Thank you both for your advice. I was able to avoid the binge by taking a nice hot shower, drinking some tea and writing in my journal. This morning for my weigh in I found that I've lost two pounds!

Do something nice for yourself, not food related. Take a warm bath or give yourself a mani/pedi. Have a tea/coffee. Take a walk. Read a book. Do a craft. Go for a massage. Call a friend or family member and have a chat. Do some yoga or other stretching routine.

Just remember how awful you'll feel after you've eat that much food... but how nice you could feel after doing something nice for yourself.

The urge will pass.

Take your focus off the Marshmallow.

"Toning" is marketing muscles to women who are afraid if they pick up a barbell, they'll leave the gym looking like She-Hulk. It doesn't happen, what does happen is you get results. Lifting Barbie weights does nothing but waste time.

NIGHTOCUPS,

I give everyone all new members one piece of advice and it's this,"Don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing mentality" if the only healthy thing you did for yourself today was drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction.

As the old song goes,"accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative". Give yourself credit for all the positive things you do and don't beat yourself up because you're not perfect. You don't have to perfect to be healthy.

So, don't beat on yourself because you had a binge today. Instead keep giving yourself credit for all the positive things you do for yourself. That's what counts.

I've been doing really well this past week. I've tracked everything I've eaten even when I know that I've gone over my calories. Right now though I want to binge so badly. I'm in my calorie range at the moment, I have to stop now if I want to stay on for today. I am a bit hungry and I know that if I start eating now I won't stop until I've eaten well over a 1,000 calories. Please send help!
