My poor body just doesn't know what's going on. On Monday I was feeling sick, so I took a day off from exercising, Tuesday I went to my power yoga class, and Wednesday and Thursday I did my normal workouts. The last couple of days I haven't made it to the gym, but I've been active enough.
But I've binged eaten for a few of those days...and today my period came a week and a half early...so I can hopefully attribute some of the intense carb-cravings to PMS, but I still feel gross and bloated and just...gross. And the stupid PMS mood swings don't help. It's not that I've been sitting on my couch with a gallon of icecream...it's mostly good-for-you stuff like veggies and dip (with the exception of the ONE cupcake and ONE piece of pizza I had today), but I've just been eating A LOT, so I feel HUGE by the end of the day.
And all along I've been saying, "you had a bad day, don't let it turn into a bad week," but it did...so, what do you do to get back on track after falling off the wagon a bit? I know to just start doing it again - I know that. But I'm also frustrated because a month ago I was looking and feeling great...and now I'm just scared to get on the scale or pull out the measuring tape. So I need more than just "get back into it,"
Sorry to vent. I need an attitude check, because it's not about being skinny...but that's where my head's at right now. I'd appreciate your suggestions though :)
