Friggin' awesome on quitting smoking!
Nothing you have done is wasted. Nothing. Your lungs are healthier. Your liver is healthier. Your cardio-vascular system is healthier. Your bones are denser. Your muscles are stronger. Your brain cells are healthier. Probably every cell in your body is healthier.
A few things to think about.
1. Are you getting enough vegetables and fruits? These will load you up with phytonutrients, which help everything.
2. Are you under stress? Stress tells your body to add fat so that you will have energy stores for an upcoming emergency. If you can reduce your stress, that may help.
3. Are you getting enough fun? Are you enjoying your home cooked meals? How do you feel after your run? Could you be getting burned out on your routine? Maybe trying something new could spark something. New recipes. New exercise class. Getting friends to walk or run with you.
I am really impressed by everything you've accomplished so far.
