool of their own? If so, you could ask if you could use it for therapeutic reasons. Perhaps as a thank you, and if you can afford it, you could take a healthy morning tea or lunch to share if they are at home.
I don't use gyms, and mostly get my exercise by walking IN my own home. I put all my laundry and groceries away one at a time. This a.m. I managed 18 minutes with the laundry. Often I get more than that in - especially when I do the groceries, because I have them packed in light-weight bags (I have skeletal issues so can't lift heavier weights) and have 11 steps to walk up to get to the house as well.
You can do some chair exercises while watching TV - or put some music on with a good beat, and do chair exercises in time to the music. You can actually burn quite a bit doing that - LOL!
It is to be noted, too, that most of weight-loss comes down to what and how much you eat. I weigh everything I eat and enter it all into the nutrition tracker - even if it is only 2 grams of garlic or parsley. By doing that I have been able to stay focused and tweak my intake as and when necessary to ensure that I stay on track. Because of this, I lost a fair bit of weight and finally reached my goal nearly 3 years ago. I had been overweight for about 30 years, with a mostly very healthy diet, and also mostly in a normal weight-loss calorie range. Alas, it was too much for me :-( I STILL weigh all of my food and enter it in the tracker to ensure that I stay there!
You CAN do this - you just need some faith in yourself and your abilities. As far as being alone is concerned, we may not see you in person, by we are here for you - all you need do is stay in touch and you won't be alone!
