I'm really, really sick. I have a cold, and I've been getting plenty of fluids and rest-- but I'm craving such bad for me foods. I usually love fruits and smoothies and planned on starting my day off with one, but the thought made me sick. I had soup, and now, I'm turned off to that too. I ended up ending my day with McDonalds nuggets, fries, and half of a sundae. (Yes, half, thankfully.) I also had like 5 or 6 cups of sweet tea (which my grandmother conveniently makes at 100 calories a pop, yikes.)
Tips, please? My boyfriend hasn't been able to shake this cold for 5, going on 6 days days and I'm only on day two! I need advice, and perhaps a logical reason why I am craving so many awful things.
Edit: I've kind of decided to let myself be while I'm sick. I'm hard on myself, and you know, my body will tell me what it needs. I'll try to make smart choices, but by all means, if my body is sending me hunger signals, I'll listen. If its turned off by a certain food, I'll listen. I'm sick, and being sick won't last forever. Tips still appreciated.
