It takes 3500 calories excess to gain a pound of actual weight. If you didn't exceed your calories over the past week, then it's unlikely the scale is reflecting a gain of actual fat. Instead, you're probably seeing normal fluctuations in fluids due to undigested matter in your intestines, hormonal fluctuations, etc. Sometimes when it's hot out, I notice I retain more fluids, for example. Don't let it get to you. Keep doing all that good stuff. The weight will come off. Consider it "money in the bank."
You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.
