Hooboy, I feel your pain, I have no idea how the body decides exactly which fat cells to draw upon at any given time, but, I have weight coming off me in weird and unpredictable ways. Like, the other day while bathing-suit-shopping, I experienced the shocking-yet-hilarious revelation that my bust is shrinking unevenly! I'm * lopsided* at the moment, oh what indignity is this! I hope the other one catches up eventually lol...
But yeah sadly "spot reduction" doesn't work. You can tone up the underlying muscle which can help in certain ways, i.e. good core strength improves posture, toned muscle looks good under your skin) but the fat will deplete from wherever it chooses, of its own accord.
Goal 1 - break 200 (46 pounds lost)**DONE**
Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE**
Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)
