Hi All, I have a question about exercise, or more accurately, not exercising.
I do a 40-60 minute exercise video 6 days per week (mix of body sculpting/cardio, like Jillian Michaels and SP Videos), plus at least a 3 mile walk/hike 6 days per week. So for example, yesterday I did a 40 min Sparkpeople boot camp video in the morning, and would have gone for a walk in the late afternoon, except that the smoke from the fires was so bad I couldn't stand to be outside breathing it (I live in Colorado). I woke up feeling really queasy with an upset stomach this morning (probably also due to the smoke), so I didn't exercise today.
I have read so many different opinions about rest days. Some people recommend rest days a few days a week and some say one or no rest days a week. I want to do what is best- so is one day off from the video, but with a walk ok? Or is it ok to exercise every day if you feel good? Some days I am just worn out and push myself and feel better after I've worked out, and some days I am just achy and work out and feel worse.
What do you all think?
Today's excuses are tomorrow's regrets dressed in disguise.
If you eat crap, you feel like crap and that makes you want more crap.
