Hi KRISTINA2525 - it sounds like you have been a very high achiever even in the face of ill health. Unfortunately, sometimes the ill health has a habit of biting us in the butt when we least need it (not that we EVER need it!)
I hope that you are receiving Therapy for Grief and Depression. I have had it in the past,, and have recently gone due to a downward spiral after my husband's unexpected and very sudden death at Xmas time.
Have you had bloods done to see if you are lacking anything .... B12, Vitamin D., etc?
I had become severely depressed after a bad car accident. I had always enjoyed being around people, too. Because of physical pain and depression, I shut off from heaps of people. I felt that they mostly didn't give too hoots about me. Because of this my Psychologist gave me a prescription:
Once a week I had to go to a Cafe for a coffee. It was preferably to be the same Cafe because then the staff would get to know me and would strike up a different type of greeting/conversation that they do with any Joe Blog walking in off the street. I used to watch the various people coming and going, and then realized that there were other regulars having a coffee or lunch in there, too, and it made it easier to strike up a conversation with them. It really DID work wonders:-) It needn't be a Cafe - a Library or a Park would also be good, altho' you don't have to interact with people at those places. Still, it gets you out and takes the focus off yourself.
You can also always turn to SP - as this is an international site there is generally someone around 24/7.
I went to have a peek at your SparkPage but notice that you don't have one. IF you would like to create one and have it open, others will be able to drop by and leave encouraging messages as well as the occasional goodie. They are always nice to receive, and I know they often make my day. It is a great way to make some really good friends, too!
I don't know if you belong to any teams to do with your conditions, but they are a good place to get support from others suffering from the same or similar issues. If you don't belong to one for Depression, you are more than welcome to have a look at the Dealing with Depression team, using the link in my signature. It has over 1 million members and they are very supportive.
I wish you well in finding the answers to your issues, and for a safe, happy and healthy outcome!
